So, while this next idea would be ideally used in the DC Animated Movie Universe, it could work in a new continuity (though, damn do I wish otherwise. lol); nevertheless, it doesn't rely so much on established DCAMU canon as my earlier hoped for projects.
*The Idea*
I think the Titans would have a Christmas break, whenever there wasn't a major threat to address, anyway. I believe Bruce Wayne would invite Damian's new teammates to Wayne Manor, if they had nowhere else to go, plus he understood it was healthy for his son's emotional development and well-being. I think this was a basis for quite a few fanfics, so even though I thought of it before seeing them, I give credit to those who beat me to the punch and with actually comprehensive detail. aha
Raven would go, as she has no other home, and Beast Boy would tag along for fun, to be the little brother who - while a valued friend - would sometimes fail to read the room, so would interrupt what should be more intimate social outings. That lovable rascal. haha. And he'd mess up Alfred's kitchen trying to cook something vegetarian even though he can't prepare food himself yet; might be a fun character moment to have Damian prepare the food for everyone, to be one of those surprise skills that still make sense. Maybe add other Titans, but I don't know, just those three at minimum.
The primary threat would be Scarecrow, since he would be one of the most dangerous Gotham supervillains for them, especially Raven because her emotion-based powers would be violently disrupted by his fear toxin, and more simply his psychiatric expertise; similarly, her empath power would become agony as Scarecrow spreads fear throughout thousands of people, with all that fear crushing her. Hence, why Damian would be vital for her as he is someone who can control his terror better than most, so he could talk her down to focus only on his bravery, rather than on everyone else's fear.
On a tangent, I think Crane would have employed Killer Croc as muscle, who would serve as Beast Boy's rival in the story. Maybe even build a bit of a bond as worthy enemies through mutual understanding about being outcasts due to a condition they can't change.
I feel like a good element for the climax would be a reversal of Damian helping Raven, when Scarecrow's fear toxin actually works on Damian, so Raven can help him keep his sanity with fortitude she had thanks to the support he gave her earlier. What would Damian fear? It could be knowledge about being planned as just a weapon, but I doubt that would bother him yet. Fear of failure? I think his confidence was unflappable at this point. I believe the fear would likely be losing Raven, thus her being there would challenge and help him overcome that fear.
*Closing*
Not sure how the entire plot would pan out, but I'm an ideas person, the structure is done better by others. Still, it feels like it has potential as a baseline. Simply wanted to put this out ASAP while I thought of it.
Anyway, I'm a sucker for a half-decent pun, so the film would be called something like "The Knightmare Before Christmas." It'd be a nice bookend for the teammates to watch the name's inspiration at the start and end in one of the Wayne screening rooms. Might be a legal issue, but I've seen cross-company cooperation before for more than this.
Damian: I'm not afraid of anything.
Raven: I didn't see it as much as felt it, and I've been trying to shake it off ever since.
Scarecrow: Fear reveals the truth.

This is brilliant for 4 main reasons: 1.) The picture in general. 2.) This song just randomly came to my mind the other day, which then made me realise how perfect it was for them, so I'm pleased to see it used for them. 3.) Integrates Damian's penchant for art that I don't think happened before it was too late to be added to the DCAMU (I think, could be wrong). Regardless, he only draws what he finds fascinating and/or loves, with Raven falling into both categories. 4.) His drawings! One of Raven in action (something most people would see of her), but the other two - one relaxing with presumably tea (which only friends would witness) and the one of her unguarded with a gentle expression for a gentle breeze, with her eyes showing love (something for Damian alone). I don't know if I read too much into any of that, but hey, that's the beauty of art: to inspire the mind and soul to see deeper layers than intended.

Yes, I've seen Batman vs. Robin and read the comic version, and I think both are really good; the film is different from the original, but it is an adaptation, so changes are inevitable - also, I think it is a solid example of how two versions of the same general idea can co-exist and be distinct to explore individually. Incidentally, the fights were amazing; in general, the fight choreography in the DCAMU is among the best you can see in any superhero material.
I understand they had to limit the Robin count to just Dick and Damian because there just wasn't time to flesh out all of them properly; but even with shorter time, I concur the filmmakers should have been clear that Kate was Bruce's cousin (I suppose it was implied by the fact that she met Dick when they were both children as their parent took them to fancy rich parties that one would need to be wealthy to attend; nevertheless, it is something that should have come out of the subtext into text at least a little). Fitting in my idea of unexplored potential, I think they maybe should have combined Jason Todd and Tim Drake, like they did in the DCAU, which would further explain Bruce's initial reluctance for Damian to become the new Robin, beyond the inherent danger. I feel like they were at least going to introduce Cassandra Cain at some point, but they were forced to end things before they could (and seriously, wouldn't it be sweet to see Damian get to be the big brother for a change? Both children of the League of Assassins, yet changed to become superheroes).
On another change, I know the changes to Hush were quite unpopular; personally, didn't both me a lot, although I do understand. Shifting it to Riddler alone essentially erases Tommy Elliot's relevance and making him merely a plot device. I think it might get credit for being unexpected, since newcomers wouldn't see it coming and people familiar with the comics would be expecting something else entirely, therefore both would be surprised.
I would do two changes to the Hush film: add occasional flashbacks to Bruce and Tommy as kids, so we can understand the depth of their friendship (it doesn't need to be a lot. In Batman: Arkham Shadow, there were only 5-10 minutes of Bruce and Harvey Dent's past together shown, and it managed to be engaging and heart-warming, and gave a comprehensive sense of their bond, which reinforced the eventual heart-breaking fall of Harvey); and second, I would've made Tommy an active participant in the scheme - at the end after Riddler's death, have Tommy in the distance, out of sight, and make a wry remark like "Don't worry, Bruce; you won't have to mourn me much longer. Poor, pathetic Riddler. Couldn't keep his mouth shut long enough to... hush." With the dead body in the alley and later factory being one Tommy altered due to being a master surgeon; thus, setting up the Heart of Hush adaptation.

Sorry to use screencaps for attention, but hey, if you don't like the words, the images are still brilliant and beautiful.
Anyway, it's half a decade since Apokolips War, which was quite divisive, and I understand why. It went hard on the misery and loss angle, then ended on the ultimate downer ending where the heroes win, but they still lost.
*Aside*
Has the antagonist winning in the first part of the narrative, him being defeated in the finale, but even the triumph involved significant loss; the filmmakers wanted to mirror The Flashpoint Paradox, since it had the mutilation and deaths of many until a complete erasure of the universe.
Pardon this self-indulgent tangent, I would have split AW into two movies; first film of the final Apokolips War being the initial preparation and invasion of Apokolips, maybe some other subplots too, then ending with the Paradoom decimation, and part two being most of the movie as it was, if expanded to fill time lost by dividing. Also, solve the last problem with magic instead - Constantine could use a forbidden spell to restore the universe, which would still piss off the Spectre, thus carrying him into the Tomorrowverse (although, I do understand the thematic symmetry with a universe that began with a Flashpoint, ending with one).
*Main subject*
Despite Apokolips War perhaps being too grim and maybe gratuitous with the violence, overall it was generally exceptional, with it closing numerous plot threads of the DC Animated Movie Universe (albeit, some probably warranted further development), however, I'm probably obligated to love it in some ways as it had the culmination of the relationship between Damian Wayne and Raven, which was the most unexpected, yet most enthralling and best developed.
Yet I think there was an issue inherent in Apokolips War, that is it ended the DCAMU when there was still so much potential to explore. I'm pretty good at creating ideas, but not that great at developing them. That said, I had a bunch of possibilities that may or may not have been good to explore. There were more details in the following, but I've cut it back to minimum to be mostly relevant to our power couple, individually or together.
Teen Titans film with Starfire as lead. Invited by Blackfire to Tamaran. Seem to reconnect, but Blackfire was setting her up as trade/hostage/something to villains. Starfire and Blackfire have a final fight that echoes times from their childhood training, then the coup, but this one ends with Starfire reluctantly delivering a killing blow. Donna Troy, Bumblebee, and particularly Raven would be involved as Starfire realises that her Titan team mates were her true sisters - cheesy, but a nice way to further portray their bonds.
Batman film. Primary plot a gang war triggered by Black Mask. Lady Shiva observes in background, but then approaches Robin to request that he take command of the League of Assassins. He refuses, but she countered it was his birthright more than Gotham, yet respected his decision, while noting she will wait and ask again later.
Teen Titans vs. Terror Titans (or new HIVE? Bring in Slade's ex-wife) Maybe one member in the villain group knew Damian when they were both young, and she expressed romantic interest in him to his confusion and Raven's jealousy. I know the jelly love interest thing can be cliche, but I think it'd be fun to explore that side of her, especially if she is eventually reassured by Damian who doesn't realise the issue the entire time.
Teen Titans/Justice League Dark film. I think a way to further justify Raven's contempt for Constantine in AW would be due to this film in which Zatanna takes Raven as an apprentice. Few Titans tag along, including Robin, Starfire, and Beast Boy. Main villain necromancer - or at least serving the main villain. Anyway, dead people from the heroes' pasts are brought to fight and undermine them. Beast Boy would obviously face Terra. Starfire would face Blackfire. Robin would face Talia, Deathstroke, Heretic, and Ra's al Ghul - which the necromancer/villain would taunt him about bringing death where ever he went (which would ultimately be a factor that kept Robin from confessing his feelings to Raven at the end of this film and start of Apokolips War); Raven herself would face Arella and the people of Azarath, aggravating her earlier guilt again. Zatanna would face her father, but she overcomes her insecurity and beats the necromancer, which made the undead thralls regain control of themselves; while some will remain bitter like Deathstroke and Blackfire, some like Talia, Arella, and Terra would absolve their loved one of fault for their deaths and/or soured relationships (I know having Talia slightly redeemed would be odd considering how evil she became, however, I felt like it was a weirdly unaddressed fact that despite her original moral ambiguity, she wasn't such a monster until Bad Blood, which I think was due to the Lazarus Pit, thus it'd be nice to give Damian some more positive closure with his mother; hell, could throw in a cute detail of her expressing approval for Raven as worthy of her son). Perhaps a twist of Deathstroke not actually being dead, rather simply allied with the main villain for another shot at revenge against Damian and Nightwing too later. During battles in the film, Raven's chakra prison holding Trigon would begin to weaken, thus setting up that struggle in Apokolips War, so it doesn't seem so abrupt.
I have a few more, but that's just some basic ideas that I think would have been enjoyable to explore. Maybe someone could be inspired, if not take these ideas and make them into something better.
Raven: I guess neither of our lives are very funny. But I'll tell you something about yourself that not even you may know: you may be insufferable, but in your heart, you are a kind and generous soul.
Raven: Unfortunately, this is my home. I have to watch him. Damian: It's not your home. Home is the place where... when you have to go there, they have to take you in.
Raven: You probably think I'm weak. Damian: Raven, you're one of the strongest people I know.
Damian: When I asked you to join me in leading the League of Assassins, I wasn't doing it because you're a good fighter. I... I had feelings for you. If you didn't, you made the right decision. Raven: It wasn't that at all! I left because my father wants to kill you. After everything, I couldn't risk that.
Damian: Remember, father: justice, not vengeance. Save them. Save her.
Damian: You brought me back. Raven: I had to take the chance.

Preface by saying I appreciate the positive feedback form the comments and even the simple like or heart or whatever it is called here. I'm glad it was enjoyable, but more that there is agreement about the potential left unexplored.
Hopefully this posts. I've had an account here for years but never used it because I couldn't understand the UI. haha. However, feeling nostalgic for the 5 year anniversary of the end of the DCAMU, posted my potential film ideas, if largely for shipping. Anyway, fingers crossed this works....
It's unlikely, yet I hope they bring back the DCAMU; I mean, more unlikely things have happened, right? While opinion seems mixed, at least there was that DCAU-set Justice League vs. the Fatal Five movie, which was over a a decade later. and was fun if just for a reunion of the primary DCAU cast, so it isn't impossible.
Anyway, you've inspired a potential idea by doing a remake of Bad Blood. It'll need a longer running time for all the character stuff, but it's necessary. So, I think the main antagonist would actually be Nyssa Raatko - suddenly appearing siblings can be contrived, but hey, that's how it goes in comics. lol. There could a reason for her absence that Ra's exiled her, so she stayed out of the League civil war, only afterwards joining the winning side.
Anyway, we'll see Talia struggle with both the influences from the Lazarus Pit and her more extremist sister who holds Ra's al Ghul's death over Talia at times; the pull of the Lazarus would take the form of Ra's who continued to encourage Talia to fulfill her destiny as his successor (while ghosts are real, he was not really a ghost, rather the darkest part of her subconscious fed and manifested by Lazarus... though, this is optional, and it may be best to keep it more subtle?).
There is a thematic parallel between Talia and Kate Kane too, as they have/had sisters and carry guilt from a dead family member, and have romances disrupted by their ambitions; Kate would also have a mirror with Nyssa, as both had dark periods of their lives that they are now struggling to overcome by "saving the world."
Talia would be uncomfortable around Heretic, yet also act motherly because she misses Damian - knowing she can't bring him back because she doesn't want her son's soul darkened like she feels hers becoming.
Also, add a subplot that has Heretic displaying signs of illness occasionally, to pay off later.
Heretic still kidnapped Robin, and he would condemn his genetic origin for choosing Batman over the League of the Assassins - "You could've had the world, brother." The abduction would anger Talia, but more on her son's behalf, rather than supervillain displeasure. The dispute wouldn't end with murder, but with Nyssa coming in and ordering them to stop it, and promised Heretic he could have Damian's memories once the plan succeeded, which leaves him further upset but still obedient. Damian looks at Talia for help, but she reluctantly leaves due to believing in her late father's goals, so opted to leave Damian bound as it'd be safest.
The general plot would continue the same as before with Batman being brainwashed and used as a soldier for the plan to take over the world. During the final fights, Talia finally succumbs to the Lazarus, thus we can keep most of the same fights, though with Nightwing fighting Batman and Talia, Robin would face Heretic, and Batwoman fighting Nyssa.
Eventually, the villains will have the advantage, with Nyssa tossing a gun to Batman to execute Nightwing. Keep that nice speech Dick had, then Batman struggles, and becomes desperate, aiming the gun at his own head like before. Nyssa aimed at Nightwing herself, allowing Batman the willpower to shoot the gun from her hand, and collapse like the original. Heretic would also collapse, freeing Robin, thus he can deliver that condemnation of how the sisters had distorted Ra's al Ghul's true mission.
Nyssa would have another gun to aim at Robin, as this happens, the Lazarus in Talia would weaken as her motherly instincts and love would break through; as she was closer to Robin, she throws herself over him, taking the bullet. In a rage, Heretic would hold up Nyssa by the throat, causing her to insult him as I think she would have repeatedly during their screen time together; I don't know if it should be mentioned, but it should be clear in subtext that Nyssa had been frequenting the Lazarus Pits herself in a bid to surpass her father, and it warped her mind as it does to all. So, Nyssa lacks the morality to withhold cruelty, even if her life was in danger, thus when Nyssa says something like "I should have expected such barbarism from the blood of my bitch of a sister," then Heretic snaps her neck.
Batman nurses Talia on his lap, knowing that she is about to die, yet can't do anything about it. "Do not mourn, beloved. I'm glad to see your true heart again." Damian would unmask and kneel next to her, struggling to express himself, which is - as we know - an issue he would continue to struggle with. Even so, Talia apologises to them both and tells Damian she is proud of him as she dies.
The Bat Family are startled as Heretic was still present, yet allow him to kneel next to Talia too; he removes his mask, revealing he had become elderly - thus showing the accelerated aging had never stopped, with the "illness" being him dealing with the pain of aging rapidly. Heretic would stroke Talia's face then tell Damian "You have the world, brother," then also dies, though from old age.
Could have a similar epilogue with Bruce comforting Damian in the manor garden, though alter Alfred's dialogue into something like how Talia was an exceptionally complicated person, even for exceptional people like her former lover and son.
A major theme in the original version was family - shown even in the pun in the title - however, I feel more than that, the primary theme was siblings. There is Kate still grieving for her sister Elizabeth, Damian and Dick still have tension as adopted brothers, and Damian holding a strange brotherhood with his clone Heretic, hence why it would have contributed to that by including Nyssa as the main antagonist to give a sibling arc to Talia, too. It would have also allowed an exploration of the complex relationship between Talia and Nyssa, as the latter resents her sister for being favoured, yet also needs to keep her around as to outdo her; Talia herself would also snap back at her sister at times, as was her nature, but mostly follow along due to aforementioned corruption from Lazarus.
So, that's how it'd start again, I hope. There are probably plenty of issues that need tweaking in my little fanfic, however, feels like an adequate way to remake this movie into something more interesting and with stronger motifs.
