Hey y'all, idk if anyone cares cuz I mean, this fandom is pretty much dead, but I'm looking through this blog and getting nostalgic and wanna share some thoughts. So I have tried very very hard, but I simply cannot get into Joah. I understand that Jonnor is over and people are moving on, but I was watching the Jonnor storyline while in the process of coming out as a young person, so it was extremely special and meaningful to me. Although I do like Noah's character and am happy for those that enjoy this relationship, it just isn't the same, and while it doesn't have to be, compared to the emotional weight and build up of Jonnor, it just really seems like a step down. I know it was a while ago, but every time I watch the show I am reminded of the poor way the breakup was handled and I just get upset. We deserved more, and after all the time since then, it has become clear that we won't get it. I just feel so disappointed by this show, it is hard to articulate. Also, the drama surrounding Hayden and Gavin's relationship put a dimmer on things as well. It took both of them to make Jonnor the incredible thing it was, and the fact that there was negativity between the two of them, though it was not a part of the show, made me really...sad. I dunno. They brought this beautiful storyline to life together. I just have a lot of feelings about this and I am sad because the Jonnor fandom was so strong for a while and there really was such a wonderful and supportive community. If you want to talk, disagree, or just discuss, dm me! I am interested to hear other people's opinions.

Ship Joah, but never forget how beautiful Jonnor was and how much it meant to LGBT youth ✊✨
Nothing is gonna be the same without you.

I'm actually crying nbd
A Jonnor poem
There was this one boy who was pretty nice and fine. And there was another who he asked, “do you wanna be mine?” He wore flannel and the other wore nails of indigo blue. It was a risk, but he painted his nails too. The day they played the ouigi board, the blue boy asked mom to confess If he could be adopted and the flannel boy said yes. The two faced trials of jealousy with no idea of why. The flannel boy’s father would refuse to let them try. Things went down inside the tent that changed it all that night. But flannel boy’s father turned it all into a fight. Blue boy watched with envy as the other ran away. But pinkies, a kiss, and a gun shot led to, “I told my dad I’m gay.” No words then could stop him as he marched in, despite complaint. He stood up for his flannel boy and their love with his war paint.

Honestly the scene where Brandon tries weed just feels like one of those shitty clips from the 80s you have to watch in health class teaching you that doing marijuana is going to make your brain explode. I understand that some people have bad reactions to marijuana and I am in no way trying to invalidate those experiences, but positive results happen all the time too, and I'm happy to see a family-oriented show recognize, especially after Brandon's experience, that young people DO try weed and that it is perfectly normal and healthy to be curious and hey, maybe they'll even discover that they like weed.

This might not be a popular opinion but smoking marijuana together can actually be a really intimate experience for some people and I in no way think it is a sign of immaturity ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Guys Jude’s reaction to Connor’s post on social media was really immature but instead of getting super freaked out Noah totally handled the situation like an adult and I honestly think Noah is gonna be really good for Jude in terms of helping him mature as a character

Everyone is freaking out about Joah (myself included!) but can we just take a moment to be happy for Connor?! 😀 He moved to LA to live in a happy and supportive environment and by looks of his new man-squeeze he is fitting in and finding new friends. I will always have a soft spot for Connor and although he is no longer a part of the show I am so happy that we as a fandom got to get a little closure and find that he is doing ok. 😄
