OK so Mark is the protagonist of Pokemon TCG for the gameboy, and also had his own pkmn special manga oneshot

here is the guy, his design is awesome

he's awesome, and so is Mint (the fem. counterpart introduced in the 2nd game) and Ronald (the rival character)

OK so! i made the crazy realization that Barry may have an ancestor in PLA

Hear me out: Volo.

THEY HAVE THE EXACT SAME HAIR CUTS AND I WILL PROVE IT

They BOTH have this strange, horned and back spike haircut AND Volo acts in Barry's place during the game, often running up on the player out of the blue and even battling them. This time simply switching out Barry and Team Galactic's places for Legends Arceus' ancestors on the scene of Mt. Coronet.
