One major leason I learnt from #bbnaija2018 is this: Attitude is everything . Attitude of employers to employees, bosses to workers, friend to friend, between colleagues, clients and entrepreneurs, business men and customers . A good attitude builds strong and better brand. A bad attitude ruins relationships and demoralizes others. It worsens relations and breaks down all lines of communications. The same applies to vendors, event managers, and service providers. Do not let others words or actions get to us so kuch that we overreact or react negatively and end up destroying years of hard work. Do not provocate others or let your tempers gain the better of you. Always exercise patience and self control no matter the situation or circumstance. This cup shall soon pass. Whatever you do. A destination wedding does not necessarily have to be in maldives, dubai or one of those exotic names. It can be on a beach, resort or even obudu ranch , the beautiful centres that abound all around us here in Nigeria. A wedding with just tge few people that actually matter. Pros: Budget friendly. Less cost dependingon location chosen of course but assumingeach guest is expected to bear his/her cost of transportation/accommodation More intimate Less hassles/stress More time for bonding and enjoying the event Less noisy Easy planning Less demanding on couple and guests. Cons: Prone to offend all the non-invitees (family members, neighbours, colleagues , even those you never knew of their existence prior) Hurting the feelings of everyone who has looked forward to making your wedding their own special day too especially African parents. In these days of social media and internet trolls acting judge and jury between a client and vendor. I want to know if its even right to screenshot messages that are meant to be private and putting them online for world to see. I believe before taking such drastic decision, all avenues of compromise, conflict resolution, Customer appeasement, legal route has been tried with no end results. By taking the matter online, its either one wants to force an action or ruin a business . However I subscribe to call outs if the other party doesn't want to go the peaceful route. I guess in addition to saving emails, one must save chats. Which means in present day world, no means of communication is considered private, the more reason why one must be very careful in his/her choice of words and language. All the amazing scenes from the beach party yesterday Food 🍕🍜🍗🍟👌 Games👌 Drinks🍦🍧 Music💿🎶 Meeting new friends👫👬 Networking👭 Horserides🐪 Kayaking🛀🏄🏂 Swimming🏊 Boat cruise⛵ Dance competition💃💃 Entertainment👌 I learnt how to kayak (sail a boat with oars), put my horseriding skills to use (all the time spent in Ibadan polo club didnt go to waste) , learnt a new game Taboo that tested my word ability and intelligence, listened to an Olamide wannabe who put up a wonderful, impressive performance. He was so impressive lyrically we hailed and showered him with money and accolades. Finally made some new friends who were also at Oniru to enjoy themselves.
