What is SATHEE and how will it work?

There are many children in rural cities who have strongly decided to appear for competitive exams. They want to fulfill their dreams by appearing for the exams and passing them. Children are ready to pull up their socks and study hard for the exams but the sad part is that they can not afford to attend coaching centers. 

There are many children who want guidance and assistance in studying but all students can not afford it. That is why University Grants Commission(UGC) has launched a self-assessment platform called SATHEE(Slf Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exam).

What is SATHEE?

UGC(University Grants Commission) has launched an interactive self-assessment platform to bridge the gap for students who can not afford to attend coaching centers. This initiative to help students was taken by  UGC (University Grants Commission) and IIT Kanpur. IIT Kanpur has played a great role in launching the platform. It also helps students to focus on their weak points and strengthen them by practicing more and more. Students can watch the videos prepared by the IIT and IISC faculty members. This way students can gain confidence and can appear in the exams confidently.

The platform was launched on 6 March. It’s already live.

How will SATHEE work?

In the SATHEE portal, the study material is available in different languages including English, Hindi, and other various regional languages. Currently, there are two SATHEE websites that are created. One is for JEE and another for NEET. Currently free study material is available for children appearing for the JEE and NEET exams. The videos are already live with some written study material. Now Indian students are being helped with all the student material.

To conclude, the government has launched a free portal called SATHEE where Indian students can study for their competitive exam.
