My favorite part of the crafting process is when I've done all of the research, made my plan, gotten my materials, and then get so intimidated that I never cut fabric.
I can't wait wait wait until we get the new art studio set up and I can get back to my projects. I've been in limbo since just before the turn of the year because I was originally going to do the shed conversion and then the move jumped on us. I managed to get a new baby quilt done for the realtor (who had a newborn last week), but everything else is packed up.
Taquito has been more nervous than usual
I want to include these poles in a lino block piece
And I've been playing around with a new sona design
As a treat making it to the end, here's some dogs I saw at the vet.
I'm still rolling genre distinctions around in my head, specifically, I'm rolling the boundaries of what Urban Fantasy is, so I thought I might as well ask Tumblr

Learning how to weave! After a brief attempt at card weaving, I discovered pick-up weaving and immediately switched over to weaving with a heddle. And since I need to make everything as complicated as possible, I'm working on creating my own patterns as I learn.
Still figuring out how to maintain an even tension when I move my set up around. Ultimately, I'll get a loom and that should solve most of my issues. They're a tad wonky, but I'm pleased with my patterns and excited to come up with more! :))
