tbh i really love how draco's a bigoted asshole (in the sense that there's just enough nuance in his whole... thing to not throw me off entirely but also really dislike him) but at the same time it's so hard to make him stay in character when writing him without cringing so i really respect the writers who manage to write him so well bc i know a draco is good when i want to punch him

hey did you guys know that there can be complex family dynamics and the black family can be abusive without straight up torturing their kids and walburga can love sirius and be so sad when he runs away and still not be a good parent and that siblings don’t have to want to reach out to reconnect with each other and that sirius can miss his family and still hate them and that cycles of abuse and generational trauma are so much more complex than well some of the family is evil but these few aren’t
