A doodle to satiate a bigger illustration in the making! Like most Cysova enjoyers, I think my heart breaks knowing that Cypher sees pieces of Nora in Sova. (I mean hey why are their names so eerily similar LOL). I think Cypher is afraid to pursue another relationship, especially with a man who shares the same field of work as him.

I’m sure it pains Cypher to see sova die over and over again on missions, and it also doesn’t help too that Sova is self-sacrificial.

I also love how through Sova, Cypher can experience what was once normal to him again. Tender kisses, touches, whispers of “I love you”, competitive chess matches, witty banter and conversations—all forms of love that he used to share with Nora.

For a man who wants to be detached from humanity; to be the perfect, omnipotent network…Sova really does undo him.

Cypher does want to be loved again. And as the saying goes, to be loved is to be known.

And that is just a bit of my long essay as to why I love Cysova xD .. GAA shout out to all my Cysova artists/fic writers who slay the house down boots with the sova/nora comparisons. You guys actually ruin me. 🫶🌷✨🌸
