We are in the middle of Womens history month and it would be wrong of me to not give these 2 women the honor they deserved. Their lives spoke volumes and their ministries reached far beyond what we can fathom. They taught me so much and i have gleaned and learned so much from their lives. Mommy and grandma...we miss you so much. Lord only knows how much we really do. Time doesnt heal....but the Lord does. I thank you for makinging me the strong woman i am today. Unqualified..... When it comes to my life, all the mistakes ive made, the people I've let down but still showe grace and my walk with God.... i am extremely unqualified. After all the things ive done to hurt myself and unintentionally hurt others...all that makes me unqualified. BUT then the Lord reminds me in his word.... none of the people he had called had ever been qualified. Moses- he stuttured, David- had an affair and murdered, Noah- drank too much, Mary Magdalene- posessed by 7 demons, Martha- worried, Sarah- impatient and the list goes on. All to prove... that God doesnt require perfection from you. Just a yes. He thought of you when he sent Jesus to die on the cross. He saw you and knew you before you were even a thought in your parents minds. He doesn't need you to be qualified or perfect. One look at you and he says "he's perfect"...."shes perfect" and places his hand on you and marks you with his blood and his favor. He sees your heart and says "thats my son....that's my daughter"....He is pleased with you. There is nothing you can do to make him love you more or move his hand in your life. Rest in Him and know your worth in Him. He makes you qualified. * We know very well that we are not set right with God by rule-keeping but only through personal faith in Jesus Christ. How do we know? We tried it—and we had the best system of rules the world has ever seen!
