Ay it's time for the pubs spotlight lol. Cause I've been wanting to do more octonauts related stuff but I've been gone a while and for private reason.

Anyways decided it be fun to draw the trio as they grew up u know time skip, cause I have lore. Ooooo ahhh. (Might go back and edit some things later)

As each of them grow up a lot changes.

Bently is still his same old fluffy silly lil baby otter of the trio. His fur thickens (since sea otters grow more fur/blubber to prevent them from freezing in cold waters. ) he wants to learn to be a medic, and is taking lessons/training with his uncle peso.

Saorise is growing up to be a beautiful young lady. She's slowly but yet getting used to her changes that go on. But non the less as long as she has her brothers she's still smooth sailing. Years going on she hasn't fully decided if she wants to be a Lieutenant like her uncle Kwazii or IT officer like her aunt Dahsi, but she's figuring herself out as she goes on different adventures with her dad.

From 16-18 Arctic was easy going until an incident happened and as time passed started to become unsure of himself and slowly turning away against his own family and crew. He was one day attacked by something or someone he didn't know. It scratched him by his neck where he was so close nearly suffocating by his own blood.

nothing's ever been the same since that one night Bentley and Saorise witnessed their older brother fighting with their father leading into a heated fight. Throwing claws against his own father.

Bently became a nervous wreck around his surroundings.

Saorise didn't know anymore what she was gonna do.

Octo-Pony Hours

just to clarify its inspired from g4 and is more rough exploration than final designs for some of them (some of these are a little old lol) i kinda have my own version of an mlp inspired universe in my head lol

idk what Peso is but I love him and he's very much a lil guy, I made Barnacles a caribou since I thought it fit better than yak lol. He has icy swirls on his antlers <3

I felt bat pony fit Kwazii best cuz yk, similarity to cats like the slit pupils and whatnot <3 you can't see it but his other wing is pretty torn, and I think he'd need a prosthetic to fly properly,which he only got a good one after joining the octonauts. Tweak is a deer, and I thought it'd fit cuz of the tail, ears, and how many deer live in the U.S.

Kelpie Shellington>:3 Scottish folklore need i say more <3 i didnt personally feel like the mlp comic design of kelpies fit him, so I basically just made a small water horse with a mossy back and kelp hair lol. Maybe he can absorb sunlight, fitting for the vegimals father

I wasn't quite sure which route to go for Dashi. My first thought was Earth pony, but the octonauts are really diverse and I wanted to show that yk? I really like the diamond dogs (there's alot more diamond dogs in the comic btw! They got such big paws for digging its adorable) And well she is a dog. But I did worry that it may feel odd (not because she's bipedal) because she may feel too close to her original design?

So I experimented with griffin Dashi as well, but I'm undecided as of now lol

Isome example of Kwaziis cutie mark, its meant to look like a sea map with the daggers he got when 12 in my au, the maps got some sea beasties, a simplified compass rose, an c on and island and, and what could be seen as a kraken- or the octopod. Its basically just meant to show his love of exploration and whatnot

I'm not sure if any of the others would have cutie marks, since they're not really ponies. If anyone else did, it's probably be Shellington, but even then he's really more of a horse than a pony so idk

They all do have magic inherent in them, but it typically displays as more nature/physical related abilities. -w-
