big life update!!

my fiancé and i finally moved into our own place about a week ago, and unfortunately we don’t have wifi yet. once that changes, though, i’m planning on finally updating all my WIPs!

my family home hadn’t been the most… conducive for writing. it was loud and i got interrupted often. this space is open and quiet and im right next to a coffee shop where i can get some liquid inspiration 👀✨

i am so, so deeply sorry for the unintentional hiatus i went on; it was hard house hunting, job hunting, and it severely nerfed my creative drive 🥺 having a peaceful space of my own to create as i please, with only one other soul in the space, is going to help a lot!

i am deeply sorry for lapses in posting, there’s been a lot going on!

as a little summary, i was unemployed until mid-april and ended up being let go without warning last week, so while i’m not busy with work now, i am busy job hunting 😅

i’ve been intending to write more again, and im going to set some time aside tomorrow to do just that! thank you for your patience! 💙

i’ll be honest that my mental health hasn’t been the best the last several weeks; namely my anxiety, so i haven’t been writing as much as i want. i have been finding the energy to write for my biggest comfort ship though! and i even saved the 30 day writing challenge for them, though i missed day 1 so i’d have to churn out two of them today

either way, it’s spideypool (with ps4 peter parker, so he is absolutely an adult. i will only ever write adult peter) and in these trying times they give me seratonin, so

DANGER OF EVICTION & DEPORTATION I am Jah (blackbaberevolution or blackboyrevolution), I am an bi nb Jamaican immigrant on a student permit living in the Bahamas (once was undocument in America) because of my status, I am unable to work legally, or have a bank account, and must stay in school to stay in the country. My controlling abusive mother cut me off recently because she’s a ultra christian bigot and found out I was having sex with a guy behind her back (i’m 23). She’s not paying for my school (despite me maintaining a 3.50+ Gpa), and threatened to kick me out. Though I have places to stay I need money for food, transportation and to pay for the minimum amount of classes to stay in the country. some news!! i got a tablet with a keyboard for christmas (it came in today) and with it, i plan on getting back into the groove of writing more! i use google docs for writing (since it autosaves and i can access it on different devices) so im very excited to be able to start doing it again since i dont always have the energy to use my laptop^^

i was busy the last nearly week, as my partner came home for their thanksgiving break and i’ve been battling what’s been trying to turn into a sinus infection 😬
