Boy howdy it’s been a long time since I looked at this blog!

Though this blog is kind of dead, I may remake it once Twins AU is like... actually finished, ehehehehehe. Might be a really long time though, since I’ve got other projects I’m working on and what have you.

I plan on continuing to edit Twins AU and, hopefully, complete it!

Regardless, thank you to everyone who’s been patient and stuck around for this long! If you’d like to ask me any questions, feel free to hit me up over at @rubberduckyrye!

For now, this blog will become inactive, and will only stay up for archival purposes.

A different take on an Ouma twin (AU based, belongs to @impytricky​ and @aroseandapen​) called ‘Kurochi’. I rather like the scarf arrangement, aha~

I made him a little wry/bemused which seemed to me a fitting ‘kind of happy’ expression for the guy

I don’t know if there are many apps that allow you to customise your own stickers/emotes? As far as I know, only Amino has this function, and Discord Nitro costs money.

And yes! This is Kurochi, he belongs to @aroseandapen​ and is the protagonist of our joint canon rewrite/AU, “We’re a Two For One Special!”

Oh my gosh, you drew him so cute! And thank you so much, aaaaaaah~~ I was stressed out all day today because I have to ship my new laptop in for repairs and I couldn’t find a box, then I saw my pen tablet’s box just baarely was able to hold the laptop and charger, so I spent an hour fiddling with that and packing it, and then me and my dad called numbers to make sure if the package was lost I wouldn’t be out $500.00, it was kind of a mess of stress but!!! My headache is gone and I am so in love with this and it made me so happy, thank you sooooo much!!

Ooc how do you co write the twins au. Do you guys both have like a certain section of the fix you write or what?

We roleplay it!

We have a server (well, technically two servers, it's a long story) on discord specifically for us to rule play out Twins AU in private. When a thread is done, I edit it to be a coherent fanfiction, and L edits the fic, and then beta readers read and review the finished threads and give us a rough idea as to how we're doing and catch any mistakes we might have made.

The idea is that once all threads are complete and ficified, we will go back once again and edit the whole thing as a whole to make sure things aren't repetitive, we fill in any necessary time gaps, we will tweak it until it's ready for final polishing.

Then, when the whole thing is done being polished, the older fanfictions that are currently up will be taken down, and we will start uploading the main AU as one coherent fic on a steady schedule.

Twins AU does have several components to it, keep in mind, such as the LSEs--those will be staying in their own separate fix, and we have a series of threads that are pregame and a series of threads that are postgame as well. The post game stuff is 100% for fun though and might not see the light of day as official content for the AU. There also might be some bonus different perspective drabbles too.

However, we had also decided that if a thread concept inspired either of us to write it out as a fanfiction, then that would be more than fine!

Though, I think we want to keep things mostly to role play, because the final products we have will be more consistent in writing style.

And don't worry, we haven't like, run out of steam or anything! We're just kinda slow to begin with, and tbh I'm kind of glad we're taking our time since the plot keeps shifting and being tweaked as we go along.

Either way, that's how we currently cowrote Twins AU!

What was Kenshit like to Kurochi before he started doing the bad to him

I’d imagine the same as I said before--distant, not really around. Kinda cold, kind of stern. Once the abuse for Kokichi starts, I think Kenshin would be even colder and more cruel to Kurochi--I’d imagine Kurochi was physically abused to some extent, but maybe not to the same extremes that Kokichi got?

If I remember correctly, though, that might be due to the fact that Kokichi was way too rebellious and vicious about his rebellion by comparison.

Don’t think this was asked before but sorry if it was: was kenshit nice to the twins before their mom disappeared/was killed? Or was he always a piece of shit and he just got worse

I imagine that Kenshin was more so absent or distant to the twins than involved at all. He would be polite and stern, but the abuse really only started when Umeko was out of the picture. 

Potentially, this is because it was frustrating for Kenshin that she rebelled against him, so he takes it out on the twins/imposes the abuse Umeko faces onto them.

Part 2 of a 3 part birthday gift for @aroseandapen! This is based off of a Remnant!AU where Kokichi and the rest of the v3 class (aside from Kaito) was turned into remnants of despair. Ala why they’re in FF uniforms and why Kaito’s hair isn’t gelled up like mad.

I tried to use @tokilos art tutorials and I gotta say, this is a massive improvement! I like this color style way more :’D I need to practice more though.

I decided to draw Kurochi again because a soft boy deserves a soft doodle.
