OCtober day 6: past

thought I would focus on Maurice for this one!! my favourite vampire!!! a more all-encompassing explanation of his background can be found here (which only reminds me of how much I need to update the art on my artfight) but basically his ‘turning’ into a vampire was entirely voluntary and in fact begged for by him.

sometimes when he looks in the mirror and sees the scars of all of the bite marks he begged his ex lover for he feels great shame. and then he remembers how much he loved it at the time and how much he cherished each one as ‘proof’ of the other man’s love and he feels even deeper shame!! 1868 doodle shows maurice remembering the infatuation of his twenty one year old self with great regret.

he is happier these days though (as can be seen in the 1870s doodle). he is loved properly🫡🫡 thank god for esthelier

not at all! you are free to participate with any medium that suits you... writing, artwork, free bases and templates, simple text posts, in-character-as-your-oc roleplay, whatever! (just no stealing or AI)

do i have to make new content?

nope! re-uploading old stuff that fits the prompts is allowed (and encouraged) ... old art that didn't get the appreciation it needed always deserves a chance to be shared again, it's a fun throwback!

do i have to post every day?

nope! only 10 days are mandatory (the ones in red with a star symbol) and everything else (yellow) is 100% optional! if you're busy or tired, please skip as many as you want

can i start early?
