I woke up this morning and decided I needed to finish this. It's a little rushed, but I did it! I had another idea for this week, but in the end, life got ahead of me. Such is the life of a full-time student 🥲. I'll just have to post that piece some other time!

After being interrupted, Zuko and Katara lock eyes in the Crystal Catacombs

A redraw of one of my favorite Zutara pieces~

I've always loved the whole Crystal Catacombs scene. From the intimate vulnerability to the understanding, acceptance, and tendernes, and finally, to the series of moments that prompt the question, what if?

I especially like this moment - the calm before all those rushed decisions. I imagine the two of them often coming back to this point in their heads. Katara questioning her decision to run to Aang when Zuko was the one who needed her, and Zuko wondering where everything went so wrong.

do you have any timelapses of your drawings?

I currently do not. I was thinking about sharing my drawing process through several stages of still images. I think my laptop would explode making a timelapse, haha. Also, I typically won't spend too much time in one sitting working on my art, so setting up a timelapse would be a hassle, especially with my lack of tech savviness.

This page is mostly just for my finished pieces, but that may change in the future if people are interested. But if I were to show my process, it would probably be via still image stages or WIPs (which I was wondering, is anyone interested in?).

Unless you're worried about AI, in which case I could show a screenshot of my layers, document info, or the stages of my next drawing.

Thank you everyone for your support! I met my long-distance boyfriend in person this past Christmas and had a hard time recovering after separating once again. After a few weeks of inactivity and lack of motivation, I hope to post something for Zutara steambaby week. 😊

Despite the recent live action controversies, I'm very excited to watch it sometime soon when I've got the time! I have seen the scarf clip, and omg-- what episode is it from?

Anyway, be on the lookout for something new tomorrow 🤗
