I always pretty much assumed back when I was first playing ace attorney years ago that Maya became girlfriends with a few characters along the plot of the story? Ema, Regina, and through unseen (but absolutely canon in my heart) gametime, Kay - Maya just has many loving sweet girlfriends! She really loves them and hey, most of them do actually meet each other in-game! They love each other too!

Shi-Long just doesn't get it at first - every relationship they try out with one partner is good, but it's, missing something. Because there's so much more room in that heart to devote to others, to people they love just as much as their one partner. But Shi-Long is all about communication with these types of things. That's the Way of the Pack. When everyone talks it out and gets in the swing of it, there's not a stronger polyamorous pack out there than this one.

Edgeworth is homoromantic demisexual (but doesn't know it, he thinks he's just gay). Contrary to what some might think he's had past relationships, but they never ended well- he always thought that because he didn't want to have sex with his partners it meant he didn't love them, so he'd break up with them- but he did, and it hurt him a lot. This caused him to distance himself even further from everyone. Him and Phoenix have it sorted now, though.

Klavier is very flirtatious, but he hardly ever means anything by it- he's grey aro/ace. When he does fall for someone he falls HARD, and it usually takes him completely by surprise.

daryan was pretty sure he was bisexual by age 14 or so before he ever met klavier, but klavier was the first guy he actually did anything with. klavier sometimes joked about having 'converted' him and it kind of pissed daryan off. yeah sure klav, my entire orientation changed just for you, because you're just so freakin irresistible, whatever (then they fought. then they made out. they were not experts at healthy relationship conflict resolution.)

Apollo and Klavier dating in secret (so their bosses don't find out) only to go out one night and get sat next to Phoenix and Miles. Needless to say, it was an interesting way to come out
