I have a couple of questions for your AU with Barnacle and Shellington's pubs. First of all, is shellington trans or a girl? I noticed that the post you made talking about this doesn't really use gendered pronouns for Shellington. So I don't know if they are trans or if you gender ban them(I don't care either way, I would just like to know what pronouns I should use for Shellington)

Also, how did shellington and Barnacles find out that Shellington was pregnant? Were they surprised? Were they planning it? Also, how long did it take for Shellington to realize they were pregnant, cuz I'm going to be honest, unless they were trying, I feel like shellington could go months without realizing. Unless it has something to do with the thing that they're studying, they're not very absorbent

Answering your first question. Shellington is a female in my octonauts. I honestly didn't know what I was doing when I first got back into octonauts. But I just decided eh why not. There is no special reason why I did this. It just stuck to me.

Secondly it took a while for shellington to realize she was pregnant. It wasn't until a bump was forming. When the two realized they were having a family soon. Both were overjoyed. They did plan on having a family sometime after they got married but unsure when so it just happened after what they did a couple nights ago. 🫣🥴

Hope these helped. Honestly I would update more if I have more headcanons but for now this is what I got. Since as of rn I'm very busy and rarely have time to think atm.

Shellington wrapping the baby vegimals in bandages and trying to get them to float in the Bay Area because he had no idea how to take care of them, and barnacles just told him to “follow his instincts”, and Shellington’s instincts told him to wrap them up in kelp and groom them like otter pups, but he didn’t have any kelp so he just used peso’s bandages.

Also it turns out that vegimals don’t exactly float.
