I am also a bit surprised that people who make Scott and Jimmy's relationship toxic always make Scott the toxic one.

Like, to be clear, I don't think either of them are toxic. I just made a whole post about how their issues come from them wanting different things, not from one of them being toxic or something.

But fandoms love to stretch and dramatize, I get that. So I get why people make them toxic for fun.

I just don't get why it's always Scott.

Because actually rewatching Third Life from their pov's recently, Jimmy had just as many- if not more- moments where he was dismissive, argumentative, or selfish as Scott did.

Yet when the fandom zooms in on their issues to portray their relationship as toxic, Jimmy is always the victim, the one being manipulated, the one being dismissed and belittled, and Scott is always the mean and controlling one.

And it's just baffling to me. Genuinely. I don't understand why fans who make them toxic always do it by magnifying Scott's perceived wrongdoings and only Scott's perceived wrongdoings. I don't understand why fanon dramatizations always play up (to a frankly ludicrous degree) Scott's flaws when, to be frank, he's never been any worse than Jimmy, and nobody makes Jimmy out to be "toxic".

i love this as an idea because we just use y'all innately because we grew up in the south. i agree people should use it if they want, but the idea y'all is (more) western and gang-related is very funny to us. it is most commonly used in the south, and i didn't think y'all was so interlaced with the wild west to some? either way, i like hearing people support y'all more and also learn how other people think about the history and context of different things

I'm just saying, systems should totally steal the word "y'all"

Like c'mon it's perfect! I'm talking to a bunch of people right here! It's a stealth way to say "hey I see all [number] of ya :3" around singlets!

And bonus points it makes it easier to transition into other western gang-related slang for when we eventually take over this rust bucket of a town, yeehaw!

It will never cease to amaze me that abled queer people will (of course rightfully) get pissed off at terfs, homophobes, etc. but if a disabled person gets angry at ableists suddenly we're being "too aggressive" and "assuming the worst of people" and "not considering their side of things"

i very much feel like jon (a headmate) but slightly different than normal. i feel like jon but slightly off. not in the way that i am another jon alter, though. i just feel a bit different. i wonder if this is what it's like to have a subsystem? we have had the same feeling with another alter before. i feel like the same person, but my connections feel a bit warped, and my personality is just slightly different (i'm a bit less present). it could be that i am blended, but it doesn't feel exactly like that (or just that). any thoughts our comments are greatly appreciated.

alters can be sourced from anything at all. they can be like a direct copy of a source from a media, they can be your interpretation of said character (even one of many interpretations), they can be from aus with no connection to the original material, they can be personas and ocs. most people would consider these alters to be introjects as they are sourced from another media (even if you made them), but you don't have to do so. if they're brainmade, then that's what they are. there are also terms for alters who are in-between and/or a mix of brainmade and introject. we hope this helps

I think it's finally time to share something I've been really excited about for a couple days now!!

I've started a Bah archival project!! But with a bit of a twist!

It's on simply plural!!

Now, to explain how all of this works :p

I created a simply plural account, specifically for the sake of archiving as many packs as I can ( @ simply-sleepy-bah ). you may be wondering, why simply plural? well, firstly because I love the markddown support :p, but more importantly, because the simply plural account won't have the risk of deactivation! another reason behind the account is that I want a way to give back t this wondrful community even when I am dealing with a lot irl, and archiving packs in general takes a lot less time and effort for us then having to collect all the info in making one ourselves.

Now, How does the set up work? well, we create profiles for each pack, picking a faceclaim used in the pack as the avatar, and putting some core info in the description, along with credits, a link to the original post, and pretty web graphics :p

then, we add them to groups in order to make it easier for anyone looking for something more specific! we have groups for: species, roles, age, alter type, source, original creators, and finally, warnings!

Warnings include anything I can think of that could be considered triggering, as well as certain things added to packs that may make people uncomfortable or may be something someone is specifically looking for (ex: NSFW, MUD's, Paras, Etc)

Any listed roles will include descriptions (generally copy and pasted from pluralpedia when applicable), though we often make a few profiles before going through and adding descs to all of them so they may not have them right away.

We then have the filled out custom fields sections which include

"general info" "personal info" "system info" "other info" "alternate faceclaims" "web graphics" "other images" and "aesthetics" // these will be made up to include any and all info on the original packs.
