Tsuzuru: I’m suddenly getting flashbacks to when Yuki used to call me Villager C… Anyway, I’ll give it a shot.

Tsuzuru: “...Phew, I made it through the graduation ceremony without any issues. These past three years really flew by.”

Tsuzuru: “If the Heroine confesses to our homeroom teacher and gets an OK, she should get a Safe Ending.”

Tsuzuru: “Well, she is pretty likable, so I’m sure she’ll get a Happy Ending.”

Tsuzuru: “Lately, we’ve been getting along so well… It’s kind of embarrassing to just watch from the sidelines as they smile at each other every time their eyes meet during class.”

Tsuzuru: “Jeez, I wish she’d think a little bit more about how Classmate A feels when he sees her so openly flirting with the Route Target without a care in the world.”

Tsuzuru: “Well, I’m just an NPC without a sprite or a name, so I doubt the Heroine even recognizes my existence in the first place.”

Tsuzuru: “Ah, the date written on the classroom chalkboard went back to April, three years ago.”

Tsuzuru: “Which probably means the Heroine is replaying this game again, and so the story rewound to the first day of school.”

Tsuzuru: “But she’s already finished the routes for the class representative, the transfer student, the delinquent, the club senpai, the student body president, and the hidden character, our homeroom teacher.”

Tsuzuru: “So, whose route is she even going to do next? Well, I’m just an NPC, so it’s none of my business…”

Tsuzuru: “...Wait, what? Why does it look like I’ve got a sprite now? And it seems like I’ve got a window with my name in it, too.”

Tsuzuru: “W-What’s the meaning of this? Has the Heroine been playing this game way too much and it’s somehow caused a weird bug?”

Tsuzuru: “Whoa, why is the Heroine getting closer all of a sudden…!?”

Tsuzuru: “N-Nice to meet you! Is there something you need from me?”

Tsuzuru: “What? We’ve lived next door to each other since we were kids, and now I’m acting distant all of a sudden, and you want to know what’s wrong…?”

Tsuzuru: “But I’ve never heard of that option before! Wait, are you telling me I’m the character whose route you’re going for this time!?”

Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.

Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.

you're one of my favorite writers so i wanted to tell you some moments from your fics that i think about a lot

For Tax Benefits: really loved the feeling of the whole fic and the ending especially but the moment that sticks with me the most is when itaru says “I’ll wait for you, then. As long as it takes.” because my heart skipped a beat there

getting out of hand (and in your hands): just... when itaru starts waxing poetics about tsuzuru's hand and dick <333

Prisoner of the Heart: THIS ONE I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT JUST CHOOSE ONE MOMENT FROM. THERE ARE MANY SCENES I AM ALWAYS VERY EXCITED TO REREAD. the ones I think about THE MOST though? merlin and lancelot's first kiss. lancelot's love confession and “And how does it feel to have fallen for a human?” (you have no idea what this line did to my heart... i had to pause to let things sink in and scream into my pillow many times throughout the fic but this just made me feel SO much...), "Until I'm breaking, knight" (that specific line was just very hot) and THE ENDING... which was all i could hope for while reading. absolute perfection. what a masterpiece.

give me one good honest kiss and i’ll be alright: the entire conversation leading up to the kiss and the kiss itself! also, fun fact, it was this fic that got me into tsuzuita

Knights of the Round: Advent: merlin telling lancelot his wish!!! loved that scene so much!!!!

Hot Veludo Dilfs in Your Area: I MEAN THE WHOLE THING HAD ME GIGGLING. reread many times.

True Love’s Kiss: itaru calling tsuzuru a homely village maiden and their whole banter surrounding the prince/princess theme. i love how you write their banter

Who the Hell is Writing RPF in Veludo Way!?: when itaru walks in and tsuzuru freaks out a little 😭

a prelude to spring: again, this is a fic where there are many scenes i could call my favorite but the first ones that come to mind that i really love and like to reread are that conversation they have when they're alone at the other side of the ship (especially tsuzuru giving itaru his jacket and "An award-winning scriptwriter thinks I’m super hot~"), when they're dancing together and itaru asks if they should kiss, when tsuzuru asked itaru "do you say to all the college students you date?" (again, love the banter), the almost kiss and tsuzuru deciding to step up his game at the end of the latest chapter<3

a skirt and a pair: oh this was just. extremely hot. and when itaru finally starts really touching tsuzuru? yeah.

in-between your love (and your legs): that whole conversation where they agree to date was a scene i liked SOOO much there was just something about it and. THE LOVE CONFESSION

I'm glad that even my more niche fics were included. I like to write for my own self-fulfillment (sometimes that's obvious lol) (funny enough, also a tzit theme lol) but whenever someone says they got into TsuzuIta because of my fics, I can't help but feel really happy and proud that I could portray them in a way that convinces others of their appeal. Especially with such a specific crossover AU I had ahaha. I'm glad that you like so many of my works ^^

And thank you for complimenting how I write banter and dialogue! It's always fun for me and I try my best to make it feel true to them! Both a prelude to spring and Prisoner of the Heart are personal favs and special to me, so it's nice to see they're both loved 😊

what happens in the backstage is that tsuzuru's worried he won't be able to write a good script because he doesn't play chess. that's when itaru recommends him a mobile chess app that he's been playing a lot lately that turns out to have a gacha element in it (you can roll for characters you use as your avatar, from what i've understood) and currently has a collab with a gambling anime itaru likes. tsuzuru rolls the character itaru wanted on his first free ten pull and itaru asks him if he'd like to switch accs but tsuzuru asks if he's sure he'd be okay with that, since tsuzuru's account is completely new and he hasn't done anything on it. so itaru eventually decides not to switch accs and starts trying to get the character on his account while tsuzuru starts playing. tsuzuru's struggling though so itaru decides to stop doing his pulls and offers to help tsuzuru instead. tsuzuru thanks him and asks him if he could just watch itaru play for a while. itaru doesn't win either then though since they encounter some super tough player so that's when homare shows up and helps tsuzuru win and tsuzuru helps both of them for their help.

what a cute backstage story! The mental image of Tsuzuru intently watching Itaru as he plays chess on his phone is really... 😳😳 oof... my heart...

Though, it's rare for Tsuzuru to be so lucky LMAO but I always like Itaru being excited to share a game with one of his troupe members, especially with the addition of Tsuzuru being conscious of Itaru's dedication to his games. Homare cameo is also a nice touch hehe

I could be wrong since I haven't read all the nuanced lines, but this backstage story feels a bit like those rare moments where Tsuzuru sees Itaru as a cool adult. It's very sweet. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙇💕

most niche tsuzuita playverse ship that crossed my mind was the hot tsuzuru frat boy npc from mankai stage's alex in wonderland and mad hatter. they might have never interacted but i saw the vision.

also not really playships but from playverse character x mankai character ships? itaru x merlin, itaru x tsurumatsu, tsuzuru x mad hatter, tsuzuru x lancelot

ooh I haven't thought of that one before, but I'm open to the vision 🧐👀

I actually quite like Lancelot/Tsuzuru! I had an isekai/universe swap fic idea for that ship for over a year now, but just never got around to it 😭 one day, probably... I do think they could be super cute though! Funny enough, I also talked about them in another ask before ahaha

All of those other playverse x mankai universe ships seem interesting too 🤔 I especially think Itaru and Tsurumatsu would be interesting to explore, given how Itaru encourages and validates Tsuzuru's writing within the canon

I did see from some JP fans that Itaru was in the backstage story for that card, but I'm very frugal with my gems, so I didn't pull for the card and read through it myself 😭😭

If there happens to be a translation or maybe a summary for the backstage, I'd be happy to see it ^^ But no need to go out of the way if there isn't one!

what are your favorite tsuzuita play ships?

ooh, I think I answered an ask like this a while ago, but my opinions have slightly shifted since then. Here's my original thoughts on their play ships! As of right now, I'm quite interested in:

Lancelot/Merlin number one babey ☝️ ‼️ The mortal enemies aspect is really interesting to me and I think they have a lot of potential for really cool interactions and stories together. I also have crazy headcanons about how they're bounded by fate lol. It would be tough for Liber to come up with a play pairing I'd like more than mercelot, but I have great hopes for their eventual lead play together 🙏

Boyd/Luke. Unexpectedly, I've grown to like this one a lot more over the years! I think the appeal lies in their respective loneliness and how they respond to it. To Boyd, Luke is his only companion, and then Luke goes to say he has no friends, to the point of breaking the law and making one. It must be a strange feeling, and one can only imagine how their dynamic is without all of Boyd's rude demeanor shielding his emotions.

Mercutio/Tybalt. Although it's a bit basic, I still love their tension and rivalry. Haven't gotten around to reading Act 13 yet, so I have no idea how or if their dynamic changed 🤔

Herman/Frederik. I'm, like, one of 3 people who care lmao, but I think it's super cute! I'm also a fan of royalty concepts in general.

Honestly, I'm a big fan of almost every Tsuzuita playverse ship, as well as some crossover play ships! These are just the ones currently on my mind the most. If there are any niche ones you thought of, I'd love to hear about it as well!
