"Good morning!" Leon is all smiles, lightly jogging up to him with a well-used map in his hand. (The map, unfortunately, is not the correct one for this region. Not even close.)

"I'm sorry for the interruption, but I was hoping you could help me! I'm... not the best with directions, you see."

Oh Lack-Two was planning to have a wonderful day. His one day off for the month for enrichment time, spending spa time and retail therapy with his Pokemon. It makes him, his particular partner and tenacious team feel good - his own day, with what felt like no responsibilities.

And then, he heard that man. And saw him approaching. If Lack-Two was to run away, he knew that'd reflect poorly on him, and he cannot have that! He will not let one miniscule mistake blow years of practiced precision in the art of exuding a higher authority than what he has. So, he put on a well rehearsed camera smile, and a slight tilt of his head to show interest.

He wasn't interested - he was annoyed. If he could, he'd tape Leon's mouth shut. It's not a good morning.

"Ah- I understand that much. Directions are a pain - especially if you're GPS-less. Last week I caught some delinquents spray painting the sign for Pinwheel Forest too, can you believe it?" He scoffed, speaking all while he, with the gentleness of a Lilipup, took the map out of Leon's hands, gently pulling it straight as he looked it over, "Luckily, I took a picture and turned in that evidence to the Police Department. Vandalism isn't good."

He would have topped it with a laugh, a carefree one but with an edge of slight warning. One well rehearsed, like that smile. but he didn't. He paused, furrowing his brows and looking the map over. He looked at Leon, not even being able to keep smiling before looking back at the map, giving a quick "Hah...!" and a shake of his head.

"...Ah...Now not to question your intelligence," he's already done that, "But...You do realize this is Unova, correct? This map is blatantly for Johto. The Unova map is far bigger. Ah...Let's back track, shall we?"

Lack-Two folded the map up neatly, ensuring it ends up as a perfect square before offering back out to the man.

"Where did you start?"

There was no need for that fun fact. And Lack-Two isn't very happy about that.

"Emmet, that is very unnecessary, and must I add also very rude. My orphan status isn't something to keep hold of knowledge wise. It is worthless information."

"Go make me a cup of coffee, and I may forget about your rudeness. No sugar, a drop of milk - stir it clockwise for 20 seconds before adding a small amount of cream before stirring anti-clockwise for 30 seconds - and with the stirring spoon, tap the cup four times."

Because he doesn't want to stay mad at Emmet, so he may as well give him a chance to repent.

"It depends, really. If you want me to like you and still want to receive the wonderful gifts I give you, yes, it is allowed. And to prove his point, he cleared his throat. And, in a heavy accent-

Lack-Two gave a small laugh at such. A handful would find Ingo taking most of them funny, and he supposes he could be part of the handful. Even if it did make him want to sneer in disgust and roll his eyes. Chocolate is something to be savored, to eat slowly so every little morsel has caressed each and every taste bud. Something so heavenly, that consuming it is worship. But, he supposes not everyone is mature around chocolate.

"Oh but I insist Emmet. You're my friend, and who wouldn't like to treat their friends?" It was toxic on his tongue. It was questionable if he really saw Emmet as a friend, per say. But, he respects Emmet enough to not see him as an enemy. So there's a start...

Oh but of course. Of course he'd like sour candy. It tasted like battery acid, so it'd make sense he'd like it. Not that Lack-Two has tasted battery acid before - it's more in reference to the acidic contents.

"I see...Then I suppose I should offer you sour orthworms next time, hm?" He wondered if he brought a clicker and clicked it with a disappointed expression each time Emmet put one in his mouth, it'd condition him to hate that childish taste. It'd be infringing on Emmet's right to freedom, but a boy can wonder. Not like he'd actually do it, even with his own curiosities.

@downtrain offered: blankly staring. "...do you want some of my chocolate" clearly this is lack's way of asking for chocolate, right?

Lack-Two tutted, wagging his finger with a delicate smile. Superficial, many such cases with him.

"Now now, Emmet. I don't want any chocolates. If I did, I'd buy them myself. I'm quite the fan of To'ak after all. I doubt any average person could afford that. Maybe if I get some, I'll give you a piece to try."

Oh I have missed writing him and making him speak like that™. He makes little sense trying to seem so mature. Boy if you don't start acting like your age....

"Yet I do stand by what I say...To each their own, I suppose. Even if I seem incredibly desperate to some. Yet words do not make the desperation, it's all in the body language."

"People participating in Valentine's Day makes me chuckle quite a bit. You're meant to be showing your adoration and love, be that platonic or otherwise, 25/8. To have one day dedicated to that is....Quite pathetic, no? Participating in it really shows how deep your care goes, which isn't that deep."
