nowhere in the original thread did i say to not vote or to not vote for biden or to not vote for the democrats, that is not what any of that was about. i have also never said that changing the system is a quick and easy thing, i have talked about this numerous times at length, and it's specifically WHY i want to get people to start trying to imagine a brigther future, you need to actually be fighting for SOMETHING. fight in small steps, and fight together and we can slowly change the world. expecting a single protest or action to change everything and then not knowing what to do with yourself after is why so many activists burn out, but if we see it as a process and work towards it together we will get far. especially if we already live the things we can live, such as community, with things like mutual aid, cooking for each other, sharing, anything really. its not just the frontline that matters, it's about slowly building up the society we want to live it, not just destroying the things we hate.
