Ahhh out of curiosity, what do you think Kit’s favourite weapon is going to be???

Ofc every shadowhunter has there favourite weapons (Cordelia/Emma Cortana, Julian Crossbow, Isabelle her whip) I’m curious what you think Kit’s favourite will be.

Now there’s the obvious and most likely, which is Jame’s gun. Kit would probably love to sling guns and what not, but I feel like some other fun options could beeeee

Katana, Bow & arrow, Butterfly knives (like Cristina! I feel like he would love to just fiddle with them ahah)

Overall, IK in SOBH Tessa and Jem said Kit was living a relatively normal life (going to a kind of regular school) but I also do hope he’s been continuing his training from GOTSM and has been going on some Shadowhunter missions!!!

Ahhhh I absolutely love this question because I myself have spent hours thinking about this. So I totally agree that Kit will definitely have his own „signature“ weapon.

I mainly seeing him use James‘s gun (*screech*) because I remember him saying at beginning of Lord of Shadows that he would prefer a cool weapon like a gun to a dagger.

However, I also see him using the Herondale dagger that Jace gifted him Queen of Air and Darkness!

And now here‘s my idea (hehehe): Remember Durendal? It‘s the sword that saved Emma when she was stuck in a wall of thorns, trying to reach the the Unseelie tower in QOAAD. It‘s the brother blade to Cortana and it would be so cool if Kit (who is kind of a Carstairs now) would accidentally summon Durendal in TWP when he doesn‘t have any weapons left. And than instead of disappearing, like it did with Emma, it would choose him as it‘s bearer.

But yeah that‘s my take on that! Let me know what you think about it! (Also: I‘m a 100% sure that Kit is still regularly training with Jem ;))

When I tell you need to see one of those cliche overprotective older brother moments in TWP where Ty would immediately stab Ash in the back without any remorse when seeing him stand too close to his little sister

That would be so wholesome! But also imagine a scene where the seelie queen makes kit an offer to stay with her in Faerie and he says „so what? you‘re not threatening to make my life miserable if I don‘t agree?“ and she says „oh, you‘re already miserable enough, I think“ while looking at Ty

ik this will never happen but imagine if cassie paid homage to the iconic coa kiss scene by making the seelie queen ask ty about the kiss he most desires on a quest and kit panics and convinces himself it’s gonna be anush, but then ty turns to him and kisses the living daylights out of him and kit’s like so fucking confused :’)

You know what‘s funny? That we got Alastair‘s POV once in the whole TLH series and it wasn‘t a scene with Thomas (I actually feel like crying)

After three books of Kit endlessly pining over Ty and thinking his feelings were unrequited, Ty‘s POV in TWP is going to be like a punch in the face because suddenly we will have the POVs of two boys who are a pining mess for each other

Ty going from „I have loved you and you haven’t known it“ to „You know that I love you“ in TWP will be the actual death of me

Friendly reminder that neither Ty nor Livvy had a POV in TDA, so we never really got to read their interactions, where it‘s just the two of them. And with that I‘m also sure that there was at least one conversation about Kit.

Just imagine Ty, who told Livvy pretty much everything, saying something like „I‘m gonna ask him to be my Watson tonight“ or „I really want him to stay, Livvy“

Why do I have this bad feeling that Ty has to choose between saving Kit and saving Livvy in TWP? (Like imagine a prince of hell trying to talk him into handing Kit over or bringing Livvy back)

Me whenever I remember that the first TLKOF chapter is just around the corner (I‘m not ready?!)

Let‘s not forget that we won‘t only get a KitTy love declaration in TWP but also them declaring how much they just missed each other

So imagine a scene in TLKOF where they solve a riddle together and for the first time in three years they just smile proudly at each other until Ty whispers „I missed you“ with a smile on his face and Kit confesses „I missed you too“
