What is  corporate social responsibility {CSR}:-

Corporate social responsibility is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. by practicing corporate social responsibility, also called corporate citizenship, companies can be conscious of the kind of impact they are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental.

MARFU– a synonym for transformation was established by national youth awardee, MR KADIRI  Raghu VAMSI. At  MARFU -foundation, we harness the INDIVIDUAL potential to bring about positive change IN  the world. O CSR:- The MARFU  Foundation is a non-profit organization that saves and improves lives while creating a community for all individuals with genetic aortic and vascular conditions, including MARFAN, LOEYS-Dietz, and Vascular Ehlers-DANLOS syndromes

1. The MARFU Foundation is committed to advancing research, education, advocacy, and awareness for these rare diseases, as well as providing support and resources for patients and families. The MARFU Foundation’s CSR activities contribute to several sustainable development goals, such as good health and well-being, reduced inequalities, and partnerships for the goals.

2.  Employee volunteering: The MARFU Foundation encourages its employees to volunteer their time and skills to help the community and the cause. The MARFU Foundation offers paid time off for employees to participate in volunteer events, such as fundraising walks, awareness campaigns, medical conferences, and patient outreach1. 3. Corporate volunteering:  The MARFU Foundation partners with other corporations and organizations to create and support corporate volunteering opportunities. For example, the MARFU Foundation collaborates with the American Heart Association, the National Organization for Rare Disorders, and the Global Genes Project to raise awareness and funds for genetic aortic and vascular conditions1. The MARFU Foundation also works with companies like Pfizer, Novartis, and Medtronic to sponsor research and clinical trials, as well as to provide educational materials and patient assistance programs1. Corporate volunteering fosters a culture of social responsibility, innovation, and collaboration among the partners and the beneficiaries.
