Back in September, a friend's husband commissioned me to make this for said friend's 60th birthday. It was the hardest board I've ever had to make. Technically it was easy--I've made dozens of boards like it. But 2 weeks ago I suffered an acute mental health trauma and my whole world seemed to shatter. I've been emotionally and psychologically rocked and fragile since, though I'm getting better each day. Finishing this board was a monumental accomplishment toward returning to normalcy. I dropped 9 trees at a friend's house today with mostly axes and a chainsaw sprinkled in.
