If anyone is interested in participating in the marches and hasn't RSVP'd yet, please RSVP to [email protected]!
Also, shout-out to everyone who came out to the sign-making today and made some wonderful signs!
Tumblr media
Friends, allies, etc. of all identities welcome! -- the more the merrier!
Trans March-- Fri June 27th, 2025: check in by 7:45pm
on Church near Charles (at the Toronto Aces & Aros table at the community fair, unless there's a changeare marching in seque
Dyke March-- Sat. June 28th around 1pm
we are borderline about enough people so RSVP asap if interested
Pride Parade-- Sun, June 28th, by 12:30pm at the north-west corner of Yonge & Pears Ave. (near Rosedale subway station).
new location!
line-up # C9
we are marching in sequence with the Toronto Bisexual Network
Please RSVP to [email protected] to co-ordinate day-of contact info to make sure we find everyone, bring the signs people want to carry, etc.
As usual, we invite people (esp. trans, non-binary etc. and bi+ folx) to march with us in solidarity, particularly those bringing more anti-corporate, abolitionist, anti-colonial messaging. (We expect everyone to abide by聽Toronto Aces & Aros Respect Guidelines聽and Pride Toronto鈥檚 policies, which include *not* displaying logos from any other group, organisation or business etc.) Because we are a politically diverse group, those with more straightforward "aces & aros exist" messaging will be at the front with the Toronto Aces & Aros banner, followed by the more politically nuanced messages-- so that we can all march by messaging that reflect our pride goals.
For the Pride Parade especially:
dress for the weather (sunscreen, hat)-- events rain or shine
bring water
expect to be standing around waiting for a long time in a loud & crowded stretch of pavement with possibly no shade
If you have difficulty standing for a long time and may want to sit, maybe bring something to sit on (e.g., a towel)
Masks recommended in the dense line-up crowd.
You may want ear plugs while waiting
neither bathrooms nor food are likely to be readily available (we will have some granola bars though)
Please RSVP to [email protected]
