well she didn't disappear exactly, but she quit randomly and now i'm sort of shit out of luck when it comes to a co-host. but true crime is not really my jam, the vibes are too dark. i like to keep things light and fun.
are you looking for a new gig? or is like...bartending your career goal?
your co-host just... disappeared? i don't know, sounds kind of sus, my guy. my gut instinct is telling me i don't want to be next, but, hey, i wish you luck with your pivot into the true crime genre.

i think i've been the victim of a ghosting. workwise, so i guess my pod is looking for a new co-host, if you're big into pop culture and want to yap about it once a week and get paid - hit me up. if not, please instruct me on how i can take this tragedy and milk it for clout. i want a billion followers by the end of the month. (wrong answers only)

maybe it was a warning. i definitely shouldn't go over to her house tonight...right? unless?? i mean she was really pretty...
...i think i'm going to risk it.
maybe? i dunno. i don't think she was trying to get out of it, but i'm still kind of hung up on and concerned about the whole sex slave dungeon thing! is she okay? do those sims need our help to get them out of there?!

you were a teacher? i couldn't do that. mostly because my reading is shit on account of my disability, but other reasons too.
see, now this has me wanting to try the sims out again.
As much as I loved teaching, getting to play D&D for a living is actually the best.
I know you can become an intern to the Grim Reaper so I assume you can then become one, haven't played enough to find out.

i don't think you've ever lived with babies. they cry a lot. for like 4 years. trust me i had twins for little siblings and i spent all my teens as their main caretaker.
very true, however they are very boring in game and in the game i feel like they cry way more then they do in real life, however they are only a baby for a few days in game and if you have it on fast life then its not long at all.

i mean, do you speak for all women? or even the majority of them? i have my sources. reliable ones.
Speaking as a girl who occasionally plays the Sims, I can tell you with certainty that's not how we all play it. Personally, I tend to make a one-woman family and tell myself I'm gonna build up her whole life from the ground up with a minimum wage job, eventually get her into a slow burn romance, etc etc. But usually I get bored within the first hour and end up hitting motherlode, moving her into the nicest house and getting her wifed off within the next thirty minutes. Then I get even more bored and don't play again for another six months. Definitely no sex slave dungeon or babies, though... Where are you finding your info?

plus the beast was hot.
the "man vs the bear" thing means that women would rather be alone in the woods with a bear than with a man because at least the bear is predictable in its behaviour. think of it like beauty in the beast — belle chose the beast over the entitled and creepy small town white guy gaston, because she felt safer with the beast. i have no idea if that would lead to them putting a bunch of guys in a dungeon, though. maybe it just gives them that same sort of thrill people feel when they're watching a violent movie or horror. either way, it's... interesting.

yeah, i'm a streamer! it just started as a hobby honestly, but somehow i'm doing this as a living which still blows my mind. ahh, not a big fan of germs huh? i used to be like that, before my little siblings were born. babies are honestly so gross.
twitch, the streaming platform? you have quite an audience on there, it seems. that must be cool. my anxiety could never be watched by that many people. thank you! i think it's perfectly reasonable - and oh my god, ew, washing dishes in the bathroom sink??? every time they do that, it makes me want to burn the house down after i painstakingly built it. it's awful. even though they're pixels, i still think about the germs. i'm so glad you understand!

i knew this was going to lead to this. but, wait. you did what? do you have a sim of me? are we married? we better be married. i'll be your paint goblin.
awe, you want our simselfs to live together for eternity. romantic.
oh sweet, beautiful sammy, this is a game we can totally play together! i once made a sim of my ex, locked him a basement and forced him to paint sad art forever. so much cuter than therapy.
we should create sims of ourselves, turn them into vampires (so we can sparkle obvs) and flirt with the grim reaper 👏

you're absolutely right, and that's on me. but i am curious... i mean i love women who can and lowkey want to kill me, so consider this a personal passion of mine.
listen, troutyfm. everyone has their hobbies, their twisted secrets and the things they do for funsies. do you really need to be scrutinising our girly hobbies or casting judgement like that? what are you, the sims pope? let us have our nice things in peace, why don't you? - and no, you can't use any of my words as quotes for your thesis, in case you were wondering.

how does a taylor swift eras challenge work? can you explain that to me? maybe the torture is their way of feeling in control? that could be a thing? i don't know, i'm not a scientist.
oh man, i miss rollercoaster tycoon bad! i loved that game as a kid.
Okay-- so, in full disclosure, I love playing the Sims. And my favorite way to play is the Taylor Swift Eras Challenge, to probably no one's surprise. But these challenges seem kind of... unhinged? I feel like forcing a Sim to give birth one hundred times is actual torture.
But then again, I wasn't one to free the lions in Zoo Tycoon, or send rollercoasters on unfinished track in Rollercoaster Tycoon, so what do I know...?

this is what i'm saying blaine. it's...wow. very disturbing? i love scary girls as much as the next guy, but i was a little...surprised to say the very very most. maybe this is a "man vs the bear" moment? ngl i don't really know what that means.
i'm sorry, they do what now?! i mean, i've heard about the hundred babies (which is wild) and i've also heard some very disturbing stories about a baby grill. plus, there’s the classic pool ladder deletion murder method, of course. but a dungeon full of sex slaves? that's definitely a new one. i don't mean to judge but... are they okay?

i think that's just...babies. in game and not. but i get where you're coming from. babies are generally more boring than other types of humans. they're so cute though.
i guess if you've had the game for a long time, this is a way to spice it up...
I have never done this and I do love the sims, however it is a challenge that people do. I don't really know why? I cant stand the babies in the game they are very needy, prefer when they grow up.
I think it is a way to make the game more interesting for people.

sims have lives too!! i'm not a huge mobile gamer myself though, too many notifications, it messes with my dyslexia. well i guess it might just be that one girl. but she made it seem like this is a universal thing...

One time I tried playing the sims on my phone but then the whole app kept getting mad at me for not paying enough attention to them, it wanted me on 24/7. But it was way better than doing homework after football practice. But uh, are we talking about all girls? Or just like a few that you've met?

oh for sure, i never expected to make a living out of my hobbies, it's such an unexpected blessing so i totally get that.
wait? you can become the grim reaper in the game now? well now i have to see this.
I wasn't expecting it to take off the way it has over the last few years. But I'm glad it has, made my life far more interesting. Oh, that's cool, I'll have to look into that.
I do like that some of the newest stuff includes being able to eventually become a Grim Reaper.
