Every time I come across anything online concerning those blasphemous VOY Q episodes, I cringe.
I then find reassurance in the irrefutable truth that Q just can't stop mentioning and referencing Jean-Luc Picard to everyone in VOY.
Q wasn't exactly sincere in the heterosexual game he was peddling to everyone. He was just rowing down that long, long river through Egypt.
The dude was SERIOUSLY stuck on Picard all along.

Picard: Don't be ridiculous, Q.
Q: Okay. Then, scratch eternity. Will you marry me?
Picard: Hard pass.
Q: Will you just share eternity with me?
Picard: You're a nuisance. Go away, Q!
Q: Well, then can I at least take you out on dates?
Picard: Um, no.
Q: Can I snap my omnipotent fingers and take you away from all of this Starfleet drudgery to the most fantastic and farthest reaches of the Universe?
Picard: I don't think so.
Q: Ooh! Playing hard to get are we? Can I at least buy you dinner?
Picard: Thank you, but no.
Q: Lunch?
Picard: Q, stop!

Q: How about coffee, sometime? It's on me.
Picard: You're kidding, right?
Q: Of course! How foolish of me.

Q: Can I make you some Earl Grey tea, then?

After rolling with laughter at seeing Q being brutally reduced in his continued romantic pursuit of Jean-Luc Picard to humbly making tea for his Favorite mortal, The Q suddenly gasped in surprise at the tiny, quiet, and fleeting thought crossing through Picard's mind, as Q sweetly handed him a cup of his favorite drink.
Picard took the tea from Q's hand, and when the tea first touched his lips, Picard thought with a slight smile,
"It's a start."
