heyyy guysss yknow what wpuld be cool. so in BugVerse those cat-like traits that the Heroes have left over from Kitstate eventually fade (minus Cyanogen's for obvious reasons lol), and Gold's leftover trait is that his eyes slit when hes pissed off/startled/anything like that. i think itd be cool or something that when that trait eventually fades he ends up having permanently slitted eyes. y'know. like a snake

i imagine that the Trees' anniversary is like,,,, also the (main) Heroes' birthday, considering they were. y'know. birthed on that day

however, they get 2 separate celebrations for it: one big official one for all of Paradise (technically its for them as well but its mainly for the Trees), and a smaller one for only close friends/caretakers & the other Heroes/whatever

usually the smaller party/celebration is held on a different day, because the anniversary celebration is already A Lot and can be overwhelming

Hexalace wasn't assigned to be Bug's caretaker immediately after her connection was restored. in fact, the only time she'd met her (at first) was during the battle against Dub when Bug got lost from the person assigned to keep an eye on her and make sure she Didn't Fucking Die. Hexalace saw her one hit from shattering and went SHIT, dropped everything she was doing, ran over and scooped her up and kept her safe for the rest of the fight.

Hexalace didn't think that she'd ever personally meet Bug again, that it was a one-time thing. however after a few months went by (during those months the other caretakers were basically fostering aer, in a way) she was called to be a caretaker and went Oh holy shit theres that girl!

the Heroes have an unwavering loyalty to the Trees. like, to the point where they will go fucking feral if someone even just verbally threatens them.

ofc there are some things that can cause them to turn on the Trees, but it has to be drastic. and even then it may cause just one of them to go "fuck the Trees" instead of them all
