y'all make it SO fuckin clear you've never been in an abusive situation and that y'all have never bothered to educate yourself about child abuse. im revoking ur rights to speak about the touya reveal since y'all can't act sensibly.

shouto was, and is, the golden child. we've known damn well endeavour pits shouto against his siblings since the beginning—when he was telling shouto he was above his siblings. doing this also pits his siblings against shouto. this is not something specific to the todorokis. this is a common tactic abusers use in real life.

being the scapegoat, the neglected child, in general being treated like shit while you watch your abuser appraise and raise the golden child up is bound to cause at least feelings of jealousy. thoughts of "if you were never born, maybe they wouldn't treat me like this." its very likely natsuo and fuyumi had similar thoughts, considering they were all children and victims of endeavour's abuse.

but it's worse for touya; considering he had been the most promising child before shouto was born. he was the only one endeavour bothered to try with before shouto. even though we know how horrible "training" is with endeavour, even though we know that being the golden child isn't a very good thing either, at least endeavour gave him attention when he was the golden child. touya was a child, they all were, and children naturally crave their parents love. no matter how much their parents could (or has) hurt them, children are wired to look for their attention and affection. they want to make them happy.

shouto being born with everything endeavor wanted took endeavour's attention away from touya, took away his chance to make his dad happy. you might be saying "but shouto was a child," but so was touya. children do not have the skills to grasp that the golden child did not choose to hurt them by being born. touya might not have even realized endeavour was abusing them back then.

touya is not a bad person for thinking of killing shouto. touya was a child that was abused by his father. i cannot stress this enough - touya was innocent. abuse is ugly and has ugly consequences. y'all need to stop blaming children for being traumatized.
