The Johatsu Case

(Mouri Kogoro and Shinichi Kudo in a detective partnership post Canon)

From my post-canon Detective Conan fanfic that I had written about the Joint Kudo-Mouri Detective Agency in the early 2010s (Heisei era).

Basic fanfic idea:

So basically, after Black Organization Take Down, Kogoro propose to Kudo parents to be his legal guardian and made him to be his partner as a "Junior Detective". His reason to Them was to make the kid pay up and made Mouri Detective Agency to be in similar state as when he was become Sleeping Kogoro, But, The main reason because after all this time he was Conan, and since he knew the truth either during or just before Conan takedown the Black Organization, he really fond of the kid, especially that his hubris and how he could even handle all the dangerous stuff during Conan days and how he become a major Detective thanks to his insight, albeit makes him sleeping Kogoro angers him first, but it would soon become a matter of concern as after he successfully destroy the Organization and in hospital, he make a major gamble, take Shinichi away for a year and also closer to Ran, and make a a Joint Detective Agmecy for a year and a half so he could monitor him, as he saw him still a kid. So off they went to a Mystery adventure.

(The Johatsu case is either a fourth or third case in my Serialized Case fic in Joint Kudo-Mouri Detective Agency)

In this case, Shinichi Kudo and Kogoro Mouri are on the trail of a missing businessman who faked his disappearance, a case called “Johatsu,” where people vanish to escape their lives. The man left his employees behind after a bankruptcy, secretly hiding his fortune in Nagoya. Suspicions of Black Organization involvement lingered… but this time, it was just plain selfishness.

Eventually, the man is caught near Tokyo-Yokohama area, and justice is served.

I will had some character that would make a come back and also several Magic Kaito Characters and Yaiba too. Along with some Local, National, or even Geopolitical cases, which make Kogoro and Kudo adventure more interesting or intense in the future.

Conversations Scene that i imagined in that image:

Kogoro: “This must be the clue, Kudo-kun.”

Shinichi: “Yup. The person was last seen here.” As he pointed it out to that laptop screen.

But later that night, after the case is closed, Ran finds Shinichi staring out the window, unusually quiet.

Ran: “You’re thinking about yourself, aren’t you? About when *you* disappeared.”

Shinichi: “…I pulled a Johatsu on you before I even knew what the word meant...”

Ran: “You were fighting a war no one else could see. For our sake, even thought what you did to me was wrong in my eyes, but....”

She steps closer, wrapping her arms around him.

Ran: “You’re home now. And I’m not letting you disappear again.”

He doesn’t answer, but he hugs her back. Tighter than words could ever say. And they see each other in the faces, and kiss.

Characters in this Johatsu chapter: Shinichi Kudo, Kogoro Mouri, Ran Mouri, the missing boss, and the client (ex-employee).

Decided to give myself a break because I think I got super stressed, so today I decided to doodle for myself and ignore the stuff I need to do (I think I already finished the urgent ones so...) In the gem!Shinichi Au, Shinichi and Kaito have a very antagonist relationship with each other, Kaito desires to destroy Pandora and Shinichi desires to protect Ran (Pandora), so they clash a lot due to incompatible goals, so... besides because Shinichi is a good person, why would he help Kaito with his nocturne job? *Takes a look to Aoko* "I would self-destruct if I saw this girl sad, special because she looks so much like Ran"

notes: For the first drawing I used the sims4 to get the perspective of the background and a model 3d for Shinichi, why perspective is so hard, ayuda
