This is the account running Sapphic from the Hip Week 2025, and I’m Madge! Feel free to do as few or as many prompt as you would like, and post the work on the day of the prompt. Someone else's plural headcanon reminded me of the one I have so here we go

Jim/L from The Creak In The Attic is plural, with "Jim" being the collective name (maybe the body's name?), and "L" being the name of the one fronting. The voice in his head exclaims, "That's our name!" after the protagonist decides to call the ghost Jim, so I'm taking that as confirmation /silly

Also, just the fact that he has a helpful voice in his head. Do I need to say more

Here's another headcanon: Mr. Wilson ran into Margaery in some way or another and made a deal to always make good pizzas but then also in turn got cursed to never be able to make pizza dough so he needs to steal it instead, which is why he's always stealing pizza dough

there's something to be said about the two churches in cdiyw.

mark and clarissa both go to a church for comfort after their fight. mark goes to the church he hasn't been to since he was a child, the church of which his last memory is his mother's funeral. it's a last resort, it's raw and desperate, it's like he's pleading for a miracle. clarissa goes to the church that has been her second home growing up, filled with so many happy memories that she probably can't remember most of them. her loving second family comforts her like it's their second nature.

except, mark's church is an actual church and clarissa's church isn't one anymore, but has instead been turned into a restaurant; something about contrast and parallels, something about sacrum and profanum. they both walk out of their respective churches with a solution to their problem, but they receive it in such different ways. the coldness of mark's church and the warmth of clarissa's, the impersonal "give them the grace to meet you in your home" advice that mark clings onto like it's actually comforting to him and the hand-tailored "you're gonna put on a diy wedding for mark" idea that clarissa gives up on halfway through anyway (that's another point to be made, about clarissa being in a position where she can freely let go of ideas to reconcile with mark, while mark holds onto whatever advice he can get about keeping clarissa in his life with a death grip). their respective churches as glimpses into their lives. father petroska being mr wilson's mirror, tim being amanda's.

something about the way the two churches come together in the end, the wedding joining not only mark and clarissa, but also the two church-realms. tim's "you have to be honest with yourself and each other" speech that he gives clarissa at the pizzeria is ultimately the final push for her and mark to reconcile; the first step to the union between mark and clarissa, and simultaneously between their churches, initiated by a part of mark's church while they're in clarissa's church. the wedding is held in clarissa's church and officiated by mark's church. deity and humanity meet in one space, a hypostatic union of kinds. mark and clarissa are joined not only in the eyes of god, but also, and maybe more importantly, in the eyes of man.

because the real church might be performing the ceremony, but it's still secondary to the not-church in everything. the contrast between safe and kind mr wilson who wears his heart on his sleeve and will do anything to make clarissa smile again and unnecessarily cruel father petrova with a supposed "good heart" that's buried so deep "it's really hard to find" who only makes mark want to turn away. amanda's advice that, even though it's sudden and not actually well thought out, comes from a friend who clearly knows clarissa well and understands what she and mark need vs tim's well-meaning but misguided ideas, tinted with something that's more personal and fitted to his own situation than mark's, that do more harm than good and cause the rift between mark and clarissa to widen; the evidence of tim's young age and inexperience as much as not knowing mark and his situation. the wedding is held at the restaurant that used to be a church, even though there's an actual church nearby. the representatives of the actual church are the guests there, not the hosts. and the thing that really represents mark during the wedding in the end isn't the church that only serves to further his loneliness and isolation, but the down-to-earth diy theme, lovingly chosen and arranged by clarissa and her church as something uniquely mark's. the elevation of profanum over sacrum. there are two churches in wherever, new jersey and one of them is superior to the other in every way that matters; and it's the church that isn't a church anymore.
