Sohyun listened carefully to what Nalla said, her eyes focusing on her face, each little muscle movement and blink of her eyes as they walked. And as the question ricochet back to herself she sighed a little bit and as well as her friend shrugged “I do some freelance writing, mostly nothing big, other than that I loiter,” she winked with a soft chuckle as she pushed the door open to the coffee shop.

“That’s perfect!” Nalla followed willingly as she tucked her hair behind her ears. “I’m the assistance manager of a music store, we sell everything from instruments to albums to blank sheet music. I also DJ in clubs around the city, there are a few the I’m a frequent guest at. I stopped studying a while back because school just wasn’t for me.” She shrugs off the fact that she had actually been kicked out. “What about you? Hitting the books these days?”

Chuckling softly, the performer watches as the little fire cracker darts off into the crowd, inspecting the men on offer and all the straight ones, bi ones and probably even the gays were quickly vying for attention. As she hurries back to him, looking so small against the already tall man in heels, Lady RaRa can’t help her burst of laughter and tuts. “Oh is that true?” He hums, gazing around as the calls get louder. There is no way she id going to let Sohyun off that easily…

Now that she’s not picking herself, which in hindsight might have been the better option, Kwon sees the perfect victim, older, with a little bit of a belly and a drunk blush to his cheeks, and point. “You, sir!” He shouts and walks over. Standing by the man’s side, she smirks back at Sohyun meanly. “What’s your name and where do you come from?” He offers the microphone to the man’s lips, all the while wanting to laugh at her cruel prank. 

As she even noticed the first hint of the performers pick her eyes turned to her ,eyes rolling and she shook her head at Lady RaRa. God what a punk. But nonetheless and no matter how little of a team player Sohyun was she’d go with it, because the poor man didn’t deserve to be completely made fun off. So she plastered on a bright smile and nodded to Lady RaRa, one hundred percent playing along.

It’s not as if this was the first time Sohyun was encountered with a man she didn’t find attractive, it’s all about poker game and face, and then of course afterwards she would kill Kwon, literally kill him, probably strangle him, something like that, like a statement, just to get back. But for now she just remained collected, anxiously awaiting Lady RaRa’s next move for her embarrassment.

“Freelance journalism? What’s that? What do you all do?” He questioned her only because he wasn’t familiar with the occupation and just wanted to know some more about it. “Oh sorry– I’m Jaesun, it’s nice to meet you Sohyun.” He smiled widely, and meanwhile had a mental battle inside of his head wondering if he should bow or not. He never really did so but he was told it was the polite thing to do. Jaesun never really knew how to act around people, and for all he could remember, the last time he ever did bow to someone it was when he was younger and his dad practically pushed him to do so. The male fidgeted in his stance and looked off to the side. “I’m a dance choreographer for kids.” He felt he should at least tell her something else about him.

She chewed slightly on her lower lip as she gave a thought to her phrasing, “well basically it means I write like articles but I’m not bound to any company or magazine, I freelance, it’s a nice thing to have by the side but there are too many days when I can’t write for shit which is why I haven’t bound myself up yet,” she stated, a nod to herself to reinstate that it basically made sense. Her eyes and smile widened a little bit as he told her he worked with kids, “are you a kids person? That must be fun, getting to work around children and not stuck up corporate dudes in suits,”
