POTENTIAL BINDER GIVEAWAY
hello! it’s been a very long time since i made a public post. a lot of personal things went down, but tldr i’m very sorry and will try to get this blog going again!
now the point of this post is this: personally, i have two binders i cannot use, because they are both too small on me. i’ve decided to try give them away for free to anyone who would need or want one!
i have a small nude no. 5 binder (lightly worn), and a medium black racerback (never worn). the medium racerback is slightly smaller than the non-racerback, and would probably fit someone with a smaller chest/slighter build. if anyone is interested, feel free to DM me with questions!

Sorry for sending in two asks but I forgot to add this- how do I find pants that dont make my hips look huge ahh
it’s okay to send two asks! this is a problem a lot of us face. i recommend finding pants that aren’t form-fitting. straight legged pants are good. if you can find a good pair, buy pants actually from the men’s section - but i will warn you, these can sometimes fit weird. men’s pants generally fit okay on the legs, but the waistband can sometimes feel too small.
good luck!!

So I pretty much look like a lesbian, no hard feelings to lesbians I'm just not a girl, literally all the masculine tip things just make me look like a butch lesbian. Any idea why?
i’ve had the same problem. this may not be any of your fault - you may have a more feminine face. this is unfortunate for transmasc people, but you can work around it!
if you’re trying to look less like a girl (or a butch lesbian), you can avoid wearing form-fitting flannels or snapbacks. this sounds stereotypical, but form-fitting clothes, even when they look more masculine, will accentuate feminity. and with snapbacks - sometimes a hat will make you look more like a girl. i don’t really know why, but i’ve had baseball hats and snapbacks that make me look like a girl with certain outfits.
if the thing drawing back from looking fully masculine isn’t the clothes, try to figure out what out could be. it might just be your facial structure - in which case, you can’t do much. maybe make your eyebrows thicker with light makeup, or contour a bit to look more masc (there’s tutorials on how to do those on youtube!). it might be the way you stand or walk - one thing i do is watch how other guys move around me, and incorporate that into how i move myself.
i hope you can find a way to make things work. :)

Hi! I'm ftm and I cant find a good way to bind that isn't harmful (I just put tape over my chest because my sports bras don't work), and it makes me a little uncomfortable. Is there another way? Thanks!
hey!!! im so sorry this is such a late reply. i don’t know if you still need to hear this, but don’t bind with tape!!! ever!!! tape will damage your skin and can cause pain.
a way to bind is to wear a compression sports bra - you may be wearing support bras instead of a compression bra.
you can also put on your most compressive bra (while making sure it fits correctly! don’t wear a bra that’s too small!) and put a tank top over it. then you can fold the tank top’s bottom over the top, forming an extra layer.
i’d also reccomend wearing looser clothes - a baggier shirt or hoodie will help :)

Masculine clothes tip
When you get pants, KNOW YOUR SIZE IN MENS. Seriously, I just got my first few pairs of guy jeans and they fit better than skin because I know my size. I pass and look so much better now. 🐛💚

Hi! I`m Conan, I`m 13 and am autistic. I got a question about being trans masculine. I often feel a little non binary, and sometimes feminine, but I know I`m a boy inside. Is this okay? Often times I misgender myself and I accidentally say to my parents I`m non binary, even though I`m out (mostly), and now they basically think my gender changes every day! Also, how can I help with that? Thanks!
of course thats okay! you dont neeed to be hyper masculine all the time. :)
i dont know how to help, other than to maybe work on remembering to use the right gender terms? be aware of what you’ll refer to yourself as. unless you’re happy with what you use!

buy a swim shirt!! it will cover your body and you can say you dont like wearing skintight bathing suits. you can also get a swimsuit with swim shorts!

Do you have any tips tp pass as male and how to deal with a homo-transphobic family?Im out to my dad and my step mom as FTM.But Im not out to my mom’s side because they always make homophobic jokes and they seem really against the lgbt+ community
heres two posts i’ve made on passing better as male/using clothes to pass. another tip i have is to try to walk less with your hips and more with your center, and to be concious of your body language - men usually take up more space.
as for dealing with a homo/transphobic family, i’d say to be careful with what you say. maybe wait a bit to come out. if it’s not safe or you won’t be respected, don’t come out.

Hi, my name is Jayce. I'm a FtM dude. I have a question for you... Since I've recently come out to my mother about me being trans and she is totally accepting. But the issue is that she never calls me by my name or by the right pronouns. She always says oh I'm still getting used to it, I'll remember next time. She never corrects herself and when she talks about other people calling me he/him she gets excited. It's like shes not even trying. It's really making me feel bad. Can u give some advice?
i’d say to keep reminding her - saying things like ‘it’s not (deadname), it’s Jayce.’ or ‘it’s he, not she.’ if she still won’t change the pronouns or name she uses for you, sit her down and talk seriously about this with her. she needs to respect your identity, and you should tell her that.

so few things have been bothering me lately : Can a 5'1 rather thick transboy wear skinny jeans if they're not really tight? Can you swim with a packer on? Do you have any recommendations for binding swimwear that's also cheap ? What songs are good for voice training? If I keep dyeing my hair white /silver will I still pass or would it be better with brown hair? Do you have any workout routines for chest muscle and/or for getting thinner thighs and a flat butt? please and thank you
hey! this is a lot of questions, so i’ll answer only a few and ask that you dm me with the rest.
1. skinny jeans are fine! if theyre looser skinny jeans you’ll be alright for sure.
2. underworks has a compression tank top, which works as a binder for swimming (i believe). you can also wear a compression sports bra with a swim shirt/trunks.
3. i don’t know any songs, but you can look up how to lower your voice.
4. you can keep dying your hair! hair color (unless it’s bright pink, which might confuse a few people) usually doesn’t matter.
please dm for the rest of the answers - i’ll be gald to answer all your other questions!

Hey I have a friend who's Trans and he's too nervous to ask himself so I'm here :) I'm just gonna copy and paste his message 'Hey, I’ve never really done this before, but I decided to give it a try. I don’t know what to do because my parents aren’t letting me wear my ‘binder’ anymore and they said they don’t care that I’m uncomfortable without it and stuff. My entire family is extremely trans/homophobic btw' If you could answer, thanks! We'd really appreciate it
hello to you and your friend!
first, i’m a bit confused as to why binder is in quotations - it is a home made binder?
now, if your parents say you can’t wear your binder anymore, maybe find ways to wear it when you’re not around them. take it to school, put it on there, and take it off before you head home. wear it when home alone, if you’d like. wear it when out with a friend.
and when around your parents, wear sports bras. double up, buy compression bras, and loose shirts. you’ll find ways to be more comfortable!
thank you for asking for your friend! if he has a tumblr and would like to, he can dm me!
stay safe!! :)

Uhh hey I hope you're doing well! :) Now umm.. recently, like the last 2ish weeks I've had problems with very bad dysphoria, and still do, because someone that knows I'm a boy aggressively misgendered me a whole weekend over and since then everything felt super friggin shitty again (I'm almost 3 months on T) and I've got rudely misgendered by some strangers yesterday as well and I just feel super bad and suicidal again.. any tips on what I can do? I can't talk to my friends about it, so I ask u
hey! this deals with a serious topic: suicide and feelig suicidal. so it’ll be tagged, and i’ll be talking about dealing with that a bit.
first: suicide isn’t the answer. please don’t do anything to hurt yourself. you don’t deserve that, and things will end up getting better. if you feel like self-harming or start to seriously consider suicide, ask for help. there are online places, hotlines (though those aren’t always helpful), and friends. i could maybe even help a bit. try drawing, writing, playing or listening to upbeat music. distract yourself with something. snap a rubber band against your wrist a bit, if you feel like you need pain (but please, please don’t harm yourself any other way).
second, for the person who misgendered you: consider (heavily consider) cutting them off. you don’t need that person around. you deserve to have people who are healthy for you around.
now, a few tips for being misgendered/dysphoria. i’d say to ask friends to call you the right way (correct name/pronouns) and to try a tip someone sent in: read a story about a guy, and replace his name with yours. try writing about yourself as a man if you’d like. remember the transphobic people don’t get to tell you who you are. dress in your most masculine/favorite outfit.
i hope everything ends up alright. remember you can talk to me. 💙
