Azusa K-on! (1st time w/ Krita)

I'm starting to push up against the limits of what I can do with Medibang so I'm exploring my options. My first impressions of Krita aren't as positive as I'd like.

First is more a problem with my internet, but the online documentation on Krita's website loads really slowly for me. Sometimes pages don't even load at all. Unfortunate since the documentation is one of the first results when googling about Krita.

Second are the problems I stumbled into because I'm used to a different art program. Pen stabilization feels Wrong no matter how much I tweak the settings. The base brushes at once feel too large AND too small because of how differently Krita implements pen pressure.

Perhaps my most inconsequential issue (but also the most infuriating because of how inconsequential it is), I cannot simply quick-tap a slider with my pen to type in a value. I have to specifically right click the slider with my mouse before it gives me the option.

Finally, my biggest issue, which is also a problem I have with Medibang: I can't increase the UI text. I've at least been using MediBang for long enough that I don't even really need to read the UI any more. But with a new program, it makes learning harder than I'd like.

These peeves, among other things, were what led me to conclude that Krita clashes hard with my current workflow. I can't just adapt what I know to fit the app—I'd need to learn a new workflow entirely.

All that said, I am still interested in learning. Krita's not the first new program I've struggled with—it certainly won't be the last. I'll figure it out eventually. I hope whoever's reading this right now will be there to see it.
