I'm sorry for taking so long to reply to this.. its been almost a MONTH. one of these days im finally going to finish the rebuttal

I believe we should start acknowledging how quickly Sayeon regains essence as a strength. I haven't seen anyone talk about it, which makes sense. After all, we don't know what it's like for other aberrants. It only takes Sayeon 20 seconds to regain energy after using it, which is due to the nature of her gift. 20 seconds go, 20 seconds come. So what's it like for other aberrants? Let's use Ryujin as an example.

Ryujin has a blood manipulation gift, so she loses energy very easily. The more blood she uses, the less energy she has and less essence reserves she can work with. Unless it's somehow part of her power, she can't immediately regain all of the blood she lost after just losing it, even for aberrant standards. The point is, in terms of using gifts, Ryujin will eventually exhaust herself before Sayeon does.

In contrast, Sayeon could use her gift endlessly. She says it herself.

I believe it just goes to show how much Sayeon needs other people to thrive. For example, the reason why Sayeon passed out wasn't because Heron beat her, it was because she had run out of essence. The only reason that ended up happening despite Sayeon's ability to recover her essence quickly is because everything was happening too fast. She used up too much essence in a short amount of time and her essence couldn't catch up to her. That situation could've been avoided if there was someone else with her to help buy her time.

I think this'll eventually pop back up in the future, but I could be wrong.

I had to give this one some real thought but I came up with an answer

They would pass, but it's not passed easily.

Both Taeho and Sayeon are logical people. Sayeon would definitely prioritize the mission and try to work with him at first, but I don't think Taeho would attempt to work with her at all. In fact, he'd probably try to keep the egg away from her. He would think the egg would be safer with him and that Sayeon wasn't good enough to protect the egg properly.

This can go two ways from here. Either they have A) a conversation ending in only one person taking care of the egg or B) another fight.

The problem with A is I don't think either of them would be willing to give up, but I also think that Taeho wouldn't want to start a fight because of the egg. Maybe they find some other compromise? Probably not

If they do end up in another fight, I think that because of how destructive Taeho's gift is, it does end up being destroyed. He'd be careful to not break the egg while fighting, but things are bound to be destroyed if they're like, right next to a bomb. If he fails, Sayeon can just rewind and bring the egg back. Then she'd try and minimize Gyeon's contact with the egg.

I guess technically the egg does end up being destroyed at one point but Sayeon's ability allows her to cheat anytime it is destroyed (under certain circumstances) so I don't think there's any way they'd fail as long as she's around. The reason why they don't pass easily is mainly because of Taeho not willing to cooperate with her and her not wanting to cooperate with him.

Okay, this might seem like a dumb question, but who told her this?

She grew up completely sheltered and lived off the radar of most Aberrants. The majority of the people who were around her didn't know she was related to criminals.. unless it was someone from the Crimson Society?

It can't be Samin due to how Sayeon's wording the sentence. Can't be Min either because he barely talks at all and she doesn't even know he knows about her history. It has to be someone old enough to have seen Sara while she was alive, knows that Sayeon is related to her, and be able to easily talk to Sayeon before she came to the Corps.

It could also be someone from the inner circle of Sea Wolves, since they're both close enough to have known Sara and Sayeon's relation to her. I don't know why they would've went out of their way to go talk to her and not Samin or how they could've gotten to her. "Hey, it's been a couple of years since your mom died! She was hot and so is your sister"

I don't think it's any of the boys from the Crimson Society, since she didn't recognize Min at all and didn't know who Jungwoo was when he told her the warehouse location.

You could argue that she's seen Black before, since in 'End of the Tunnel' she's seen sitting in the back of a car with them as the driver. The only problem with that is how Sayeon's classmate says that everyone who has ever picked her up was a woman.

My best guess is that it's the yellow girl. They know Samin so they obviously know Sara and is put in a good position where she could've easily talked to Sayeon while picking her up from school. The only reason I don't think it's Pink is because she doesn't seem to like Sayeon enough to talk to her about her mother.

There's not a lot of information known about this character though, so I'm probably just blowing this thing out of proportion. Whether I'm correct or incorrect, I want to see who told Sayeon this and what kind of relationship they had with each other. Even if it's something like "They're just this person I know".
