Could this really be possible?

She knew there had been scientists trying to create machines that could transport a person through time or to another part of the city, but the pull someone from their own world and place them into another seemed too far-fetched to be true. 

However, stepping out of the white room and into the street, it confirmed that what had been said was indeed true. But how could a culture that seemed less advanced than her own complete such an act. 

".............."

Her questions would have to wait, there was no point getting worked up about it until she knew more about the city itself. It seemed logical to find where she was meant to live first and go from there.

With that thought in mind, she began to walk, not knowing exactly where she was going, but determined to find what she was looking for none-the-less.
