Not only did I sign with a publisher who is very supportive of fanfiction, but I miss you guys.

Azalea Mortclaw, the battle-tested Crown Princess of Tyldon, has always known her future marriage would be for the welfare and prosperity of her kingdom. When his father is assassinated to bring about the resurrection of a monstrous army, he will do whatever his mother asks to protect their people.

Stormwielder and Golden Wolf must meet at the altar to secure an alliance between their rival nations in an impossible war. What happens when Nilos refuses to consummate their wedding night and robs Azalea of the only battle she has been assigned to wage- the political warfare of producing an heir? Can Azalea convince Nilos that the obligation to their people must take priority over his moral code? In a crisis of duty over honor, only love can stand firm in the battle against death and darkness.

Let's talk some changes that have been made converting Whitestars and Golden Wolves into The Wolf and the Whitestar

1: Names- Obviously this is the most expected change. From characters to cities and kingdoms, these had to occur.

Azalea hails from Tyldon, and Nilos hails from Zelarum. Jarret is Azalea's Bloodsworn knight, and Deidre is Nilos' witty and fiery favorite cousin.

2: Personalities- while I had already taken a few liberties in WaGW, I explored how those small changes would look in a world free of the Whoverse without fundamentally changing the characters.

A: In the rewrite, Azalea has not only seen war twice, she has commanded a battle. So, she approaches the marriage with the mindset of it being an emotional battlefield. She is more antagonistic, more resistant to his charms, and more closed off. It takes her much longer to reach the love stage, although the lust stage remains as originally written. This also makes her more conflicted in how she handles his treatment of her. She bites him, a lot.

B: Nilos' honor code and sense of morals are stronger and prouder than the fic. While he does begin falling for her almost immediately, his compassion and kindness often open him up to her spite and anger. His gentler nature and empathetic heart, however, expands further in the opposite direction. He does not like to kill, but he understands the necessity of it in war.

3: It is longer. I just reached the "return from sneaking out into town" scene, and I'm already at 34K words. So, the book will probably finish somewhere between 60-70k when I'm through. Some of the more rushed scenes from the fic are now in 2 separate chapters.

4: The 😈consummation scene😈 no longer takes place in the prince's study, and it no longer begins with her returning to the palace because of a fight with her knight. Let's just say, when our prince discovered his wife was missing, he decided to let his magic summon her back to his presence. 🌩️🌩️🌩️

5: There are some new intimacy scenes that I feel build their relationship at a better pace. Also, the spicy scenes are spicier than before.

Looking for my people!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone, it's me, your girl TimeLadyoftheSith.

I know a few people have heard already, but I wanted to come on here and make the announcement myself. Due to an influx of harassment on Ao3, TT, and IG, I had taken a pause on updating my WIPs. I did delete the main fic where most of the harassment was generating from. Sorry to those who loved From Spring Comes Death.

During that time, I was also made aware that my continued presence and active posting was one of the factors working against my pursuit of traditional publishing. While I have previously self-published, my career field that currently pays my mortgage and keeps food in the table for my son and me doesn't place the same level of respect on self-published works.

This means that I will be deleting my Ao3 account.

I wanted to give everyone time to save and download their faves before I did, so the deletion will occur in 3 weeks.

Thank you all for your continued support through the years. I will try to become more of a presence here on Tumblr in order to keep everyone updated with my continuing writing career.
