you will see me in the sunset because when we broke up it felt like the sun going down / an ending we had long expected yet were surprised by when it came / you will see me in winter because i loved the cold and left you in it / you will see me in spring because i loved the flowers, and never picked them as i wanted them to live / you will see me in the color changing leaves because we changed our colors, too, until we fell apart / and you will see me in the fog as my ghost wraps its arms around you, but never gets close enough to touch you

Hand holding has to be the most intimate thing that exists. I don’t care what anyone says, holding hands is one of the most beautiful part of being human. Be it romantic or platonic.

i am a twenty-four years old self-taught artist based in germany. my art is about transience, but also about growing – as flowers grow back after somebody stepped on them. my work centers around grief, forgiveness and falling in love.

i find comfort in the aesthetic of death. maybe because i fear it, maybe because i fear what others don’t. i romanticize the constellation of dead bones with living flowers. most people keep dead animals in their fridge, i hang them up in frames. what sounds more absurd?
