Tai better have a GOOD reason for not being in Vacuo where his daughters are.

I know some people have theorized already that he's looking after Beacon's relic, and tbh I kinda like that theory, but regardless of why I don't really see the big problem with him not being in Vacuo.

They're in the middle of a war right now. Vale is obviously not doing too hot at the moment and if all Tai is doing there is helping people pick up the pieces I don't see how that's a bad thing. Obviously Yang feels differently, and that might be a source of conflict in later volumes if, god fucking willing, we get new volumes, but I'm not gonna sit here and stoke the "is Tai a bad father" discussion.

He has reasons we don't know about; good, bad, justified or not. I don't feel like getting worked up over it when we just don't know what the story is cooking.
