Oasis: Knobworth. Cocaine, Caricature and ‘The Culture Industry’s’ wet dream.
This week sees the release of the documentary film ‘Oasis Knobworth 1996’ which marks 25 years since the Manchester rock band played to over a quarter of a million disciples in a field in Hertfordshire across two nights. Obviously brand Oasis couldn’t miss the opportunity to celebrate its own greatness, in what is now being understood and accepted as some sort of era defining moment in pop cultural history. As a native of Manchester, who whether he likes it or not is psychically entrenched in the cities musical and cultural legacy and who was 15 years old when this event took place, I equally cannot miss the opportunity to challenge this retro fetish overstatement and present my own subjective understanding and experience of watching these caricatures of sex, drugs and rock roll as they rose to prominence. Let's face it ‘the culture industry’ has always needed fodder to sell to a teenage audience who in coming of age are flirting with the mask of social identity which is heavily informed by pop culture, and from late 1995 onwards Oasis, led by the brothers Gallagher were that fodder. The juggernaut of utter nonsense that they were peddling really began with the release of their sophomore effort (What’s the story) Morning Glory on the 2nd of October 1995, which to this day has gone on to sell in excess of 22 million copies worldwide, figures that depressingly highlight the state we are in as a species. Upon hearing the album as a 14 year engrossed in pop music culture I immediately disliked it. Gone were the walls of thick guitars, punkish irreverence and embellishments of baggy Northern Psychedelia that marked the best moments of their debut album, instead the listener was subjected to an overly clean, acoustic, commercial sounding record that was lyrically lazy, pedestrian and trite, to me it was and always will be an artistic car crash. It sounded immediately like a band uninterested in challenging itself or its audience, who instead were solely concerned with mass appeal, shifting units and making money. Whilst it should always be noted that the Gallagher brothers made no attempt to hide their aspirations for commercial success, material wealth and brand ubiquity, I simply find such sole motivations a turn off, that, more often than not result in utter dross, the kind that defines Oasis’ discography. Indeed, any ascent to the summit of pop culture will rarely be the sole result of an absolute desire for honest and uncompromising artistic expression, to just ‘make something’ regardless of economic reward or consideration for the consequences of what that expression communicates, represents or signifies. Indeed, such an approach will often come into direct conflict with the bottom line of the music industry, which is solely concerned with profit, monopolistic market control, the dissemination of ideology and projection of archetypes. And so it is that far from the ‘deviant bad boys of pop’ peddled by the culture industry press from 1995 onward, Oasis were actually a very obedient market vehicle for profit, who promoted nihilistic hedonism, idolatry, narcissism, misplaced masculinity, benign sexism, cocaine, lager and a depressing caricature of working class identity, and last but not least a brand of Beatles infused substance devoid pub rock. The ‘culture industry’ had been peddling this sort of shit from the mid 60’s in pop music and long before in general pop culture and as a result dear reader it was obviously very marketable once again to the mid-nineties teenage generation and to many subsequent generations for that matter. The game doesn't change. Oasis were and remain a wet dream of ‘the culture industry’, all too happy to short change a generation of youth culture with their destructive notions of cool, short sighted egocentric one dimensional outlook, and celebration of pack animal conformity under a banner of ‘rock and roll’ which signals ‘defiance’ ‘deviance’ and ‘hope’ but when unpacked and interrogated actually reveals a concession and obedience to the drudgery, depression and anomie of a top down controlled market culture by both the band and its disciples. They were without doubt a grey cloud of hard materialist understanding and sense pleasure that would leave Saint Francis of Assisi empty inside and reaching for a razor blade. I think it was the idolatry, narcissism and the reductionist mask of masculinity (that were all no doubt in the air at Knobworth, I couldn’t actually say as I wasn’t there, I had seen them on 26/11/1995 at the Manchester Nynex, and although I certainly do have deep seated masochistic tendencies everybody has a limit, and once was enough) that the band and its followers displayed that really didn’t sit well with me when the cultural juggernaut of Oasis and Britpop took off. These traits were for the most part distilled, embodied, displayed and performed by the band's frontman Liam Gallagher, a man whose answer to all of life’s existential conundrums is a pint of Carling. To me, Liam always carried a look of someone who had been asked a question they didn’t understand and was just trying to front it out with a gormless stare in an attempt to display some presence of depth and mystique to his onlooking disciples and celebrity obsessed media. When he did speak his articulations rarely got beyond how he was ‘mad for it’, how he was the ‘best frontman’ in the ‘best band’ and when his adopted mask of self-confidence was ever threatened would often bark ‘fook off’ in deflection and defence. Gallagher became the ‘Archetype’ that the modern-day British working class (and wannabe working class) alpha male identity is built on. Replete with feather cut, stone island jacket, adidas originals and cheap cocaine, ready to perform the identity prison they have adopted until the cows come home. I occasionally ponder as to whether the clinging too and performance of such a symbolically material identity merely masks an innate fear, and serves to deny the unpacking and unmasking of the ‘authentic self’, and how that process would more than likely contradict the projected ‘tower of strength’ that is indefinitely projected and protected by this deflective mask. I mean I thought we were an expression of consciousness with the innate capacity for creativity, who are looking to integrate the inner self into the ‘persona’ so as to not be imprisoned and tormented by the demands of the social mask, the gulf between the two and its insistence for the inauthentic? Who knows, and ultimately who really cares in this day and age. In terms of the idolatry, the fans deification of Liam and his brother Noel, alongside their deification of John Lennon, the two Paul McCartney's, Bozo and Poor Weller also really pissed me off when I was 15 and still doesn’t sit right with me today. It's the rock n roll hierarchy-musical establishment-gotta pay your dues-know the classics-they’re a fucking genius claptrap that really gets me goat. I mean fuck off, they've just made a record aided and abetted by an industry who want to flog them to death for moolah, and i’m expected to sit here and believe they're some sort of god like genius that captured the feelings of a mass populace, nah mate, it was capital backed exceptional marketing and mass gullibility. Limmy would capture working class culture in a 20 second video clip shot on his phone for nothing entitled “She’s turned the weans against us” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5VaPQflLq0&ab_channel=Limmy) in a far more profound and meaningful way 15 years after Knobworth. Furthermore, music solely informed and inspired by music and music history makes me want piss on my own face. That whole disciple of rock n roll dogmatic cultish crap, we want to be like our hero's motivation is so very depressing. I mean you’re having a unique subjective sensory experience, migrating through your own orbit of experience, and then when you engage with your creative faculties as a singular human being you adopt wholesale the principles and goals of those who’ve gone before you, or equally when simply embodying your identity it’s one built on the fetishization of a vapid celebrity archetype? Really? Really though? You’re not gonna take the opportunity to figure yourself out and project the uniqueness of your experience, reject or accept the external organising principles or merely just ‘mix the fucker up’? Hey who am I to pose such questions I guess, and in the immortal words of Oasis “You have to be yourself, you can’t be no one else”. Ha. I do think that line should now be updated to “you have to be a caricature of yourself because you cannot be anything else” though. Ooooh. Anyway, I shouldn’t really be blaming the current mask of one dimensional male social identity or celebrity deification on Oasis, they’re merely a cog in a machine that reproduces this reproduction over and over. However, that doesn’t detract from the fact that they are Manchester's greatest cultural own goal (shame really cause after the opening 5 or 10 minutes I was thinking we've got a team here), who made and continue to make to this day nonsensical grey groove-less drudgery a viable commodity with posthumous releases and as solo artists. Now that may be easy for me to say, as I was without doubt somewhat spoiled by exposure to the cities compelling history of DIY music from a young age, from the shadowy existential concrete corridors of Joy Division to the sharp witted marriage of high/low brow culture and realism/surrealism presented by The Fall, all the way through to the theological and philosophical street politics of The Stone Roses. Come 1995/96 I maybe expected more, but therein was a lesson for me, never expect, and indeed, always take the art and never the artist, and never ever deify. Musically Oasis were breathtakingly boring, real stodgy laboured stuff, and lyrically, to be brutally honest they were cringeworthy and embarrassing. However, to give them their due they did have conviction, but I’m sure that fellow Northerner Harold Shipman also had conviction in his creative output, but ultimately that doesn’t mean it was any good now does it? To me Oasis sounded like they were sent from the back of a battered cement mixer, or the lounge of the Robin Hood, or from the bottom of an overflowing ashtray on a coffee table in a council flat where shit cocaine is being relentlessly sniffed and Sky Sports News plays indefinitely. Symbolically they may be best defined as a scrunched up and discarded losing betting slip on the floor of a bookmaker’s that is heavy with the air of momentary hope, desperation, and inevitable loss. No thanks. P.S Look, all subjective criticism aside, Oasis spoke to millions and for that I congratulate them, they just never really spoke to me. Initially Liam and Noel were a breath of fresh air with their straight up lads with guitars attitude, riding their obvious desire with endlessly projected self- belief. However, to me there was just nothing after that initial Jab of intent present on Definitely Maybe and in interviews circa 94/95, there was no hook, combination or knock-out punch. Couple that with a general lack of grace, rhythm and finesse in the ring and to me as a spectacle it became boring very quickly, and as the rounds wore on that predictable Jab looked tired and stale, and the self-belief turned to coke fuelled narcissism. The ‘flock identity’ that materialised in the slipstream of their ascent and especially the attitude mimicry that was present then and remains today in the ‘Oasis Fan’ to be truthful is touch tragic. Furthermore, I've always held a deep-seated scepticism of the dynamics and motivations of 'the crowd' at the point of critical mass, especially when corporate power is deeply involved and invested in the relationship between the art and the audience. D'you know what I mean?

One Party Deletion Politics
Having had 9 Months of a Conservative Labour Coalition Government, and considering how well they have worked alongside each other in what has been an 'unprecedented' and challenging year for British Politics, I would like to think that we will not bother to run the scheduled 2024 General Election. I mean really, what's the point? We have seen over the past 9 months that an opposition works best when it fails to oppose, so it stands to reason that we should (as I have previously suggested) do away with the opposition element and move from a two party (with a third influencer to swing opinion and voting now and again - a la UKIP/Lib Dems) democracy to a unified one party political system. Obviously we would need to replace the Red and Blue competitive Theatre that we are subjected to as the ramp up to an election builds, but we have options, the one party State could instead focus on its duals with Viruses, Terrorists, Conspiracy Theorists, Aliens and the general public, I think that these could easily replace prime minister's questions and the piss weak scripted pre election debates that take place on the various corporate dissemination channels. Anyway, political activism has moved on from the days of rallys, door to door canvassing, and stuffing slips into boxes as a way of making your voice heard at a political level. We all know that the most radical political act available to us as political actors these days is Direct Digital Action. There is no greater political power at one's disposal today than the power to Unfollow, Unfriend or Delete another political actor. In one press of a button we can send a powerful message of 'NO' to all who do not conform to our own Political Identity, an act so radical it sends ripples right across our hard drives to GCHQ, ensuring that we are no longer exposed to the toxic opinions of others, those opinions that have not been cross referenced and checked for their progressive righteousness, those that do not tick the boxes of the liberal intelligentsia, and ultimately those who foolishly do not engage in the game of Virtue Signaling one-upmanship. Forget the ballot box and just press delete for Fucks Sake. Couple that with One Party Politics at war with the public and I think we're on to a right winner. Peace Love and Autonomy.

Corona Sense
Finally! Common sense is prevailing. Whilst out on my morning run today I passed a chap in his mid twenties, and as I did he simultaneously closed his eyes, his mouth and held his nose with his right hand. Now, I am assuming that the gentleman was 'Covid Clever' and that it wasn't the result of me looking every bit the feral, dirty, feckless, scally, chav, spud juggling, white working class second generation Irish immigrant scum that I am (remember - we're all unconsciously prejudice these days... . . . so says 'The wAckademics'), but even if that was the case it's fine, he did a good thing. I say whatever works in a time of crisis, self incarceration, suspension of vital public services and healthcare, a 24hr fear porn News Cycle, on mass social disapproval at the non compliant, reporting each other to the authorities, wearing gloves, gas masks, gimp suits, removing all online content that questions the official narrative, labelling anyone who does a Tin Foil Hat wearing swivel eyed Lunatic, all of it protects us from the virus, and remember we're all in this together. Hang in there, do what you must, they will 'Build Back Better', for you, for me, for everyone. Peace, Love and Autonomy.

Top Corona Tip #1
Top Corona Tip. When walking past someone outdoors if you don't have a mask on (don't wait for the State to make it mandatory and non-compliance punishable by a fine - exercise your freedom and do it now!), I would suggest just momentarily holding your breath. In addition and in light of new 'Scientific Evidence' relating to the virus being airborne, the eyeballs are surely also vulnerable. The long term solution is obviously a pair of swimming goggles to seal around the eye socket. However, if caught outdoors passing someone again without the right protection, I would advise looking the other way and momentarily shutting the eyelids until past the other person. Welcome to your 'Sustainable Future'. Peace love and Autonomy. x

Go Blue Team!
Ah ha! So it looks like the Blue Team will be the ones administrating the implementation of the Great Reset with its Digital Social Credit System, UBI and Smart Bio Security Infrastructure in the US. Personally I didn't have a preference for which Administration Team won, I'll enjoy the 'Woke' road to our sustainable future as much as I would have enjoyed the 'Inflammatory Absurdist' road, as long as they listen to unelected Global Bodies like the UN, WHO, CDC, WEF, IMF, EU, alongside all arms of The Global Banking Cabal, Silicon Valley, The International Pharmaceutical Industry, Soros Funded Social Change Groups and of course the Altruistic Philanthropy of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation who really cares? Just get on with the transformation, this pre Centralized Global Control Purgatory state is not good for any of us, It's all rather boring and quite frankly more than a touch predictable. More pace, variety and swagger to the tyranny from all the aforementioned would be gratefully appreciated by this spectator. I mean, everyone should be able to enjoy the new soft core Global Bio Totalitarianism. Which is why I think the writing and delivery needs to diversify and be more inclusive, centralize to decentralize, so the top down can inform the ground up, more playing on idolatry and the appropriation of embarrassing party political musicians and cultural figures, more in your face pandering to the privileged whilst feigning regard for the impoverished, more division to concentrate power and shape narrative, but ultimately more perverse and macabre attempts to make us conform to a centralized 'Sustainable' ideology and existence delivered by those with vested financial interests. Is that too much to ask? I don't think so and I believe that those in power can do it, Blue or Red, just a bit more Je ne sais quoi please.

2020:The Best TV Series Ever
2020: The Best TV Series Ever I cannot stress enough how much I’m enjoying the currently being aired television series 2020. Now I’m not much of TV series type as I believe there is a lot of poorly written, plot deficient, rushed to your screens nonsense flooding the market, vying for our easily distracted attention, and like any entertainment medium there is really only 5% maximum that is worth our time and investment. However, I can wholeheartedly say that season one of 2020 is proving to be right up there in this 5% category. In fact I would make the claim – and some will no doubt disagree, that what I have watched so far is the best of the best, it is the crème of the crop, extremely well written, perfectly shot and brilliantly acted by mesmerizing cast. Forget The Sopranos, forget Season 1 of True Detective and god forbid I never thought I would say it but forget The Wire – 2020 beats them all, hands down no contest. Indeed HBO who have previously been the standard bearer for top notch quality Television shows have really missed out with this one, maybe it was never pitched to them, maybe they passed on it, who knows but there loss is everyone else’s gain with this riveting action packed suspense fill beauty. At the time of writing this I couldn’t definitively find out who we had to thank for this long form masterpiece as the credits for both production and direction don’t seem to be all that clear – adding in my opinion to the Esoteric Mystery that the show itself seems to be ultimately shrouded in. From what I could find out on the Internet it does seem that UN Pictures were involved, as were WHO Films, CDC Inc, ONS Productions, IMF’s Entertainment department and also some funding from EU Pictures. Regardless of the lack of information regarding credits those who are involved have really delivered, on that there is little doubt. The show starts in March 2020 as a previously unknown Virus called Covid-19 originating in Wuhan China begins to spread around the Globe like wild fire. Immediately, Nation States in total lockstep under the advice of the Scientific Establishment and the World Health Organisation close their economies and lockdown their societies as the situation is declared a pandemic. Amidst this chaos the world’s mainstream media and national Governments begin an incessant narrative of fear, apparently to ensure compliance with new transnational legislation that requires the public stay at home, social distance, wear facemasks, not to gather in groups larger than six and report to the authorities any activity that is not in line with this. Now this may sound like a standard Pandemic movie plot a la Contagion, Outbreak etc but it really has more in common with Terry Gilliams brilliant 12 Monkeys in terms of its conspiratorial sub narrative and the use of behavioural psychology on the public. However, it stands alone and the story line opens up as we see the global public viciously divided by the measures, as is their trust of established authority which increases restrictions on movement and freedoms which are enforced by Police states backed by military support. We see the conduction of power at micro level as citizens turn on each other for complying/not complying with State Laws, policing themselves and each other as the show takes on a dark dystopian bent. All reinforced by the increased human interaction and activity that is taking place on the internet, which in line with its panoptic dimension is totally surveilled by Big Tech who are in bed with Nation States. Deeper in to the series we begin to see increasing dissent from those in the Scientific Community who have been excluded from national debates in the media, as well as an increase in scepticism from publics who seem to be increasingly aware with the spread of information on the Internet that something else is at play. This results in protests around the globe which are ignored by mainstream media and quashed by increasingly thuggish police forces who are now under complete State direction to prevent the Freedom of speech and the right to protest, as intelligence agencies infiltrate said movements and subvert them for their own ends. Anyone who speaks out against the official narrative is instantly labelled a Conspiracy Theorist, as human populations around the globe are framed by the Media and each other into a binary order of perspective, either pro lockdown or anti lockdown, pro vaccine or anti vaccine, compliant or non-compliant and ultimately silent or vocal. The show perfectly captures the power of the media and the influence it has over the collective and also underlines how easily the majority comply with authority when in an insecure perpetual state of fear. The series ends with the rise of a Second Wave of the Virus, as State power doubles down on its restrictions with increased use of the police and military to enforce them, people now locked inside their own homes and forced to Interact under total surveillance. We start to see the deterioration of the characters resolve and mental Health as the Individual and collective Trauma enacted upon them by the various factions of State, health and media power become apparent and the lightning transformation of their existence becomes increasingly surreal. Our characters are left pondering is the virus as deadly as they are being told or is it the perfect ruse for the transformation of their society and freedom. The plot is perfectly poised and a 2nd Season is obvious. What isn’t obvious is where the story goes as more and more people in the season’s finale become sceptical of the misuse of power in proportion to the Virus’s threat. I can’t wait for Season 2 and if you haven’t seen Season 1 yet I strongly urge you to check it out – it’s available everywhere now in real time.

Covid-19 and the Problem with Freedom
So here we are 6 months into the Covid-19 Global Pandemic, a virus which has brought about tumultuous change and the reshaping of our lives in order to combat the threat it poses to the entire human population. As well as the aforementioned change to our daily existence, the virus has brought with it some larger questions around how we organise our societies and one thing that has become glaringly obvious to me over this period is that Freedom both at an individual and collective level is problematic. As the virus has shown, Freedom – the right to Autonomous self and collective determination is a threat to all of us and as a concept may be outdated, having merely ran its course, no longer being fit for purpose. People and their accustomed attachment to this ageing concept of Freedom are preventing us from getting where we need to be. Yes, we may have to hand over our individual and collective affairs to The State and the Technocratic Elite who are guiding the state but surely this is better than the Freedom to think for yourself, to manage your own risk and all the problems that arise from this?
So for me Covid-19 has been a breath of fresh air, whilst the goal is obviously to eradicate the virus and eventually eradicate death altogether (the aim of any transhumanist worth their grain of salt), Covid-19 has allowed me to put Freedom as a concept in perspective and see it for the problematic, archaic and ultimately silly concept that it truly is. We can see clearly now that people organising the principles and practicalities of their own existence is in direct opposition to nature and the virus’s that it may throw up, this much is obvious. The great work done (at the flick of a switch) by nation states across the globe has proven that the days of loading up on Vitamin C, D, Zinc, Magnesium, eating well, getting outdoors at the same time as protecting the vulnerable and cracking on will simply not do. It’s wreckless, and as history has proven it only leads to perpetual freedom which has prevented the total technocratic takeover we desperately need and it has to stop. Ultimately, who do we think we are attempting to organise our own existence and manage our own risk? What do we really know as we scratch around in sub ordinance to Economic demands, preoccupied with bad drugs, pornography, Netflix and Deliveroo. Who made us an Authority on ourselves? Ridiculous when one actually reflects. If it wasn’t for the great work done by Technocrats through the ages we would be feral, uncivilised animals sat in a pool of our own piss and excrement.
The time has come comrades to cancel Freedom as it is simply not working. It is quite clear to this excited spectator that the time has come to move human existence into the digital realm entirely, where Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, Twitter and all of the other great facilitators we have come to love can monitor us, keep us safe and organise our existence. Freeing us from the ever growing risks of being outside and allowing us more and more time to engage in self distraction. From this perspective Covid-19 really does have a silver lining. It has shown us that there is no place nor need for Freedom and Liberty in 21st Century Societies. And whilst I don’t think Freedom should be airbrushed out of History entirely as I think we need to learn from its mistakes, it should remain our national curriculum only so our children can understand that it was ultimately no good for us and led to the global health crisis we have today. Furthermore, anyone opposing the eradication of freedom must be understood as uneducated, they are more than likely also mentally unwell and if white are probably a member of the Far Right. We need to deal with ‘Freedomists’ swiftly and harshly. One way would be to Pathologise any dissent towards the eradication of Freedom and the Technocracy managing it. Historically this has worked for Nation State regimes before and with the right care and attention to detail I think it can work again.
Personally, and I’m no expert so I really shouldn’t be speaking on such matters , I think we have the right people in the right places both at a National and Trans-National level to make the next logical step from a free society to a top down Tecnocratically controlled totally digitised society. Handing over freedoms is never easy but I do urge every last one of you to do it now, it will be better for you, for your family and for all of us in the long run. We’re in good hands, I have faith in that. I know that every last Scientist, Economist, Politician and Academic who make up our new Tecnocratic World Order have put in the hours for us, they’ve gone through Hell and high water, sweated blood and tears whilst rising to the summit of their professions to make your life and your family’s life better. These are the Ultimate empaths, saints, so our minds should be at ease and any doubt ignored. Bill Gates to me is the ‘Digital Era’s Mother Theresa. So what if his father was a keen Eugenicist those were different times. Bill made his money by playing fair and applying himself. Why shouldn’t he have the right to fund and essentially own the entire global medical infrastructure? His decision to do this was Philanthropy in its finest and most pure form, done for all of our well-being and we still have some people showing sour grapes towards him.
Respect and praise must also be given to Both Boris Johnson and Donald Trump in such trying circumstances for how they have implemented the Scientific and technocratic recommendations. Boris has held up well in the Global transformation, delivering his message with gusto and jovialness, always referring to the Science and performing well at press conferences as you would expect. Mr Trump on the other hand has had much more to contend with in relation to systemic racism in the US and the civil unrest that has ensued at the same time as the virus. He has hung in there, although I do think he should have suspended his crusade of weeding out the systemic peadophilia in the US establishment and focused more on the enforcement of Lockdowns, increased testing and the race for a vaccine at such a critical time, but maybe that’s just nit-picking. Regardless, I think both Mr Johnson and Mr Trump should be working closer with silicone valley to provide the public both sides of the pond with an effective digital social credit system so both countries can slowly phase out freedom and liberty in the very near future.
I think we should also give praise to Sir Keir Starmer and his Labour party opposition here in the UK. They have done what any good opposition does and avoided scrutinising the actions and policies taken by Johnsons government, like the decision to lock down in the first place and instead argued over the particulars of said actions and policies. In doing this he skilfully avoided greater debates around the usefulness of Imperial College London’s modelling system, instead falling in line with the larger national and trans-national cause to shut down societies, he showed and understanding and knowing that time was of the essence, and underlined how worthy he is of his knighthood. At this point it is arguable which party is best equipped to rid us of our increasingly problematic ‘freedoms’. Personally I would like to see a shift to One Party Politics and stop beating around the bush. We are following the Scientific Experts now anyway, so all the rig moral of left and right as silly as it was before just seems pointless now. We need to Centralize, Centralize, Centralize and sub contract our existence out to those in the know, or the inefficiency of the system will continue.
However, we can only rely on the state to reduce freedom so much, we must work with them to eradicate this outdated phantasy too. Our obedience is essential. Indeed I would have to say that there is a good argument to be made that anyone who leaves their home at this point is morally bankrupt and of very questionable character given the risks it poses. The same goes for those who don’t have smartphones, who haven’t uploaded track and trace, who don’t wear masks and who are not testing themselves as regularly as possible. You could also add smokers and the obese to this list of morally deficient types. What is wrong with these people? Finally, I would just like to say to all my fellow comrades out there, the cavalry is coming, a vaccine, universal basic income and an automated smart economy is on its way, we just need to be patient, have faith in our technocratic experts and the tireless unselfish work they are doing on our behalf. Stay safe and remember, you don’t know anything, leave it up to the experts and hopefully we can work together to make Individual and collective Freedom and Liberty a thing of the past.

Labour: Never the same since Noel Gallagher Left
Now that the general election dust has had a chance to settle and the momentary excitement and furore in Britain has once again returned to the familiar grey drudgery we are used to, it has become quite obvious to me why the Labour Party lost the ‘once in a generation’ election on Thursday. The Labour Party in my opinion – has never been the same since Noel Gallagher left, and this time out – even more so than in previous years, he was sorely missed. Gallagher was as important to Labour in the mid 90’s as Roy Keane was to Manchester United, as Bill Shankly was to Liverpool, as Diego Maradona was to Napoli, or as Beak was to Daniella Westbrook. Gallagher in his politicised prime had the capacity to galvanise and unite the nation around mountains of cocaine, cheap lager and short term hedonism (the backbone of any functioning democracy). His songs full of condescending empty hope and material debauchery mobilised a generation, bringing together students and builders alike in an unstoppable voting alliance. Labour, have many times tried to plug the gap left by Gallagher and they tried again in the lead up to this election, but Stormzy - as promising as he is, is no Gallagher and this clearly showed in hindsight.
Stormzy has simply not done enough Sniff, and as a result the builder vote (that Gallagher clearly had) deserted labour. Labour will recover, they’ll pick themselves up, reflect and no doubt rebuild – but rebuilding takes time, just ask Manchester United fans. Like Labour under Gallagher, Manchester United were once unstoppable under Keane’s stewardship, dominating domestically and having moments of success in Europe too. However since he left United just like Labour post Gallagher, the club has struggled to rebuild and ultimately to find a replacement for their Shamanic Talisman. Personally, I don’t think that the ‘incubated in a UN Holding Tank’ David Miliband can replace Gallagher, or that he is even worth bringing in to build a team around, he has no flare and cannot hold his sniff, however this is just my opinion and many would disagree. Only time will tell where Labour goes from here, regardless the opportunity to reflect and ruminate should not be passed up, whether that results in a tweak here and tweak there or wholesale changes, who knows. What I do know is that politicians like Gallagher or footballers like Keane do not come along often, and once they are gone are almost impossible to replace.
Personally, I would go with Stormzy over Miliband and here’s why. Investing in youth has a tendency to pay off – the ‘class of 92’ is a fine example of this, as is Greta Thunberg –just ask the UN. Yes of course Stormzy still has lot to learn, plenty more beak to sniff before he catches the manual labour vote but he is young and hungry, like Gallagher once was and Labour should give him time to develop. If they do, then anything is possible, he could well go on to master the craft of ‘empty hope’ just like Gallagher did in his prime, and this may one day lead to a labour government. Finally, the manual worker vote changing hands and being characterized as a case of Stockholm Syndrome is surely a misplaced reaction to loss, aren't all votes that are cast in support of a political structure where the electorates will is superseded by the crowns interests, and where those who are ultimately presiding over the freedoms of its citizenry do so from a detached state – always compromised to external forces and subordinate to the power of Global Finance – ultimately cases of Stockholm Syndrome? All votes are votes for the oppressive Nation State aren't they? Is this not the lie we fight upon comrades?
Regardless of these tainted terms of engagement - we must put our disappointments aside for the game is long, character and moral fibre are built not in our reactions to victory and success, but instead in our reactions and responses to what seem like defeats, there is much more to learn about the game in these moments - just ask Noel Gallagher. Yes he brought in the minimum wage – but he reacted terribly to the disappointment of Be Here Now, losing his focus and ultimately being compromised by external forces himself, leading to an unjust war in Iraq and the start of NHS privatisation, not to mention a string of pointless Oasis albums. Surely he regrets this capitulation but maybe that was the plan all along – only he knows. Regardless – he could win an election and Stormzy would do well to learn from his sorcery.

Typical fare from these out of touch nostalgic f#ckwits, they've swallowed the pop cultural objectification of Manchester's 'Glory Years', fetishising so heavily over it that they can no longer recognise anything that shares its disobedience and irreverence, that are unconsciously inherited by the indigenous psyche and organises its principles. Instead the established order champions anything that stylistically references its past but that ultimately lacks any of the rugged individualism, defiance and ambition to challenge the alienating creative straight jacket left by its predecessors and reflect existence back as experienced and imagined. Historically, I understood a conversation from one period and artist to the next, that sought to challenge the regional orthodoxy and moved things forward/sideward and into the 'new', not platforming rerun after rerun, blind from Idolatry and devoid of the pasts creative veins that refused to conform to the mediocrity of the present. F@CK OFF.

One Rule
The educated classes are useless
There’s nothing on the line they couldn’t care less
There not in the trenches with me and you
And they don’t see the horror show that we do
Comfort in careers won’t change this
Realign the way that we define progress
Medicated nation at the mercy Of big business where’s the controversy
Can’t rely on politics it unfit
Get the money out and then we might change it
Corrupt it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to
Serve the people not just the elite few
One rule for us Another one for them
Who are they to condemn
One rule for us Another one for them Relegate the diadem
One rule for us Another one for them
Who are they to condemn
One rule for us Another one for them
Relegate the diadem
They’re leading on the back foot too scared
To tackle that power base power doesn’t care
For planet or for people they benefit
From the fact that were unequal
Debt apartheid we pay all the interest
Why the banks don’t doesn’t really make sense
State bailout now we it’s really bent
When they gamble without consequence or consent
One rule for us Another one for them
Who are they to condemn
One rule for us Another one for them
Relegate the diadem

Bleak northern roads Hold autumn dawn raids Street level dealers In cuffs on parade A short show of strength About 2 hours in length Will fix monthly figures That have risen by a tenth Does nothing for relations In the concrete reservations Where the big picture is bypassed For small time violations Economic Stimulation Needs a drug trading nation And 10 billion pounds Is a lot for consideration For the corpses in Whitehall Where money makes the real call Legislate accordingly Then hide behind a brick wall A visible success Or so the newsreel suggests The truth gets constructed And the disparate accepts A narrative that is set By a powerbase corrupt Back scratching bureaucrats Let nothing interrupt The abuse of civilians In pursuit of more wealth A subtle form of slavery By the cold hand of stealth The dark side of progress Ghost town logistics No state investment Just corporate dialectics Chewed up and spat out Targeted and watched Retained only for the benefit Of a system that is locked By politics and law There is a war upon the poor And the impacts of the 80’s Is only just through the door We got social mobility For those with the ability So far from reality It’s a joke in the ministry Who Mediate reaction And play down the impact Who introduce a threat The cement it with playback Reinforced repeated Occupied and cheated 24 / 7 Until the truth is deleted

Brexit, Global Governance, Perception Management and Freedom
Democracy. Democracy. Democracy. I thought by saying it three times whilst staring into a mirror, just like the Horror folktale the Candyman, that I might be able to bring it into reality, however I knew my attempts at ritual linguistic and conscious magic would fail. As Democracy, the idea that Government is controlled by the majority of its members representing the majority will of the population, may very well have existed in primitive forms of smaller Government years ago, but it has never existed under the British Parliamentary system, as this system has always had at its very core a conflict of interests, between Monarchical interests, intrinsically tied up with Aristocratic and Financial Interests, and the interests of the public. Thomas Paine writing in his perpetually relevant critique of the British State and the dangers of Political corruption and cronyism in ‘Common Sense’ first published in 1776, understood this conflict and suggested that at the heart of the British political system lay “two ancient tyrannies”, monarchy and aristocracy, and given the growth of the global banking system since his time of writing, we can now add Financial Power, that lest we forget was co-constructed by these perfectly described ancient tyrannies. Indeed Paine goes on to offer an extremely pertinent description of what the Westminster model was designed to do, and is still  doing in the age of transnational governance and in relation to the current political theatre of Brexit, Paine (1776 ,p9) “the constitution of England is so exceedingly complex, that the nation may suffer for years together without being able to discover in which part the fault lies, some will say in one and some will say in another, and every political physician will advise a different medicine”. The just rejected commons vote anyone? In all honestly, I couldn’t care less for the concept of democracy that our political physicians keep espousing, as I have always believed it to be a construction of and means to ‘effective governance’, a governance that defends the interests of Monarchy and global finance over the interests of societies.  Furthermore, since the time of Paine’s writing, this type of governance has been able to implement its ideological agenda ever more effectively with the aid of the mainstream media, something which is being used extremely effectively in the current political skullduggery of ‘Brexit’. The following paper will examine the motivations and objectives of the nation state, the European state and the Global state. It will unpack the British State and Mainstream News Media’s use of propaganda relating to Brexit, in particular its use of the ‘Far Right’ to shape opinion and manufacture consent. It will also look at what offering such a ‘once in a lifetime’ referendum offered in terms of State political capital and the capacity for effective governance, by diverting and focusing collective attention. The paper will throughout engage in conjecture relating to British Secret Service involvement in the current state/media propaganda machine. Finally, the paper will examine what political engagement is ultimately supporting, and look at the politics of selfhood and purpose, in relation to societal change and freedom. Now let me contextualize the current political news media climate.
Please Note: This is not an academic essay, although it does use academic referencing. This piece was written for the value in the process itself, and for the value the writer places on self-sovereignty. It is free from the restrictions of institutions and their biases, and from economic compromise - it has not been monetized.
Brexit and the Mainstream News Media
So, over the past fortnight or so we have seen the big four British Mainstream News Media outlets the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky News, set up camp in Parliament Square, to cover what they say is every minute of the ‘Brexit’ negotiations, commons votes, counter votes, further negotiations and so on and on and on and on… . . . . . We have long known that the mainstream news media, at least since Herman and Chomsky’s Manufacturing Consent (1988) - (I am not a Chomsky fan, I believe him to be a compromised academic political puppet) and long before, Bernays, Vance, etc (media as propaganda has a long history), that mainstream news media receives its information (or script) from Institutional press releases, Whitehall, Scotland Yard and other state institutions, but to create Broadcast hubs at Parliament square is another gear in the state/media propaganda machine. Do we really need such centralized (almost around the clock) coverage of what is essentially a behind closed doors process, except say for the commons vote result on Mays proposal, or the odd press conference that is held? Does the bureaucracy of the political establishment really warrant Big Brother (no pun intended) like screen time? Do we need to see political automaton after political automaton, getting out of their chauffer driven cars, walking through the door of deceit, or prostituting themselves to one or all of the four MNM platforms via their convenient broadcast hubs? Personally I’d rather stare at a tree… . . . . there’s more honesty in it. What we have here is just a project to ‘manufacture consent’ or as may be more exacting, perception management. It is political theatre to shape public perception, a form of propaganda easily as nefarious in its aims as previous forms of fascist propaganda, and far from just involving members of parliament, the cast is wide, and the narrative is deceptively insidious. Let me now turn to one of its brightest stars, Owen Jones, and examine the skeleton of the narrative, the ‘so called’ growing Far Right.
Owen Jones: A Platform to Opinion Shape
Jones, fresh out of Oxford, worked as a researcher for a trade union, and then went on to write and secure a publishing deal for his book, Chavs: The demonization of the Working Class (2011) which was hugely successful, and rightly so, I thought it was a good historical account of the perception of the working class through the eyes of the establishment and more so the treatment of the (overly homogenized) working class in mainstream culture and media. In the wake of his success Jones was seemingly elevated by the very establishment influenced mainstream media he had just critiqued to become the go to political commentator of the left, and went on to write ‘The Establishment’ (2014), a piss poor investigation into how established power in Britain works that does not go  anywhere near deep enough into where the real bed of power is, that being the British Monarchy, he daren’t, at this point he was compromised, he had a career, a platform and a healthy income, he had too much to lose in letting his ‘straw critique’ go too far. Since then Jones has been a regular commentator across all major news platforms, and on his own popular Youtube channel, fighting for as he claims ‘social Justice’ (when does rallying for social justice become social engineering?) and aligning himself with the progressive liberal left, and all the issues that the manufactured collective political identity of the new left is supporting. He has become the ‘wet dream’ of the young left, and has taken on a morally righteous messiah complex, aided and abated by the mainstream news media at large. Such ubiquity and perpetual access to such far reaching mainstream platforms should ring alarm bells in any political spectator. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is elevated to such a position of influence based solely on merit, and certainly not if there position, politically, socially or philosophically is a threat to the very established power that the mainstream news media is controlled by, nobody. Now, it has been suggested that I am obsessed with Owen Jones by a much welcomed critic of an earlier post of this paper. However, I would have to argue and restate my point, that it is the Mainstream News Media (MNM) who are ‘obsessed’ with Jones. I am merely interested in their obsession with him, and the platform they give him to establish ‘subject position’ (please refer to the work of culture and media critic Stuart Hall 1932-2014), to shape political identity and with it shape left narrative, in the left/right political theatre we are seeing. The effect being that those with less critical faculties, those with less cynicism and skepticism for the power relations at the heart of the Nation State and its capacity to use the MNM to shape mass public perception, simply adopt Jones’ subject position, political identity and narrative, in what has become a culture of ‘copy and paste’ political identity. And indeed, in can be said that Tommy Robinson serves the same purpose on the right, his subject position, political identity and narrative potentially being adopted by the less critical. The comparison is solely based on their roles, wittingly or unwittingly in the political propaganda playing out in the Mainstream News Media.
Jones is on a payroll, most likely multiple, and it’s my suggestion given the way he has been issue hopping on command, like some pre-pubescent political court jester that he is most likely on the payroll of the British Secret Services, probably MI5 whose intelligence operations are widely known to be deeply embedded in the British mainstream media. Robinson certainly is. Jones and a litany of political media whores are employed not to engage in honest investigative journalism and debate, but instead to shape the narrative and thus the nation’s perspective in relation to the national, European and Global political agenda, with the focus right now being the European Union. In the wake of Mays commons rejected deal and long before, the name of the game has been to destroy any consensus in the UK to leave the European Union, and this is why we have seen in the past fortnight these platforms outside parliament used to parade a so called ‘Far Right’ who are framed as Brexit supporters, and thus creating a connection and/or association between ‘Far Right’ perspectives and a skepticism or rejection of centralized European control through the super state of the European Union. Please allow me to digress for a moment to discuss why such an operation is taking place, and why our own state (not mine) is complicit, as I briefly discuss the European Union and Global Government.
The European Union: History, Objectives and Process
As professor of political geography John Rennie Short (1993, P62-67) discusses in the 2nd Edition of his Introduction to Political Geography, Europe was in terrible shape after the 2nd World War, battered from a war funded by US capital, with many of the individual European countries involved now facing bankruptcy. The political project that was to come, born out of the OEEC, OECD and NATO, was indeed the brainchild of US political and economic strategy, as the USA emerged out of this period as the new global political superpower. One must note and remember at this juncture, whilst the British State may have been economically and politically weakened, its monarchy, which heads the state, and was connected to the German Nazi party retained its wealth and power. Returning back to the European project, as Short (1993, p63) documents, the OEEC  drawn up by the USA was concerned with maintaining peace and co-operation within Europe, but this was secondary to and necessary only for the USA’s real objective, that of resuscitating (and thus indebting) European Economies , and establishing a European trading block. The beginning one may argue of the real consolidation of wealth into the few hands that hold it today, and the projects of increased national and societal debt. Later, in 1958 the European Economic Community (EEC) was established, bringing with it the common market and the free movement of capital, goods and people – or as we would later be referred to as ‘human resources’. Then in 1992 the single market was established - furthering internal economic control, in 1993 the Maastricht Treaty  brought in a single currency and tighter control over sovereign states security and foreign policy, greater restrictions  and centralizing of power coming  again in 2009 with the Lisbon treaty, essentially creating European Law and a European constitution.
I hope you can see with this trajectory, that the European Union is a political and economic project of Western financial power spearheaded by the USA, one that has used the union of European Nation States as a means of consolidating its wealth, and as by result of its trajectory, and ultimately its overarching objective, has replaced the sovereign nation state with a European Super-state. The state lest we forget has long been merely an administrative system for established national power – monarchical, aristocratic and financial, operating as a ‘so called’ democratic body. Indeed, we as a nation have never and will never be able to influence the mechanics and objectives of the European Union, this is solely left to the ‘European Commission’ (EU,2019), a body of 28 unelected, yes unelected, officials, or if you would prefer to put it another way, self-appointed officials presiding over our future (in material terms at least!). Now, we can send our delegates over to Brussels (like we did with the New Right’s political saviour and supposed anti-globalist Nigel Farage), to put forward our desires and ideas, our likes and dislikes, but this process is merely a pan European Political Pantomime, attempting to imitate a European Democracy. In fact the reality of the ‘European Commission’ headed by the fat necked, red faced piss pot that is Claude Juncker, is that it is  the utter inversion of democratic process, it is more akin to a ‘European House of Lords’ (albeit collectively less wrinkled!) who are there to  protect the interests of the global project. It is through ‘The Commission’ that all national European ‘democratic delusions’ must pass, and thus it becomes a sort of last stop for these delusions, they are noted but ignored, as they do not fit with the Global political project that the European Union is an important part of and stepping stone to. Even the political super villain that was Margaret Thatcher, surely one of the greatest actors to ever grace the stage of political theatre (personally I would have given her an Oscar for every year she was in Office!), eventually saw first-hand what the European Union really was, an undemocratic Super State (Thatcher, 2017). Indeed, in the late 1980’s it can be said that there was cross party skepticism of the European project, as in the form of Tony Benn Labour and the left had one of the European Union’s fiercest critics. However, he was sidelined, as was Thatcher (replaced by Major), no doubt for their positions, with Labour choosing instead the then luke-warm Europhile Neil Kinnock, followed by the boiling hot Europhile Tony Blair, and so with time the skepticism and dangers of the European Union as a Super State receded.
The United Nations and Global Governance
In addition to the project of the European Union, we have the United Nations, another pack of un-elected or if you prefer self-appointed delegates working in the interest of global finance. The UN in its own words is “an international organization founded in 1945.  It is currently made up of 193 Member States… . . .that brings together its  member states to confront common challenges, manage shared responsibilities”(UN,2019). The UN was another post 2nd world war large scale trans national political project, that has long been concerned with implementing through political coercion and sleight of hand the agenda of global finance. The UN have since their inception been controlling trade and development around the globe with the setting of the UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) and pivotally in 1974 working to establish a ‘New International Economic Order’ (Short, 1993, p32). However, their most integral contribution to the project of global governance is the official UN Agenda 21 (UN,1992), and Agenda 30 documents (UN,2015), which claim to be concerned with a sustainable global future, but which go far beyond ecological concern into the realm of large scale global human and resource control, Agenda 2030 is especially revealing  (and sinister) in its desire to control the human experience. Indeed, these documents outline the need for its guidelines to be implemented at a local and not national government level by its member states, to ensure no doubt, that its more questionable at best, and extremely sinister at worst, guidelines do not enter into the public consciousness through national political debate. Furthermore, they are documents that have pretty much been ignored by the Mainstream New Media – to be expected really, with the hopefully soon to be out of print shit rag of the progressive left, the guardian claiming it to be a loose and benign set of guidelines, that has merely stirred the interest of ‘conspiracy theorists. Ha! Well if the sustainable smart cities that we have seen constructed across the West (and China), sort of urban high-rise digital concentration camps, soon to be augmented by the introduction of the ‘extremely dangerous’– words of 350 scientists who have collectivized against its roll out, are invisible to you in the UK, from London to Manchester, Liverpool to Bristol, then you should really visit your local opticians, or if you listen to the ‘conspiracy theorists’, check your wrist and neck for a microchip!
The EU Referendum: The Vote That Keeps on Giving
Now, before returning to the current political narrative of a growing ‘Far Right’ led by its leading man, the cherub faced Marxist Owen Jones (I’m sure you’re a nice chap Owen, just lost like so many others, in a sea of political and mass media filth), I’d like to talk about the other political advantages of holding a (now increasingly unlikely) once in a generation vote, the great 2016 referendum on the UK’s membership to the European Union, that has resulted in the ongoing political theatre we call ‘BREXIT’! I did not vote in the Referendum, as I believed then, just as I believe now that the Establishments decision (and it was an establishment decision) to offer a so called people’s vote, had a number of other – national and geo political motives. Firstly, one must remember that this decision came in the wake of what should have been a watershed moment in British political and cultural history, the establishment pedophile scandal, that had the ‘Knighted by the Queen’ Sir Jimmy Saville at its centre, a man who held frequent company with, and had very close ties to, our lovely and benign Monarchy, and the ‘servants of the people’ our political elite. Are we to really believe that a man who was welcomed in to these closed circles and elite institutions had not been vetted by British Secret Services? Really? Are we to believe that? The Monarchy and political establishment knew then as they know now who Saville was and what he was involved in. Indeed, our Secret Services and intelligence agencies are the most far reaching, well connected and sophisticated on the entire planet (think of GCHQ, MI5, MI6, and include Canada, Australia and other former commonwealth countries, that are still controlled behind the scenes by British power and finance). Nevertheless, the Establishment paedophile scandal and subsequent piecemeal, toothless and repeatedly derailed public inquiry have long been forgotten in the wake of the all-consuming Brexit, by both the complicit Mainstream News Media and in the minds of the collective public. In addition, we all but ignored the information presented in the Chillcott Inquiry, documenting the illegal and unjust (there has never really been a just war) war that the State waged in Iraq, which should have seen the Fabien fuckwit Tony Blair tried for War Crimes, but has since seen him somehow exonerated for his role, and placed at the forefront of the European and Global political propaganda machine, rolled out to sway public opinion, just as other European and global governance enthusiasts, like Michael Hesseltine and John Major have (you’ve all served your purpose, so please shut up and fuck off back to the Cotswold’s, where I’m sure you can arse rape a fox with impunity, or fuck a pigs head until you heart’s content!). It is a form of what can be considered ‘Effective Governance’, it uses the state apparatus – in this case a referendum to divert public attention, or redirect flak, and it drags out process slowly, ever so slowly, so to ensure that we have collectively moved on from any events or uncovering’s that are potentially damaging to the Established power in question.
Ultimately, the result of the Referendum vote was irrelevant to the long term geo-political plan, whatever the outcome the National, European and Global power co-operating in the construction of this potential (if not already actual) Global prison could use the result to their advantage, and ultimately reach their objective. A vote to remain would have taken us to where the aforementioned power desired us to go, straight into a seemingly final tie with the European Union, and thus further down the line connecting with the other political zones that have been and are being formed. A vote to leave, as we supposedly got however opened up a myriad of national political and trans-national political possibilities, such as those I have just discussed and those that we have seen. It increased the capacity to divert all attention away from National Austerity – which we should not forget was the result of the European Union’s Maastricht criteria, calculations of government debt and budget deficits against GDP, in the wake of the 2008 Financial Crash (The European Institute, 2019). Indeed, this is the lunacy of the Labour supporting progressive left, they perpetually demonstrate and march against Austerity, yet they (in the main) are seeking a 2nd referendum and realignment with the very institution whose Fiscal Policy proposed our National Austerity Programme. In relation to this, political and social debate also been diverted away from addressing the growing homelessness crisis, and paradoxically the continued building and implementation of Smart Cities (Neo Yuppie Penthouses doubling up as sky rise digital prisons) at a time of austerity. In addition, there has been the globalist attack on Syria and the migrant crisis that have been reported but relatively skimmed over, we have also had an absolute explosion of mental health diagnosis, here and across the west, alongside the criminally ignored dangers of Vaccinations, Artificial Intelligence and the soon to be implemented and scientist labelled highly dangerous 5G technology (5G Appeal, 2017), and on and on and on. It is no coincidence that such important issues have taken a back seat to the political doublespeak of our vapid and deceitful public servants perpetually discussing Brexit, alongside propaganda straw figures such as Owen Jones and Tommy Robinson et al.
Brexit, The EU and the road to Global Governance
Indeed, when political power on behalf of its Royal and Financial seniors, offer something like the European referendum vote, it is not to hand power to the people (these people see you as a human resource to ‘debt the fuck out of’ – see Baudrillard’s brilliant Debt Economy) so we can decide our own destiny, or to adhere to the tenets of democracy (talk of a 2nd Referendum Vote all but undermines this greatest of political fallacies), but instead to further the agenda of the established national and global power structure towards  Global Governance. Global Governance I hear you say, New World Order? Sounds like ‘Conspiracy Theorist’ stuff to me mate! Well, as Professor John Rennie Short (1993, p52/53) points out, “In 1990-1 a new term was heard in International diplomatic circles: The New World Order. Like all ‘new’ terms it was not that new, as politicians have been predicting a New World Order for at least a couple of centuries”. Surely not you say, a couple of centuries? Well, think on it, we are willing to accept, and seemingly happy to digest the fact that the worlds wealth has slowly been concentrated into the hands of the elusive 1% (I really hate the phrase), yet we seem completely unwilling to accept that this concentration of wealth, and with it power, influence and control, may have risen from meticulous long term planning, using all the state and financial institutions available by a global elite based in Monarchies and Finance banking. Was it chance? Pure luck then? Please, if you believe we are where we are by an unplanned set of random events, happenings and accidents, then I worry for you, and where you ignorance and naiveté may lead you and others like you. Ultimately the referendum was handed to the people (and if power ever hands you anything be very suspicious!) to take us, the British State and all other European Nation States trapped in the undemocratic European Union into the next phase of the Global Governance project, or as  global politicians and diplomats have themselves referred to it as, The New World Order or the even more sinister Global Village. It puts to bed the EU question in Britain and it also acts to send an emphatic message to all other European Countries where there may be a rightfully placed distrust of the European super state, attempt to leave and we will financially destroy you, offering you a deal so bad you will be economically in a worse place than before, and as we are now seeing, we will ultimately gain control of you by your own consent.
The ‘Far Right’, Manufacturing Consent and the Fascist Reality of the Nation State
I would like to repeat once again, the assertions by a mainstream media that the ‘Far Right’ is on the rise in the UK is pure political propaganda  and shaping of collective public perception to manufacture our consent for their global political project. It is the politics of fear from a mainstream who are increasingly shifting towards the political left – “only our support for a progressive liberal left government united with our European comrades can stop this Fascist rise”. However, evidence of this Far Right rise, is not, to me anyway, visible or tangible in Manchester where I live, and have always lived. I just don’t see it. I do see Owen Jones and Anna Soubry being attacked on the new Broadcast Hubs of Mainstream Media, by what to me looks like a ‘hired in’ pack of supposedly Brexit supporting Far Right protestors. By making the connection on Mainstream News Media between Brexit voters and Far Right Fascists, the powers that be are shaping the narrative, and public perception, as well as risking the increase of serious societal division and prejudice. Only weeks ago a similar objective was sought when the Mossad funded, British Secret Service operative Tommy Robinson (not his real name, but hey, marks for such a British moniker!) it was widely reported was joining Ukip, the party who we’re told propelled us into the leave vote, led by Nigel Farage and who have repeatedly been accused of being Right Wing. As a result of these falsified connections, there would have undoubtedly been left in the minds of all of those who voted to leave on the (completely reasonable) grounds of the impact that unfettered migration has had on our public services, most notably the strain on GP and NHS services, alongside school places, unemployment, housing, and in the minds of all those who own small businesses, whose growth ‘is’ restricted by EU regulations, an instant sense of fear that they are now being unjustly grouped in with, or labelled as ‘Far Right’. It is classic group psychological manipulation, it has created an ‘undesirable’ sub-group linked unjustly by association to leave voters, and thus has generated the power to produce conformity in large numbers to the desirable position of remain. It is straight of the Tavistock Institute of social engineering. The current media melee down at Parliament Square is precisely an exercise in shaping public perception, it is established power seeking the public’s consent - by means of fear, fear of being labelled a ‘fascist’ and not through autonomous informed choice - for closer alignment to a European and in turn Global Government. The Ultimate form of centralized power that has openly been discussed by diplomats, financial power and monarchies for decades now, if not centuries.
I have seen the ‘Far Right’, marching in Manchester a few years ago now under the moniker the English Defense League, they were, and still are if the BBC footage can be trusted, a bunch of toothless, amphetamine addled, bomber jacket wearing clichés (equally as lost in some collective political identity as the new progressive left) from some of England’s most disenfranchised provincial towns. I don’t despise them, just as I don’t despise the new left, I feel sorry for them, how they have been called to service by their masters and played their required role, pawns in a game of a continuing political, financial and now ever more technocratic agenda. The mainstream news media and Jones’ repeated assertions that the ‘Far Right’ in England is gaining support and momentum is at best an over exaggeration and at worst, further evidence of national State propaganda through the corrupted mouthpiece that is the mainstream news media. However, as I have just stated, the idea that a real ground level ‘Far Right’ is capable of organizing itself into a tangible political Body that will appeal to Britain’s electorate, and thus steal the reign’s of power from the two main parties in our undemocratic political system is absolute nonsense, absurdity personified, utter bollox. I imagine they could collectively barely organize a sock drawer. The only way that these extremely fringe views could ever perceivably be consolidated into some tangible organization, and galvanize support  is with the help of British Secret Services, and historically they have been, not to steal the reins of power, but to once again manage public perception and manufacture political consent.
The real farcical nature of all this and the revealing of its true motives come when you examine the new progressive left’s and Jones’ position on how to deal with a supposedly authentic, rising and politically charged ‘Far Right’. They, headed by their self-appointed Guru Jones and assisted extensively by his and the New Lefts access to Mainstream Media platforms, is to deny the ‘Far Right’ a platform (although as discussed it has been given one in very suspicious circumstances through these broadcast hubs at Parliament square), and to deny this groups right to freedom of speech. Through this very act of proposed censorship, we are seeing an attack on the Freedom of speech. Now I do not agree, with the stereotypical views that have long been associated with the Far Right, but I will, yes I will, defend its right to freedom of speech, because I too value my right to freedom of speech, and I understand that if you do not defend the right to freedom of speech for all then there is no such thing. This position of attempting to deny the right for this supposed rising ‘Far Right’ to have its voice heard, is an idiotic and dangerous one to take, and here’s why I believe it to be such. At a basic psychological and philosophical level, at the micro subjective level of the shadow self and at the macro level of the collective shadow, one, or we, must never deny the reality of darkness. Just as we must face the light we must face the dark, for it is the only way to individual and collective consciousness evolution. The danger is that if we collectively deny this shadow (if we are to believe that this fascist Right is authentic) then it will no doubt fester and grow in the shadows. For all shadow or darkness not faced down by the individual or the collective, will eventually come screaming out of the unconscious, for we are all one, and we must deal with the shadow as such. Indeed Carl Gustav Jung 1875-1961 writing on these concepts and the archetypes that must wrestle with them (2001, p156) comments “A consciousness sharpened by experience knows the catastrophic consequences that disregard of this entails for the individual as well as the society”. Thus, drag it into the light, make it visible, face it and diminish its power. The irony here is this, that there is nothing more fascist than the nation state, the framework in which all of this is taking place, aided by its media. Can you think of any greater form of fascism than one which wages wars, builds arms, kills millions on foreign soil, sends its own youth to death in battle, imprisons for profit, surveils its people, drugs entire populations, indoctrinates instead of educates? We have been living under fascism for decades if not centuries, it is only that we are too comfortable under the system of sense pleasure reward it has created for us that we tolerate it. Indeed, by actively engaging with this political machinery, either by voting, joining or canvassing for any political party, you are supporting a system of tyranny and albeit indirectly, supporting all of the above abuses and thus breaking natural law. Greater still is the geo political financially backed march towards global governance, that the European union is a bridge to that if most terrifying, surely a global super state is the apex of fascist possibility, and one that we are sleepwalking into the final stages of, and by engaging with the political machinery you are actively supporting it.
Let me state again, as it truly needs it, the events that we are seeing unfold in Brussels and Westminster are not the levers of democracy in motion, but instead the institutions of national and global, political, financial and monarchical power shaping the minds and material realities of the mass public, to manufacture our consent, as they lead us from A to B in a manner which on the surface presents democracy in action. Again, British Secret Services are not merely employed to counteract Terrorism as the official narrative goes, far from it, they have long been deployed to surveille their own people, infiltrate and control the mass media and to employ or compromise those with considerable influence, from politicians to authors to musicians, from Tony Blair to Owen Jones to Russell Brand (remember that slimy momentarily ‘new age’ sex pest!), they all have a price or a skeleton in the closet. The current level of political theatre surrounding Brexit at Parliament square is just the ratcheting up of public perception shaping, it is the collusion of the political establishment, the mainstream media and British secret services. It is the leading of the public to conclusions and opinions which secure their position, it is an exercise in how to obtain hegemony through deceit. I am afraid dear reader, it is once again working a treat.
National and European Political Structure: A Conflict of Interests and Lack of Accountability
We have seen with Brexit, the hardening of Political Identities and increased conformity to them by the general public, positions with deeper divisions than ever before between them, all reinforced by the mainstream news media, political rhetoric and even commercial marketing. We have been individually and collectively psychologically kettled into position by these institutions in the most nefarious of manners. As Thomas Paine rightfully (1776, p5) observed many moons ago “government is at best a necessary evil”, so the idea that collectively we would seek to add another layer of governance to the already compromised and corrupted one we have in Westminster is to this writer anyway, is some form of collectively confused madness and a gross rejection of the greatest virtue of all, freedom. It is proof enough to me that our perceptions, thoughts and actions as a society, are truly not our own. My position is this, and I have already stated I hold no hope in political systems or arms of the state for change, I hold these institutions in contempt, and have as little to do with them as I possibly can (save for examining them and understanding them). Unless you remove the unelected layer of centralized governance that is the EU, you will never truly be able to hold Westminster to account. It will always be able to excuse its actions or non-actions by claiming that it is hampered by EU regulations, which in the coming years will no doubt become all-consuming for the Nation States involved. However, if you remove it (I hold no hope that this is actually possible) then at least you can point the finger solely at your own (not mine) Nation State, one that you must not forget has historically repeatedly lied to you on behalf of those who it really serves, but at least one where you can elect those who are involved to some degree in the passing of legislation, unlike the EU. No body politic should be unelected, nor should it be unaccountable, yet the EU and its globalist big brother the UN are exactly that. Even if we left the EU on WTO rules (the obvious thing to do!), paying the EU nothing in severance and instead investing the saved severance package in the democratically savaged NHS, we would still be faced with a political system unfit (as it always has been) to serve the public. Our Westminster model works on behalf of and answers to The Queen, and thus the Monarchy as a whole, its connected aristocracy, and finance , most notably The City of London (the trading district – not London). Anyone who believes that the British Empire’s (headed by our Monarchy) power, control, influence and wealth diminished long ago, I suggest you they watch The Spiders Web: Britains Second Empire by Michael Oswald (Oswald, 2018) or read Nicholas Shaxson's book Treasure Islands. The British Monarchy and its Empire merely transformed its wealth and power into more esoteric form, but that is something to be discussed at another time. I predict that one of two things will happen. First, the whole political theatre will be dragged out until the death, extracting as much political attention out of the whole saga as possible, keeping the public’s attention for as long as possible, then, eventually we will have a 2nd Referendum and the UK will vote to remain in the European Union. The second possibility is exactly the same as the first, except once all of the political propaganda has been squeezed out of the process, we will have a deal that see’s the UK leave the EU in name only.
The Reality of Political Participation and the Politics of Purpose and Self-hood
Change, real change, not change engineered by the vested interests of established power through institutions such as the Tavistock Institute, or more openly party political affiliated groups such as Momentum (towards what I ask?), or lest we forget the Mainstream Media and Culture machines, will come with the evolution of consciousness, of knowledge, of self-understanding in individuals, one by one, and the sharing of this knowledge, the change will be internal and as a result reflected externally. All other work then, other than the evolution of the self and the sharing of self-knowledge, a knowledge which takes in our connectedness to all consciousness, encompassing all nature and beyond can be seen as useless toil. Indeed, all other work may be understood as work we are doing on behalf of our unjust masters, and thus the work of our own domination and enslavement. For the system of mass consciousness control with politics at its beating heart is vampyric in nature. As the Psychoanalyst and Social Psychologist Erich Fromm 1900-80 (2001, p112) points out “like the effect of advertising on the consumer, the methods of political propaganda tend to increase the feeling of insignificance in the voter… . . . Confronted with the power and size of the parties as demonstrated in their propaganda, the individual voter cannot help feeling small and of little significance”.  Indeed, it drains us of our natural internal energy, it robs us of our creative potential, it engineers self-loathing and it implements a framework of psychic subordination within us, one where we are always less, and never as we should be, that being equal and free to enjoy the magnificent subjective sensory experience of consciousness. Instead we have our consciousness’ reduced to shouting and screaming at one another based on manufactured political identities, or material identities in general, we are left watching change agents such as Tommy Robinson on the so called ‘Right’, and his equal on the so called left Owen Jones vie for our attention. We, in our ‘mugged off’ state of consciousness end up screaming and shouting in support or contempt of these ‘straw figures’, who are merely agents of the state, employed to shape our perceptions and manufacture our consent. One should only ever engage with such a 3rd rate pantomime, to recognize it as such, and acquaint oneself with the mechanisms and processes that propaganda machines employ. Any other type of engagement must surely be in ignorance, delusion or willing self-deception, positions I have no sympathy for. Either that, or as Erich Fromm (2002, p112) also points out, political propaganda can seduce the individuals desire to appear intellectual “All of this does not mean that advertising and political propaganda overtly stress the individual’s insignificance. Quite the contrary; they flatter the individual by making him appear important, and by pretending to appeal to his critical judgement, to his sense of discrimination. But these pretences are essentially a method to dull the individual’s suspicions and to help him fool himself as to the individual character of his decision”. Something I would like you to bear in mind as we move on.
In addition and in relation especially to my peer group and the younger generations, any notion that the ‘Red Team’ - The Labour Party will either lead us to a collectively better place or be a ‘stepping stone’ (Marxist clap trap on the use of the state apparatus as a phase towards freedom!) to a collectively better place, are without doubt to my mind delusional, and if I didn’t understand the depraved, sinister and futile field of Pharmacology so well, I would suggest you go to see a psychiatrist. For let me put in the terms of ‘the common’ of which I belong. Whether Manchester United or Manchester City win the Premier League is ultimately irrelevant, as the real winner in this domain will always be the Trans National Corporation that is SKY, or if we refer back to the political domain, the established Monarchical and Financial power it serves. For this my friends, is how the game was constructed to be. Even academics are now (belatedly I might add) conceding to the illusion that democracy is, with the term ‘post democracy’. I would have to argue that we have never really experienced democracy in the UK at all given its conflict of interests (Paine,1776), and furthermore, global governance as is esoterically handed out by the UN and the unelected European Union are obvious examples of governance without even the illusion of consent. Yet we still, like a grieving widow, unwilling to accept her husband’s death, cling to the notion that democracy is alive and well. Furthermore, to my peers and anyone caught up in this political hyper reality, ask yourself this. Are you wanting to change, shape, control and master the material world, the political realm and all of its influence based upon your political identities doctrine of ‘the good’? Then surely you must first be able to shape, control and master you own mind and consciousness? Have you? I know I haven’t. I am not advocating silence here, but instead the communication and sharing of knowledge outside of institutional contexts, free from their restrictions and power relations, where knowledge can lead you where it may. As I have previously stated, change can only come through the development of self-hood, with the understanding of the conscious and unconscious self, for this manifests in the collective, every other preoccupation for all intents and purposes is a diversion. Why then you may ask, am I even writing this essay at all? Well, as I have stated I do not care for party politics, nor the British State (both of my parents are Irish Republicans, my grandfather fought as a member of the Irish Republican Army against British State Occupation, and I am a 2nd Generation Irish Immigrant), but I do care for personal freedom, the right to autonomous thought and the right to self-sovereignty, all in relation to natural law (a law that forbids the infliction of pain and suffering, mental or physical on any other being). And I also believe, as I think this piece has brought to light, that these aforementioned values are under serious threat from global political forces and financial power, who are more and more shaping our reality and human experience. However, one must remember that in times of grave political, cultural and ever increasingly technological deception, that ‘power’ in all its guises from the micro individual to the macro systemic, only has the power that we give it. Indeed, it is power (through wealth accumulation) that has been amassed through our engagement with politics and the economic market, and that is simply the reality of it. Furthermore, this Global structure and its political machinery can never give us what is already ours, that being the freedom of both thought and expression, but it can my friends, as it is attempting to do, take those freedoms away.

Art, Magic, Doctrine? A Response... . . . .
There is immense power in art, I think everyone I know in some form or another has had their human experience enriched by it. However, the piece titled The Establishment are the real Magicians, not Artists was written in response to an article focusing on Genesis P-Orridge by the liberal left shit rag that is the Guardian, and more generally the use of 'magic' in art. I have no problem with anyone who wants to practice 'sex magick' or read The Guardian, I'd like a world where we are all free to choose how we spend our time, and I certainly wouldn’t want anyone to agree with me. However, In relation to the current zeitgeist, the idea of fucking in the presence of a stuffed animal whilst on ketamine, and the decision for Britain's best selling liberal left rag to do an article on it seems a shade out of touch. In addition, as 'psychological warfare' on collective consciousness rolls on and on, it seems a shade inward looking to these eyes at least, to if you have access to 'magic', to not be using it as a form of resistance, and for increased subjective and collective knowledge expansion and empowerment. And yes, you could argue that P-Orridge is embodying difference and resistance to the current narrative (no doubt he is), but given the reality that we are not even in a pre-revolutionary stage, it is a language and embodiment that bounds itself in it's microcosm and is typical of the way in which since the early nineties 'artworlds' have abandoned the common language, becoming less accessible and cutting themselves off from the possibility of greater resonance.
Now, as far as i'm concerned access to a 'truth' is an impossibity, and seeking a ‘truth’ that can be collectively accepted is a grave deception. First of all what is 'truth'? From one human to another, one continent to another and over time this concept changes. The concept of a fixed 'truth' in itself is the foundation for deception, it is the objectification of human life and thus the narrowing of understanding. Fascism is founded on a fixed truth, as is racism, sexism etc etc etc. I don't believe art is the 'truth', for that would simply be the same deception that elite power peddles. Art, merely as an extension of communication holds possibility, but to me nothing more, and while I would encourage its expansion for deconstructive ends, its expansion as some form of replacement doctrine seems open to the same problems as all doctrines. Everything must be assessed on it's own merit by each individual, free (as much as is currently possible) to make their subjective decision on it's value. For what is there to suggest that an 'art bubble' would not succumb to the same level of stratification, inequality and deception that the current mass bubble exhibits? Would we not be showing a form of 'blind faith' to accept it not knowing where it leads, the same type of blind faith that has expanded Organised Religion? Free market capitalism? Fascism? Faith in Politics? Would we not be suspending all alternative historical evidence, reason and rationale by suggesting that our bubble is ‘the bubble’, ‘the true bubble’, as all corrosive doctrines have done before? The idea that we might replace a Market Doctrine with an Artistic Doctrine is to me absurd, for you do not cut the head of the king to then wear the crown yourself. Would such an assertion not simply open the door to a new form of cultural fascism?
Anyway, i'm less concerned with ‘the truth’ and more concerned with having my subjective understanding and experience narrowed and stained by elite power, which seeks to keep kicking the dead pig of capitalism, the great organiser of Western existence where if something does not have a market value, it does not have value. Now, we might say, just don't pay attention to it, but as expressed before, no man or woman is an island, and the idea of being an Ostrich feels intuitively uncomfortable. In addition, whilst we may reject the common narrative and seek to understand the world in a subjective juxtaposition of our choosing that makes sense to us, imposing our views upon no one, our neighbors acceptance and alliance with the common narrative will forever affect ours. I personally would not want to live under any doctrine, market, religious, artistic or otherwise, I'd like for my subjective understanding to be just that, a human experience where I am free to choose my own juxtaposition. I do not wish to spread the ‘word of art’, for what of the people who do not wish to conform to such a narrative? What of their rights?
This form of increased subjective freedom is not even within sight, this must first be recognised and accepted before we may create the sort of environment which is not beset with such rigid social structures that reinforce rigid ways of understanding, and which leave us riddled with absolutes by the time we reach adulthood. However, such freedom is a scary prospect for some and we also must accept and respect this, humans have lived under doctrine since the earliest of civilisations, for better or for worse. Finally, i'm all for art and magic, certainly the types that deconstruct the current absolute objectification of our experience, but I certainly would not want to replace one doctrine with another, for to me collective doctrines and identities, whatever they may be, conservative, artist, working class, christian, can never ever do justice to our diverse subjective experiences.

The Establishment are the real Magicians, not Artists.
Is there any greater proponent of 'magic' than the British Establishment? In many ways the magic conjured up in 'artworlds', whilst no doubt carrying some power at a subjective level, seems anemic when compared to the 'magic' used by established elites. Correct me if i'm wrong but getting 33 million people to vote on two possible futures that were at best undefined and speculative, and in the process appeasing a disenfranchised working class, dividing people along vote lines and stirring up extreme views is some serious 'magic'! Their magic is the magic of 'the spectacle', presented through the mass media, magic so powerful it renders all capacity for autonomous and critical thought virtually impossible. So powerful it left the liberal left shouting at working class out voters in the most 'illiberal' manner. What happened to their liberalism? I'll tell you what happened to it, 'the spectacle' made it momentarily disappear... . . . now that's real 'magic'.
I guess that leaves the question of as to what ends magic should be employed for? Should it be used to influence mass collective consciousness, as it is by established elite power? Or should it be used for subjective gain and increased subjective sensory pleasure? Well, while art employs the power of magic in it's microcosms, no doubt enriching the lives and experience of both the producer and the consumer, who together make up a proportion of the population who have been exposed to and raised to value art, it always does so in the shadow of a greater magic which keeps the enlightening magic of art hidden from a large proportion of the population. Instead, we are fed nonsustaining mind closing shit that poses as 'art' and has little trace of 'magic' to it, mainly by those who allow the great abstraction that is 'the market' to organise their principles. In contrast, the magic of global political news narratives that conjure up multiple forms of the 'truth', confusing populations to the point of either apathy or extremism is pure magic, and the artworld could do a lot worse than learning from it, unless it seeks to render itself irrelevant, preaching to itself in a puddle of its own piss. For we all know don’t we, that no man or woman is an island, that our neighbours experience influences our own, and that no matter what bubble we seek to hide in, it will eventually be burst by those seeking to impose an ideology upon us.

Shadow Birds and Street Vermin
I am guided by shadow birds and street vermin
Magpies, crows, pigeons, mice and rats
Straight up symbolic discourse
Where communication takes the form
Of appearance at the point of thought
In conscious ‘urban’ fields
Marking junctures in rumination
Relieving the perpetual indecision
Sharing our spoiled identities
And judgements of modernity
It’s cross species interaction
That cuts the head off ‘reason’
Primal guides for souls outside
The chaos of the spectacle
Tuned to pirate city frequencies
That rejects all that is respectable
Rubbing shoulders with wings and tails
In a world of ‘organic outsiders’
Where respectable’s a straight jacket
So better to go without, go naked
Managing the incompatible
With the ‘vermin’ I hold sacred
Symbolic interaction serves
To ease the weight of shared rejection
Keep it grounded, keep it simple
And exercise ‘other’ perceptions
For the project of the present
Holds yet undefined dimensions

Status Reflections
Seeking purity through the very act of existence
In a climate so impure it makes all that is healthy sick
Clinging to residual threads from a previous spectacle
One with a sense of resistance, self and unwritten endings
Excluding all that is conducive to morality and meaning
And treating with indifference all superficial social norms
Which themselves are merely a preoccupation with the inconsequential
The ‘self’ a product of power games that looks vulgar from the side-lines
Games where we appropriate each other’s being in a selfish grab for power
Competing for Status Reflections
Seeking the biggest fish in our pond
Using bargain basement profiles based on empty cultural flim flam
That carry the potential to reward ‘the self’ with future sense pleasures
Ego masturbations for the overcrowded public gallery
It is human interaction so cheap it tends to morph into misery in an instant
Oh the Horror once the veneer is lifted
And the light reveals the shallowness
Of the Contaminated Communicate
Everyone’s a fraud by the very act of engagement
Almost inevitably incapable of superseding the spectacle
Addicted and constricted the ritual never satisfies
Like a moth to toxic light, incinerating the sacred
All is justified as ‘normal’
In a world where normal is the repression of ‘the self’ in favour of pre-formed subject positions
That are rewarded but restrictive, on our capacity for feeling
Scrambling to secure position and drunk on the deception
It makes for a very ‘paranoid paradigm’
Where power shapes relations, alignments and ‘the intimate’
Where power shapes everything
