Take as long as you need with recovery. I've never been in a surgery but I imagine it's not quite the easiest thing to come back from. I don't mind waiting, your health comes first after all

Thank you, doing my best. It looks like I'll be going home mid-july. And then I can recover at home. Hopefully I won't need any repair surgeries in the coming months and I can just heal up slowly.

I'm mostly worried at this point about my job. They don't know why I'm gone for surgery -well except the higher ups- so people are going to ask a lot of questions. I worry I'll forget how to do my job It's been so long. I also worry if I need a repair surgery that all the time I missed work will get me fired eventually. But, these are all "what-ifs" so I'm trying not to be so anxious.

I'm very appreciative that the people I have following my blog are so understanding. You're all amazing and this is why Tumblr is my main hub for my art. It's such a good community around here and I love it.

I miss being able to draw. I was drawing everyday for years. I think I'm getting depressed during recovery because I can't do all the things that make me happy. :(

What's funny about working on a comic you dropped mid-scene is that you forget tiny details. By the time I'm adding dialogue, I realized I drew the Princess with her crown - and in just the previous page, she didn't have it on.

That means she (thoughtlessly) placed it on while Kamek was yapping. Which makes it extra funny, because this would definitely piss off the mage even further.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who has wished me a quick recovery. I know I haven't responded to everything and just know it's because I've been very tired during recovery and sometimes I'm just too exhausted and forget. Just know if you've sent me well wishes, I've seen them and I appreciate them very much.

thank you so much! I'm so happy people are enjoying it. I'm on a little bit of a break now because I'm recovering from a major surgery. I'm hoping sometime in August to be able to draw again. My right arm is in a splint so drawing's not possible for a bit.

I have about 10 pages into chapter 7 done before I left for surgery. So it's not like I'll be starting from nothing when I pick up my pencil and start drawing again. Positive comments like this always keep me going. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with how big my project is but then I see how much everyone loves it and it really fuels me to keep going.

I had my surgery this week. Recovering right now. Recovery will be pretty long and slow but that's expected with this type of surgery. I had a minor complication and had to go in for an emergency fix in the OR but thankfully everything turned out in the end. Right now I'm in the ICU and will be here for a few days. Can't use my right arm so I'm using speech to text for typing cuz it's easier than attempting to write with my left hand LOL. But like I'm saying, recovery is going steady and hoping to be walking more as each day goes and eventually fully recovered. I'm hoping around August.

I received my package today and I love it so much! Thank you for the wonderful gift and for gifting us with your wonderful art.

I hope everything goes well for your surgery, I can’t wait to see where your story is headed next, but I want you to prioritize your health first. I much prefer an unfinished story, with a happy and healthy author, than a complete project making its creator unhealthy and/or unhappy.

Anyway I’ll stop yapping now, thank you again for everything and good luck for the next couples months.

yay im glad everything arrived safe and sound! Don't worry I will take care of my health. I won't start drawing again until I'm fully healed. I did manage to get 10 pages of chapter 7 done before I left state, so i wont be starting from the beginning of the chapter when I get home ar least!
