Warrior Cats x FNaF Crossover!!

•My brain has been rotting since seeing the fnaf movie so I decided to pick up this concept after shelving it for about a year!

•Okay, for context, this lil AU of sorts is heavily inspired by all of the Warrior cats MAPs to FNaF songs!!! I love them so much!!!! Another huge inspiration to me is bunnycat over on YouTube, they’re on Tumblr too, but I don’t know if it’ll automatically tag them if I type their username…I don’t want to accidentally ping anyone- I’m so sorry, I don’t know how the ins and outs of tumblr… >_<

•Characters here are warrior kitties following the story of FNaF! I can’t decide if these fellas should be anthropomorphic or feral, so I have concepts for both, let me know if you have a preference! :3

TLDR: I love both franchises so here’s the two of them together!

My favorite silly 🥺 Both Mike and Ivy are my favorites in their respective franchises I love these guys!

Extra bit: fun fact, I have so many ideas for fnaf x warriors that I have several designs for such crossover, so tldr, there’s another sheet of doodles of Ivypool for a possible pmv to “I can’t fix you” by the Living Tombstone if you’re interested! I don’t think I’ll ever get around to actually animating the pmv but it’s fun to imagine and storyboard!

Inktober Week 2! And an Update!

I’m sorry for not posting last week’s drawings, schoolwork started ramping up and I tried my best to catch up with the drawings I missed. I don’t know if I’ll be continuing Inktober this year because I’m over a week behind, but I still enjoyed every second of it! :) here’s week two’s drawings!

Day 8! I believe there’s a toad/frog in Deep Well but I’m not certain.

Day 9! Young Kel and Aubrey goofing off on the swingset! I remember always being too scared to jump off the swings when I was younger, but I think Kel would use it to challenge Aubrey. I kinda changed bounce into jump for this one.

Day 10! My paper kept ripping so Omori and Kel’s faces are messed up :’)

Day 11! I drew Stangers wandering Blackspace! I threw a filter over it because I thought it looked better.

I skipped day 12 because I didn’t know what to draw. Sorry! :(

My first week of Inktober (Omori edition)! Omori spoilers ahead!

Following the official prompts, Day one was “dream”! I drew two separate versions because I couldn’t decide which was better. The right picture was my attempt at combining Sunny’s bed and his dreams :)

Day two was spider!! Here’s the arachnophobia creature (sorry, I don’t know what this Something’s official name).

Day three! Path! I interpreted path as the different paths/routes within the game so I tried to include bits from every route! The flowers are for the universally loved achievement, the secret Basil cutscene after the good ending, Basil’s death, the tree stump and pinwheel, the car used when Sunny moves houses, the knife endings, etc… really happy with this one! It’s my favorite drawing from this week!

Day 4: dodge! I didn’t really know what to do for this one so here’s a sketch of Sunny and Kel fleeing from Aubrey, I wonder what they did to annoy her…

I tried drawing the map of Deeper Well for day 5 but my memory is very fuzzy, sorry! :(

Day 6 is golden! Here’s the golden child, Hero! He’s very fun to draw!

Here’s day 7: drip! I meant for this to be centered around the blood loss resulting from confronting Basil on one day left, but I kinda lost sight of the main focus…

omori au where headspace is the pokemon world from the 90s

[Omori spoilers ahead]

In this AU, the group was very into Pokemon as the games and anime were coming out in the US. So when Sunny escaped into his dream world, it manifested as the Kanto region as it was connected to the Johto* region with his own other areas sprinkled in. So only gen 1 and gen 2 Pokemon are around because that's all that was around when they were kids. And the gen 2 pokemon are new and cool and special.

*I know Johto is a stretch and there have been many discussions about dating when exactly Omori would've taken place, but for the sake of fun, I'm including some of Johto okay yay :3c.

On the day that Omori and his friends are to get their first Pokemon, Omori is late to Professor Oak's lab. All his friend's get the starters they want: Kel gets Squirtle, Aubrey gets Charmander, and Basil gets Bulbasaur. Luckily, there was one Pokemon left that Oak had on reserve: a gray eevee**.

**This is a situation where this is what a shiny eevee looks like, but Sunny doesn't know that. It just kind of matches his theme and if he evolves it, the evolution is also gray. When shinies are more of a thing that people who about widely, Sunny feels like he had a vision for the future haha

Hero and Kel are the grandsons of Professor Oak in this version of the Pokemon world. Hero does some research assistance while also studying to be a Pokemon Breeder a la Brock. Hero was given a Pikachu as his first Pokemon and it has evolved into a Raichu that is still his companion.

The gang sometimes travels together through the region. Omori never travels himself alone. They are all in a healthy competition over Pokedex completion, gym badges, and general adventure spirit. At the end of their days, they all stay at the PokeCenter where Mari works in the role of Nurse Joy. She always greets them with a smile and is eager to hear about their journeys or offer advice.

Aubrey and Kel are always trying to see who can get to the Pokemon Gyms in new towns first. Basil and Omori are more focused on trying to complete their PokeDexes. They have to encounter the usual struggles with Team Rocket as are present in the original Pokemon Red, Blue, Gold, and Silver games. Journey the SS Anne, hydrate the people working at the checkpoints into Saffron City, free Silph Co.

But as we know, things are darker in headspace than they may immediately seem. And sometimes those dark paths lead to full resets of the world.

It always starts the same: Omori wakes up late to getting his first Pokemon, he meets his friends at the Pokemon Lab. Omori receives an Eevee. The way the story goes is always different. Omori will evolve his eevee into different forms. They'll choose different fossils at Mt. Moon, they don't go on the SS Anne, they find the legendary birds, sometimes they join Team Rocket, sometimes they make it to the Johto region for a second leg of the quest. Sometimes they don't.

A few scenarios that take place in iterations of PokeHeadspace

Basil befriends and catches a clefairy that had wandered outside of Mt. Moon! He loves it and it follows him everywhere. The gang goes through Mt. Moon and lose Basil on their way through. But a Gengar starts following Sunny around and disappearing if he looks for too long. This Gengar is revealed to be Basil's clefairy. This Gengar always finds it's way in.

There's more oddish and nidoran around and they appear in more routes than in the actual games

Unown appear and spell things out for Omori. Things like "Mari" "Im sorry" "Liar" and "you did it" No one else can see them. He collects unown like the keyboard pieces and they unlock Black Space.

MissingNo takes the form of Something in this and the Gastly line are a part of that a little bit (shoutout to when Omocat drew Haunter from memory and made it's hands little Somethings on accident)

Omori takes a ride to Glitch City with MissingNo

Captain Spaceboy, Sweetheart, Humphrey, etc. are there sometimes because Sunny still has many varied interests and inspirations, Pokemon is just his main special interest in this one.

The plot in which Cubone's mom has been killed in Lavender Town is a plot in which Omori learns The Truth about Mari as he climbs Pokemon Tower with his friends. He ends up at the top alone confronted by SomethingNo and Stranger Gengar. Sunny wakes up and in the next dream, Pokemon Tower has been replaced by the Kanto Radio Tower

The Ruins of Alph are a fun place to go to see unown spell out horrible messages for Omori! The deeper he goes, the more Truth is revealed. Water starts to creep in until the ruins flood completely. Swim all the way does to the Abyss, if you dare! In many iterations of PokeHeadspace, the Ruins of Alph are completely inaccessible.

Cinnabar Island's Pokemon Mansion where Ditto are found as well as Origins of Mew are are uncovered actually serve to reveal The Truth to Omori. Dittos turn into hellmari and recreate Black Space imagery, etc. After this happens, the volcano on Cinnabar Island erupts -- as it had before the events of Gold & Silver -- and the Mansion is destroyed. The gym is relocated to the Seafoam Islands as in game.

Giovanni essentially takes the place of Jawsum and at one point when Omori enters the dream world, all of his friends are in Team Rocket now? Kel ropes Omori into convincing them all to leave-- but not before Kel and Aubrey have a Jessie and James moment (this one is just for me). Giovanni takes Hero under his wing and wants him to be the leader of Team Rocket. This proceeds an epic battle. In one iteration of this battle, Metal Mewtwo comes out and obliterates the party. This never happens after the first time.

Resets are often heralded by a legendary or mythical Pokemon -- Mewtwo, Mew, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Celebi-- emerging and an epic battle in which the team loses and during the next dream, the Pokemon journey is starting once more with edits made to the map.

Fun little plots happen sometimes where Hero, Aubrey, and Kel will all catch one Pokemon from a Trio (the legendary birds, the legendary beasts)

Pokemon aren't restricted to their canon colors. Why would they be in your imaginary world? Especially in pre-shiny times.

The Red Gyarados of Lake Rage is more epic and powerful in this AU than in the real Pokemon World.

The Kimona Girls of Ecruteak City are only encountered in the last iteration of PokeHeadspace (before The Truth is actually revealed) and much like the residents of Deeper Well, they tell Omori different truths about the world that he's in and what he's been hiding.

When entering Bellsprout Tower, you feel as though you're going up, but you are going deeper and lower into Deeper Well.

Pokemon for the gang

They don't always have all of these and sometimes they have different Pokemon! These are just the ones that keep circling in my brain. I'm wording a lot of these reasonings with child-like wording that I think would be akin to how a 12-year-old or younger Sunny would think about it.

Omori

Gray Eevee starter - normal type (neutral), the pokemon that the rival gets as a subtle nod to the cruel skill names that Omori gets. Matches Omori by not having color either. If it ever evolves, it stays gray.

Meowth - Mewo :3 His is black

Cubone - Sad lore that Sunny can relate to. Even after the Pokemon Tower is replaced with the Radio Tower, Omori allows Cubone to exist and hang out with him.

Abra - Abras are sleepy little babies that are very powerful and can distort perception. Feels right for Omori to have this line.

Drowzee - dreamer reference. This was in one of Omori's original parties, but after an iteration of PokeHeadspace where the Drowzee revealed The Truth, Drowzees became extinct :)

Smeargle - drawing buddy :) sometimes has moves that are kind of scary that it learns with the Sketch ability. Similar to what Omori gets in the game like "Mock" "Shun" and "Painful Truth"

Aubrey

Charmander starter - there are times where Aubrey and Kel switch starters, but usually Aubrey has Charmander because of the plot in the anime where there's an abandoned one that Ash adopts. It feels Aubrey-core.

Nidoran F - girl bun-bun... maybe she has a Nidoran M too... maybe it switches

Farfetch'd - he holds a bat just like her, imitating her in-game moveset

Butterfree - bug is strong against psychic (which Omori has. Even though Butterfree has little to none bug-type attack moves) also it's cute :)

Rhydon - headbutt!!! In-game moveset reference.

Primeape - anger issues and combative in the anime. They learn how to contain their rage together.

Jigglypuff - it's cute and pink and she loves it :)

Kel

Squirtle starter - Sometimes Aubrey and Kel switch starters but Kel usually has Squirtle because he is ball-like. Also inspired by the attitude of Squirtle in the anime as a little rebellious and gruff.

Geodude nicknamed Hector Jr. - Pluto ref + Pet rock Hector ref

Doduo - ball heads, best flying type for Kel if he has any. Also very fast.

Machoke nicknamed Pluto - WHEN I FLEX I FEEL MY BEST

Growlithe nicknamed Hector - Hector the dog ref

Electrode - this ball is the fastest pokemon in gen 1, I think Kel has to have it tbh

Heracross - beetle hunting memory

Basil

Bulbasaur starter - look me in the eye and tell me I'm wrong. This is heavily influenced by vines and the grass type swagger Basil has in the boss rush.

Clefairy - see above lore re: clefairy

Oddish - Sprout moles are essentially Oddish (Omocat said this in her drawing Pokemon from memory stream) and I just think they have a lot in common. Basil would love these things. Would probably have a Bellossom.

Tangela - Flower Crown ability from Basil Boss rush inspired this choice

Sunflora - Sunflower. You know.

Spinarak - Spider friend :) nothing is wrong

Hero

Raichu - Hero is so special and cool so he got a Pikachu as a starter and evolved it into a Raichu because that's even cooler than Pikachu

Nidoking - Giovanni gifts this to him.

Gyarados - he loved and cared for that magikarp so much it evolved into this awesome dude

Rapidash - beautiful and noble fire type. A steed for Hero. He should have a fire type to help with cooking.

Muk nicknamed Ems - reference to pixel artists Ems, namesake of Hero's hamster friend, having the favorite Pokemon Muk

Totodile - Mr. Jawsum reference. Hero gets a Johto starter because he's older and cool.

Mari

Chansey - like nurse Joy! Mari's a healer, she gets healer pokemon.

Togepi - like girl character Misty from the anime. Precious baby that doesn't have to battle :)

A few Faraway Town details about this

The original Pokemon games released when the friend group was all together, before Mari's death. They would watch the anime on Saturday mornings when the gang would have slumber parties. They watched a lot of the anime together and would rent the VHS tapes from the video rental store.

The group had at least one strategy guide that they all shared between them and they looked at the illustrations together.

Gold and Silver came out when Sunny had been keeping himself inside and he played Silver by himself.

He also watched Pokemon: The First Movie alone. His mommy rented it for him once.

Double battles have not been introduced in Pokemon at this point, but Sunny does dream of being able to have double battles with his friends sometimes because who didn't.

The gang isn't aware of shiny Pokemon because at this point, they were so rare and there weren't a lot of resources to make them aware of this. When Sunny plays Pokemon Silver, the red gyarados in Lake Rage is the coolest thing and has nightmares about it later.

I’ve had this sitting in my photo library since I read Mapleshade’s novella about two years ago, I’m glad to share it! You can see that I stopped working on the last page due to the lack of backgrounds and the snakes being drawn in red… I’m still really happy with it though! I hope you like it too!
