GUYS GUYS THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT I WANT TO TALK ABOUT KIT’S CHARACTER PORTRAIT BECAUSE IT MAKES SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR TWP.

Okay, so like, first: the sword. THE SWORD. AAJSJAJSHSJAJKSKSKSKAJ WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE HAS A SWORD?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE ARE GOING TO GET SCENES OF KIT FIGHTING WITH A SWORD?!! AJAJAHSHJSAJKSSSKSJ.

Then of course THE GUN. OMG I JUST KNOW HE’S GONNA LOOK SO FREAKING BADASS USING A GUN AS HIS WEAPON! (Also, if it IS Jame’s sword that would just make it a 100x better).

THE MILITARY BOOTS. GUYS YOU DON’T KNOW HOW CRAZY I AM FOR MILITARY BOOTS. AND NOW KIT HERONDALE IS WEARING THEM?! I AM TRULY GODS FAVOURITE.

THE OUTFIT AS A WHOLE IS AMAZING. I LOVE HOW THE SOFT LIGHT BROWN SHIRT LOOKS ON HIM (I really didn’t like the orange shirt sorry 😔)

HIS HAIR. HIS HAIR HAS ALWAYS BEEN PERFECT BUT HIS HAIR DRAWN LIKE THIS IS HEAVENLY AND IT’S THE ONLY WAY I AM IMAGINING HIS HAIR FROM NOW ON OK?

I love how older he looks here. Like, he doesn’t really look like a teenager anymore but a young adult.

The SMIRK. AHHHHHHHHHHHH. THAT SMIRK IS PERFECTION. AND THE LITTLE MOLE, LIKE. If we don’t get at least one scene of Ty kissing his mole I’m gonna sue.

Which brings me to my next point. I can’t even begin to IMAGINE how Ty must have felt when he saw Kit looking like THAT for the first time. Like, him gasping for air in a way he never has before in SOBH makes so much fucking sense.

Oh Ty Blackthorn what a fucking lucky gentleman that you are.

Let's have a too deep analysis of this one single drawing.

Kit looks older, not a surprise as in TWP he's 18. We can see he also has the same hairstyle as the new flower card. He's wearing his signature jacket and I have to admit I really like the military boots. I love that frostbite respected the mole. At this point, it is cannon and there must be a mention in TWP, thank you.

There's also the very tiny detail of Kit wearing his mother's necklace. Did Ty gave it back to him??? Doesn't Ty need it to protect him from the effects of the necromancy bond?

The weapon harnesses that hold the pistol and the sword lives rent free on my mind, I really wondered where he was going to keep the pistol.

I guess now we know what his weapon is, and I love that there are two. Based on the symbol from the pom, it's a FAERIE SWORD, and that's the coolest concept and I can't believe I never thought of that. The handle seemed to be wrapped in very worn leather, and it just makes me ask where the hell he had got it.

And of course, I couldn't forget to mention his runes. There's voyance and the one in the neck may be vision but the other way around. I think it's interesting that, as we know, Kit is right-handed, and he has the voyance rune in his right hand, but both the sword and gun are in his left. 

He's symbolized as the sun, as he was symbolized as the spring. It all follows a theme of life and light.

I just love how this homages the iconic SOBH jacket and it also say „The sun“ which means Gy will definitely be „The moon“😭😭
