We used AI to produce a video that provides a glimpse into a night out at the legendary house music venue that was Sir Henry's Night Club in Cork, Ireland.

The video, just over a minute long, features AI-animated photographs of clubbers and DJs taken in the 1990's and 2000's during the club’s heyday. (It closed down in 2003).

Alongside the animated photographs are video clips created by AI software after it was asked to imagine a Saturday night in the club in the 1990’s, long before taking photos at every social event was commonplace.

Sir Henry's played host to world-renowned DJs, some of whom feature in the video, including Boo Williams, Kerri Chandler along with Irish duo Shane Johnson and Greg Dowling aka Fish Go Deep who founded the legendary 'Sweat' night in 1988.

AI Generated Toyota Commercial "Toyota Yaris Cross - More Power To You"

As we continue exploring how AI can fit into our workflows, we created a 30' spec-commercial for the Toyota Yaris Cross, Ireland's best-selling family car.

The commercial "Toyota Yaris Cross - More Power To You" was written and directed/prompted by Traolach Risteárd Ó Murchú and made using Moonvalley, the newest AI Video Generator on the scene.

The technology illustrates the potential for concept-development and hints at what the future might hold for AI-use in commercials.

Moonvallley is led by the former head of growth at @zapier and backed by @ycombinator and others

The commercial was made with @toyota and @toyota_ireland in mind.

We're delighted that our AI-generated short film 'Another Life Somewhere' has been selected for the Cork International Film Festival 2023 taking place from November 9th to 26th.

"In a hyper-surreal space between this world and another, strangers meet to figure out where they are going."

The film (the first of its kind to ever be included in the festival's program) is written and directed by Traolach Ó Murchú who worked with Runway ML's image generator to produce the images.

Produced beginning-to-end in the Irish language on the Gaeltacht island of Cape Clear, the commercial brings together three things the island is known for: birdwatching, beauty and a tragic abundance of vacant houses.
