Soooo, I have a blog, a tumblr, where I post the tiniest and shortest of 79 word stories. It's a passion of mine. Micro or nano fiction as some call it. While not as amazing as its trailer led us to believe, #manofsteel was a solid movie, which I think laid the ground work for actually amazing #superman movies, much in the same way #batman begins made it possible for #darkknight to happen. Most critics who didn't like #manofsteel thought it was too "grim" or "cold." Coming of age is generally a tumultuous and potentially grim time for regular people, so imagine how heavy it might be for the super-powered last man of a dead race torn between his new home and his old? Not everything needs comic relief to be fun, epic, or moving.
