also these days I relate so much to ancient bylers because of people rediscovering things we talked about 3 years ago like the magazine Mike has etc and that's just how byler works and what we did after season 4 with stuff that other ppl found out years before lol (magazine included in that) and after Byler inevitably becomes canon endgame there will be so many people going back and posting the same stuff again and I think that's beautiful

it's not "just a preference" when you spend your time constantly sending hate asks to other shippers, use slurs in a negative way against queer characters because you don't like them being part of this ship, or call the shippers delusional for shipping their ship or believing it could become canon because they're putting it at the same level of the straight normie ship... unlike you who thinks it could NEVER happen just on the assumption that queer ships should continue to never actually be canon. you're annoyed if they are "too loud" online and this "too loud" is just the fans normally enjoying their own fandom that you have the option AND the responsibility to block instead of being a complete ass. I don't like many queer ships too and yet I'm not going to their space purposefully to break their balls, I'm not commenting "I hate this ship uggghhh my ship 5everrrr in THEIR edits, and I'm not so entitled to think they should stop shipping them just because I don't like them, mind your business, keep it for yourself, ship your ships and stop adding to the freaking homophobia already out there

Queer ships. Almost exclusively queer ships. Only queer ships. Like one or two exceptions and they're very toxic, the rest are just any queer ship.

Byler, Steddie, Enid and Wednesday, Jegulus, Yuri and Kitty - all repeated throughout the comments section and more.

And then like one or two toxic straight ships and then a bunch more people talking about queer ships.

And the format of not having to elaborate let's you hide the fact that you have no reasoning but implicit bias. "I'm such a contrarian I hate popular things" not if you only hate queer things, not to mention I would argue not even popular given how every mention prompts homophobia.

"I'm so brave for saying I hate this worshipped thing" and it's something everyone loudly hates.
