INTRODUCTION

You all have been waiting for Women of Xal’s Official Fanart Contest, and it’s finally here! We’ve been doing a lot of back and forth on what kind of fanart contest we should host, the rules, and the prizes, and we think we’ve finally hit a perfect sweet spot that everyone can enjoy!

Rules

Your submission must be based on “Women of Xal” and/or Xal’s lore. OCs may be included, but at least 50% of the art must be related to WoX/Xal.

You may submit up to 2 entries per person, but only one entry can win.

Submissions must stay PG-13 or lower in terms of content. If you’re unsure about the subject matter of your submission, contact one of us prior to submission.

If you want to submit a piece of fanart that is not included on the list above contact one of us prior to submission.

Submitting a work of greater scale is not a guarantee that it will win out over works of lesser scale. Example: a ten-chapter fanfic will not automatically place higher than a one-chapter fanfic.

Whitewashing (lightening a character’s skin) is an instant disqualification.

Being rude or antagonistic to another competitor is an instant disqualification.

Submitting someone else’s work is an instant disqualification.

We have permission to upload your work if you are selected. (Credit and links will be provided)

Submission Details

Send any and all entrees to TeamProjectTrinity@live.com. You can post your creations anywhere you want (social media, blogs, ect), however, the entry only qualifies if it’s (also) sent to our email address.

Make sure your subject line has the term “Fanart Contest” along with whatever else you type. Doing so will automatically move your email from the junk folder to the Fanart folder!

I absolutely adore her design! The “rambo” thing she has going with her hair is so indicative of a progressive leader~ And I love her one-piece corset dress with them boots! Such style~

Anxellica Solcimine, major antagonist for Women of Xal.

She appears to lead a small group of people “from the shadows” and appears responsible for some of the major upsets that occur in the game. The game does not rely on miscommunication as a crutch: this woman is very much an active foil and can be seen aiding her group in morally dubious endeavors. Her motives remain a mystery.

I’ve always wanted to have an angry noises meme for my lala!  This is with an old lala joke that I had with my friends years ago!  Also the first 3 panels are based on a manga called Dungeon Meshi. I really recommend that manga!  The Aura is my friend Mizore Yuki from Mateus!  I’m sorry for the long text post!

Have you ever felt as if you have done something to wrong every person who may have ever supported you in the past? And the cause of this line of thinking is because it seems like those you’d expect to support you, don’t?

Social media has done this to me. 

I’ve been poisoned by instant gratification. By the dopamine effect that drives so much of our reality.

I want to be better. I want to focus. I want to support others.

But when it seems like everyone can’t be bothered to show interest in what I’m doing, it breaks me. And I wonder if I’ve done something to harm my friends and colleagues. 

I’ve even thought that some of my dear friends were upset with me. That I had wronged them somehow.

Every time, however, nothing is ever wrong. We smile. We joke. We move forward, sharing our ambitions and projects we’re currently doing.

And yet the silence seemingly prevails while others are repeatedly reaffirmed of their direction. 

Social media has poisoned my creativity. So I must shatter it...

2K Followers Milestone! Fanart Contest Incoming?

We did it, folks! On Tumblr alone, we have reached 2000 followers! All thanks to your unyielding support, reblogs, and posts dedicated to showing love to Women of Xal!

To show our thanks, we’re thinking of hosting a fanart contest! Before we do however, we’d love to know what sort of rewards you think would be fitting for the winners of said contest. I’m also thinking of rewarding anyone who enters (and qualifies*) for the contest with a free download of “Tall Tales of Memoria”, a musical album following the story of two lesbian mages that are being threatened by their oppressive government. It’s Symphonic Jazz Metal featuring fantastic vocalists. But more details on all that later. For now, give me those great ideas, ya’ll!

*Qualifying: It’s pretty hard to mess up qualifying. Just don’t do things like make Xuna “Ambiguously Black™” or, when honesty is afoot, outright whitewash my characters.

This is a dream come true 😭 Btw they’re longwear liquid pigments which means you can use them as foundation OR concealer and even mix them with other products. Besides, not only are they cruelty free, they are also fragrance, oil and paraben free! YSL needs to take notes. Just saying 💁🏾
