My favorite thing about playing a vampire is the stunts. It’s just a new, fun thing to do. Especially as a girl, being able to be all dolled up in heels and little outfits and be able to kick boys’ butts, I think it’s a really fun, make-believe world to play.

THE SPECIFICS
PLOT→
Despite the dangers behind it and the stigma that one out of two of those willing to pick you up will be a psycho or a murderer, hitchhiking continues to be an important form of transportation for those with nowhere else to go. This includes [A], whose life has devolved into running away from her past. She's willing to do anything - from changing her name to hitching a ride with a random stranger. As it turns out, she has done both. Her life for the past month has been nothing short of horrific. She's been running, and has had more than one unfortunate circumstance with those she chooses to ride with. She's near her wit's end when she calls for a ride to California, all the way on the outskirts of New York City. Enter [B], interested by [A] and the desperateness she apparently has to get where she's going. [B] takes her in and agrees to drive her, despite the fact that he/she has no business in California. [A] won't argue, although that willingness in itself intrigues her. As long as she gets where she's going, she's good.
But there's a catch [B] never warned her of. Halfway between New York City and California, [B] pulls over and steps out of the car without a word. Confused and frustrated, [A] follows him/her and demands to know what [B] thinks he/she is doing. [B] rounds on her and has a demand of his/her own in the form of information. [B] wants to know what it is that [A] is so desperate to run from: the one thing [A] just can't give away. She refuses, but [B] isn't satisfied. Unfortunately, that's the moment that their discussion is halted by the sound of a siren. [A] quickly drags [B] into the car and demands he/she put his/her foot to the pedal and put this entire argument in the rear view mirror. Unwillingly, deterred by the insistence of [A]'s demand and the panic that the siren brings her, [B] follows the orders and drives away. It's only after the police car has disappeared that the two stop again. For the first time they stay in a cheap motel instead of the car, as they usually did. After turning on the tv for some background noise, [B] is shocked to find that he/she is being displayed on the screen, apparently the 'accomplice to a murderer.'
[B] corners [A] again, but this time, he/she is not asking. Out with it, [B] demanded, and due to the change in circumstances, [A] was forced to oblige. She told him/her the truth of her situation, why she'd been running the entire time. She was the prime suspect of a murder investigation, and now it was too late to turn back. For either of them.
[A] explained it all. She'd simply wanted to get through college, she claimed. She'd spent the past four years of her life attending a local community college. She was only a sub par student, but she managed to make it, somehow. That was until she realized she had an F, one which would stop her from being able to graduate. She confronted the teacher whose class the grade was in, demanding that she change it so that she could pass. Her teacher refused, and at the end of their argument, [A] stormed out of her office, infuriated. There were several witnesses to this. Later that night, [A] learned that her teacher had been murdered and an open investigation was being conducted. Before she knew what she was happening, she was pinned as a primary suspect. [A] had nothing to her name. She knew she wouldn't be able to hire a lawyer with the ability to properly defend her and convince the world of her innocence. So instead of facing that inevitable fate, she ran, only confirming her guilt to those chasing her.
Now both [A] and [B] are paying for it, and the only thing left to do is drive.
NOTES→
I'd prefer to play [A] in this plot, though with an amazing app I may consider [B] as well.
[B] can either be male or female. I feel like the plot would work for both, so do whichever you'd prefer. I didn't include much background information on the characters because I'd love for you to make him/her yours.
I imagine the plot picking up from the moment [A] first gets into the car with [B], but that can also be discussed.
If you have a preference as to what faceclaim I choose, please include that in the app! I'm perfectly fine with any of the choices I listed.
You can apply for this plot here, and ask any questions you have here.
