Just a boy who has no idea what he's doing with his life. This blog is mostly a strange mix of emotional tv shows, weird movies, and other generally embarrassing things.
Some things I need tagged
hey folks! glad you’re enjoying the show. writing for season two is more than halfway done, which is pretty dang cool! so, hey, why not encourage y’all to donate? i have two places that are fairly easy to hit up…
ko-fi: one time donations! this is the one my mom uses to donate to the show, if my mom’s involvement makes or breaks it for you. if you are not my mom, i’ll mention ko-fi donors in the credits! anything helps.
patreon: monthly donations! y'all get previews and perks! patrons receive liner notes, pre-season previews, and bonus scripts! i’m also super willing to take requests for tier rewards–i’m new to this whole thing, so. yeah!
most of the funding for this show is coming out of pocket, at the moment–i have a part-time job, but i’m otherwise a full-time high school student. please help out the show, if you can, and if you can’t donate, please spread the word!
violet beach is a fiction podcast written by a gal called bee hyland. it’s a fiction show, vaguely within the genres of “sci-fi” and “dramadey,” but, like, who needs labels?
what’s it about? i’m glad you asked. it’s about a group of seven people in a maryland college town who happen to witness some weird happenings! and, unfortunately, they can’t really do anything about it, because they’re pretty far off from being the chosen ones.
if you’re into lgbtq representation? we got it. if you’re into prosey writing where the fuck word is still used? we got it. if you’re into metanarratives? we got it. but we’re not too in your face about it, which is nice.
season one is already out, and season two is coming out in the spring!
