idk, i really don't interact with the crit community anymore because of the select few people in it that seem to use it to continue their obsession with Tumblr Drama like. they'll make 1000 word callouts about users who unknowingly reblogged something gross and apologized, or accidentally said something stupid but recanted and apologized profusely immediately, but continue to remain mutuals with people who reblog l*li shit or ship pedophilic ships because those people haven't pissed of their friends yet??? and it really is just. sad cause i miss the community but i don't miss that lol

it's so weird that you're like dumb enough to think that these fictional characters are living breathing people with agency over what they do and not. characters written by men lmfao
De-Objectify Dragon Age Mods
couldn’t think of a better name for the life of me lmao
Dragon Age: Origins:
Boob Patches Be Gone - Seriously, why do the female mage robes have boob patches? This ditches them.
Neutral Female Armor - This mod stops the boobplates on the medium/heavy armors, and instead replaces them with something a lot more neutral.
Desire Demon Covered - Exactly what it says on the tin. Covers up the Desire Demon.
Lady of the Forest Covered - This gives her a bark retexture that covers her, as opposed to her previous nudity.
Practical Female Dalish Armor - No more baring your midriff in this armor! A godsend.
More Covered Female Chasind Robes Retexture - Now, when you wear the Chasind Robes as a lady, you’re actually WEARING something.
Chasind Robes Retexture - This is for the dudes - it covers up the random chest hole in the Chasind Robes.
Morrigan Sacred Ashes Trailer Robes - This mod gives Morrigan the robes she wore in the Sacred Ashes Trailer, which cover up more than her original outfit.
There’s also the Human Female Proportions Fix, the Elf Female Proportions Fix, and the Dwarf Female Proportions Fix. However, these WILL render quite a few retexture/armor mods unusable.
Dragon Age 2:
Edit: Simple Pants for Isabela is a version with no whitewashing, thank god. I erased the previous options, because if there’s a non-whitewashed version to support, you do it.
Female Hawke Movement Animation Tweak - This mod stops FemHawke from waggling her hips so exaggeratedly and ridiculously, and changes her walking/running to DudeHawke’s. Add MotA Female Walk Tweak if you have the Mark of the Assassin DLC.
Default Merrill Armor with No Holes - Merrill has some random… holes in her outfit, and this covers them up with either chainmail or leather.
Varric Clothing Retex - For those of you deeply bothered by Varric’s chest, never fear! This covers up his chest, if you’d like that.
New Start Armor for Aveline - If anyone here isn’t too fond of Aveline’s start armor, especially in comparison to her other outfits, here’s a solution for that.
Edit: Natural Bodies - Give your girls some BODY HAIR. This adds leg hair, pubic hair, and armpit hair to your gals. Excellent.
Dragon Age: Inquisition:
Morrigan Outfit Retexture - It’s been 10 years, and Morrigan still is wearing that same outfit? This retexture gives Morrigan some more covering clothes, bless it, while still keeping her iconic look.

I could sit here and complain how our mom liked Zuko more than me. But I don’t really care. My own mother… thought I was a monster… She was right of course, but it still hurt.

it’s amazing that this “”twist”” is so bad that people who have sworn off the show completely came back just to shout into the void
anyway amazing that the leader of the rebellion was a colonizer with a human zoo huh

What do you think of Vivienne's disapproval of the mages' vote to rebel? To me, I was always playing through the eyes of a vashoth warrior merc, but I know I could've gone through a lot of hell if my parents hadn't rebelled against their abusers.I think a lot of humans in the game live pretty cushy lives, and Vivienne by far is pretty fucking cushy. To me, she had no right or reason to disapprove of the mages asking for freedom. Everyone should be able to take that stance at any time.
I was always under the impression that Vivienne was more disapproving of the chaos that came from the mages leaving than the actual vote to rebel, which she disapproved of because it was her fear. To be clear I don’t agree with her, as I’ve said before, but I feel for her and do see her side. I see Vivienne as being what Wynne puts off as being. Unlike Wynne, Vivienne is actually doing shit. Wynne’s idea of getting more freedoms for mages is by being good subordinates, (which has never worked in the history of ever,) whereas Vivienne works to improve the opinion of mages on a political scale.
Anyway, back on track: I’m not a huge fan of the banter between Viv and Cole because it’s really invasive and I feel like there are so much better ways to share things like that to players than having it unwillingly ripped from a character’s head, much to the character’s obvious discomfort/hurt, but nonetheless there’s a lot of banter that is very revealing of what Vivienne is thinking:
Cole: A sour smell in the Tower library, rotten meat and ashes. Too quiet without the apprentices. Something crunches underfoot. Burned finger bones glitter in the ash like pearls. Ice in my veins. The archivist… what was her name?Vivienne: Get. Out.Cole: Why did they kill her? She was just like them!Vivienne: They “helped” her. Just like you did. Anyone who wouldn’t fight for freedom was “freed” by fire and lightning. Stay out of my thoughts demon. My memories are my own.
Also re: Vivienne having a cushy life: She has freedoms than most mages, yes, and she worked hard for it, (with the help of a tad bit of luck too.) And even still she has to put up with assholes who can’t stand to see her have anything nice, from people making racist comments about her in court to sending assassins.
