I need to get back into creating things. I feel like I've become more stagnant, and haven't done much to really flex or train my skills properly. I've had random ideas for random projects, but I don't know if I should invest my time into them. Not too sure what's keeping me from getting fully invested into something again.

where do you get the models for the characters from katamari? i’ve been looking for the model for the black cat forever :( but if anything, do you make transparent versions of the gifs you post?

okay so! ill preface this by saying ive never gotten the second way to work, because my computer is full of video games and doesnt have enough space to process something this big properly

the way i do this is i just go into my game and hit record, no character models required, However if you think your computer can handle it

keep in mind you need to own the game <3 and this works on any unity game

go here (this is safe i promise it comes from a github link)

install that, go to wherever its downloaded, unzip it, it should look like this

open the application there

go to file -> load folder

then from there go to where your games are (usually something like this if its steam)

then open a game! something with 3d is going to take a Lot longer to open, katamari wrecked my computer for a couple hours and while everything opened i wasnt able to look at any of the files

once the game is open click on asset list

and then go to filter type and keep only the things you want to see (probably the meshes, textures, and maybe sprites)

from there youll have to export the models/textures you wanna use and then open em in a program like blender! i dont have blender installed atm so i cant help with that but i hope this has gotten you far enough!!

This was a fun one to do. I still need to improve my perspective skills, but I think it turned out okay. Also I'm still experimenting with the lettering & I kind of miss the all bold letters. I guess I'll see how I feel.

I was struggling with this one for quite a while, since I couldn't think of anything that would fit too well. Definitely not my proudest work, but hopefully the rest will go better.

The thought of this one made me laugh, so I had to try my best and do a small skull. The weakest part is the hand, which I need to improve on. That part looked way better before I inked it 😅

Day 2 - Mindless

And I'm finally done with Inktober!!! I'm so proud of myself for actually doing it each and every day. I treated myself to a set of fine liner pens which helped the final prompt shine. It was definitely a fun experience 🙂

A few ideas for this prompt, but I stuck with this! It’s based on my mum’s cats she had as a kid, and if the whole ‘cucumber scaring cats thing’ was a thing back then 😅 I couldn’t get the eyes right, so she has black eyes now 😎
