What I love about the Pilot aesthetic is how like, they’re trying to be realistic but they’re not as good at it yet, so there’s this accidental “Puppet Show of Trains” look.

It’s cozy and unpretentious how it’s very recognizably models, like Postman Pat or Bagpuss.

Not that I need more ideas, but it gives me them…

So something I drew for the crack AU, based on an idea of Thomas having a scary dream about Timothy before fully meeting him.

Warning! ⚠️ There is blood and bright colours ahead!

I did the little split thing along with references to Thomas eventually getting possessed.

Timothy looks WAY, more scary here, but yeah. Here are both Thomas and Timothy in the crack au.

Something that started as a doodle and then turned into an actual art thing.

For Spirit Of Sodor, when Thomas got wrongfully sealed after being betrayed and blamed for something he didn't do. By his own friend (*cough* Diesel 10, welp before Diesel 10 even became Diesel 10).

This is before he ends up on Sodor and meets the others.

Warning! Bright lights ahead!

Yes, he flipped the bird. For good reason though.

The poor guy was basically in an empty, dark limbo for quite a bit till he ended up on Sodor.

I got inspired by the song "No Comeback" from the Starlight Express for Thomas's line here yelling in anger.

Britt Allcroft, creator of the Thomas and Friends TV show, has passed away. It's the beginning of the year and there's already a celebrity death. She brought joy to millions worldwide through Thomas, and transformed the little tank engine into the global icon that he is today. May she rest in peace.
