can someone please tell me why Eugene's 'death' in Tangled is so much like Arthur's death? BECAUSE I'M ABOUT TO EXPLODE. I DREW ARTHUR AND MERLIN IN THE EXACT POSITION RAPUNZEL AND EUGENE WERE IN WITHOUT EVEN REALIZING IT

there's NO WAY rewatching tangled IMMEDIATELY reminded me of Merlin and Arthur

JUST. LOOK AT THEM. look how Rapunzel is holding Eugene, and then LOOK AT HOW MERLIN IS HOLDING ARTHUR. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. they are so in love. romantic, platonic, i don't care, you can't deny that Merlin and Arthur loved each other so, so much. SO MUCH THAT THE ENDING COULD'VE BEEN SO SIMILAR TO A LOVE STORY, LIKE TANGLED'S ENDING.

gawwddd, why couldn't Arthur and Merlin have what Rapunzel and Eugene had? :'[[

Genya's birthday celebration at ufotable cafe announced!

With this it's basically confirmed that Genya will finally get birthday art

I initially started planning the whole thing since last November 3 and drew everything in November 7 up until to now, it has taken me 53:52 hours according to ibis pain. I know, I had so much time to finish it, but I had exams and our sports event so alot was on my plate and had to prepare a few things!

Things I wanted to add in the animatic, some of them didn't push through:

I originally wanted to add in the "kinda mad that I didn't take a stab at it" and shows Arthur either dying or regretting not giving the sigil a chance.

"thought you were too good for me my dear, never gave me time of day my dear" probably Arthur distancing himself because he thinks he isn't good enough for Merlin because of how kind and pure he is and seems himself unworthy if his time ect...

It had potential but I wanted to stick with what I had originally planned out from the start. I have so much more but it's mostly forgotten because when I storyboard, it's all in my head while the song plays on loop (I never want to hear that again) and i only jot down what i've initially thought in the making of the storyboard and followed through the writings as you can see.

I hope you enjoyed this whole ass ramble, and this animatic too! It was such A pleasure to be in this fandom and I hope to make more in the future!
